Alham's employee does not work for my bookings even though I keep working with her more than once. She says there are no reservations, although I have a pre-booked service. I do not think about booking later.

        Location, Value
I really enjoyed my stay at the Peak Hotel. For the money you can't ask for more. The location is very central. Only a minute away from Istiklal Street (which is a major benefit). I did miss the fact that they didn't offer an iron in the room (they did have a trouser press though). Also the shower was not completely covered so even if you are very careful you end up with a wet bathroom. The only two things I personally had a slight issue with. We were on our anniversary and didn't want to spend much on our accommodation but on the trip itself. The Peak made it happen. Would stay here if I were to come to Istanbul again.

        LOCATION, STAFF, FACILITIES
One of the best 4 star hotels i came across in a long long time. This is purely a 5 star hotel according to me. Room amenities to the perfect, staff was really helpful to guide us with all the local routes and places to visit. And specially Mr. Nadim he was really really helpful. Breakfast with a huge variety to choose. The best hotel in Turkey on my whole trip though i stayed in Sultanahmet area for 2 nights before moving to this area for another 3 nights. Highly recommended

Smoking was allowed in the room ( there was an ashtray) so the pillows smelled and when we got home all Our clothes reeked of smoke. Staff not over friendly or smiley. However location and price made up somewhat for these. In future I’d ask for a non smoking room assuming they have them.

Being near the high street and Sishane, great restaurants around and a good gym
Overall, the stay was a great one. Nice facilities overall and great morning breakfast selection. The area is what makes this hotel great - a minute's walk to the high street, and nice alleyways around with charming restaurants. Some improvements for the place: - needs towel racks for the bathrooms - our shower door never closed fully causing water puddles outside - safe was extremely difficult to figure out - TV didn't work - Gym was great, but the staff was more concerned about looking at their abs in the mirror than attending to the guests. The music was louder than that of a night club. Was I working out at some Las Vegas bar?

Great location. Friendly and professional staff. Very spacious triple room.
Perfect location, 1 min away from Stistlikal Cad. and nice little restaurants. 5 min walk to Metro and taxi stand in front of the hotel. Very spacious triple room. Clean and well designed, with plenty of little details to make the stay more comfortable like the ironing machine, the coffee/tea set, seating facilities, extra big shower, as well as mirrors and the storage space. Very comfortable beds and bed covers also. Great A/C and lightning. Good breakfast with a variety of cooked dishes (every day different), assorted meats, cheese, vegetables and fruits. Coffee experience could be improved with a modern coffee machine offering different types of coffee. The breakfast room seems to be too small for the size of the hotel and doesn't give the feeling and experience of a 4-star hotel, but it is clean and not so crowded if you get up earlier.... 2 of the staff at the front desk could improve on customer orientation skills and manners.... Otherwise, all other colleagues at the reception as well as the other hotel staff (room service, breakfast and the hotel driver!) very friendly, accommodating and professional and they speak very good English. We got a very good last minute rate and the hotel gave us one free airport transfer! We stayed 6 nights at The Peak and all in all we were very satisfied.

        The Peak of value”
        Location, Decor, Breakfast
From its location (100m off Istiklal Street in the Pera area of Beyoglu) to the refreshed decor, this is an excellent resting point for every traveller to Istanbul. It is hard to accept that the hotel has been there since 1961 - modern renovations don't seem to show any of the old architecture (outside or in). The lobby is small (expected for an inner city hotel) but the room size and dining areas are abundant for the number of hotel guests. The one annoying thing is the door closing on each floors - something that all hotels need to work out. The noise at night when guests return at different times can be disturbing - especially if there are kids on a floor moving between two rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Variety and fresh. Should be tried by every guest at least once - if not each day. The Junction (restaurant of the hotel) is also good. We tried it for breakfast and dinner. Both outings were above satisfaction. Peak Hotel has become a top choice for my wife and I, for our future trip back to Istanbul.

        mediocre at best”
Very mediocre.Had already paid for the hotel. First off-putting thing was that this hotel has no parking and since we had hired a car, we were curtly told that they would park it for us at the pay and park right opposite and we had to pay for it during checkout. The subsequent hotels I stayed at Canakkale and Izmir also did not have parking but they did it for me at the pay-and-park without any charge to the customer. I really do not mind paying but the nonchalant attitude of the staff indeed left a bad taste. At the reception, the executive asked for my card. When I told him I had upgraded my card and old card was not available and I submitted my passport as identity proof, he said "we may have to cancel reservation and charge full amount to card again". Really did not make sense when I had already paid for the roo. and also showed him all necessary ID proof since both old and upgraded card was in my name. The guy who helped me Carry the luggage was shamelessly waiting inside to tip him. I had just got there directly from the airport after a bad experience there with the rental agency and had no change on me. When I told him that I would pay him later, he still stood there ! Had to pay him 20 lira to just get him out the room. Room also was cramped up. Same items for breakfast all 3 days. They claim to be a 4 star hotel - far far from it. They really need to change their attitude towards the guests. 2 stars only for the location. Never coming back here for sure

        TERRIBLE!”
The location leaves alot to be desired, no time of the day (or night) is there not some level of noise on the streets which thanks to the very thin walls you can hear everything!. In the room the carpet on the floor looks like there hasn't been any attempt to clean in months, the surfaces and lighting fixtures are ALL coated in dust, for someone that suffers of asthma it was a nightmare to breathe. Out of the 5 nights we stayed there housekeeping only came in once for room service and considering they didn't bother to even vacuum the room, empty our toilet bin or provide us with fresh sheets and toilet paper, I would say that didn't even count for half a clean. The view from the room is looking out to concrete slabs which were under construction and had workers making extremely loud drilling noises starting at 7am. Although very close to Taksim Square and seriously competitive price I would never recommend to anyone, this is NOT a 4* hotel, more like 2* motel! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
