One of the best hotels we have stayed In”
We have previously stayed at a couple of different hotels in New York including twice at the Plaza. The Peninsula hotel was a far better hotel for comfort, service, and location. The staff were fabulous and the service was amazing. albeit cold the roof top bar was fantastic . The Peninsula will definitely be our choice of hotel when we return to this amazing city.

Outstanding international hotel”
This is a beautiful hotel, more like staying on an old mansion as opposed to a large hotel. It feels very intimate and not full of passing tourists looking in. Quality of the room and building were outstanding. The icing on the cake was the use of the chauffeur driven mini for 3 hours, Ramon was an absolute gentleman and nothing was too much trouble for him. Looking forward to our next visit.

Dont expect the HK Peninsula Experience”
Even though was staying for 9 nights, got assigned perhaps the smallest room in the class of rooms that was booked. No view. Someone else's dirty laudry was forgotten in our room. Repeated reminders enabled a change to a better room at last on day 4. Elevators broke down for several hours one day. Got a bottle of wine and fruit platter for all my troubles.

Non impressive facilities, not even a coffee machine in the room. The room bathroom is not ADA compliance. Breakfast, very poor. In short a non-modern facility , even USB charging port is missing. In short fail to recommend.
