Best Hotel Ever for Service!”
i'm a business traveler of 14 years. i recently had the pleasure to stay at the picasso boutique serviced residences in makati, manila, and be treated to a service level i have never experienced before. the staff (bother service and cleaning) are what make this hotel experience unparalleled, they are unbelievablely helpful and courteous. rarely was i able to open a door, or even push the up button on the elevator. i also had the fortune of vacationing while i was there, so my hotel experience was both business and pleasure. i was there with my wife and three children, constantly coming in and out of the hotel (kid stroller in hand) and the staff always helped us carry our bags, stroller, etc... in and out of the hotel, and to and from our room each day. with a busy family of five with young kids, this was so greatly appreciated. the cleaning staff were also amazing. it seemed like a hurricance hit our room daily and we returned to a perfectly clean and organized room every day. everyone greeted us with a genuine smile and showed genuine concern for us. we were barely able to lift a finger within the proximity of the hotel. thank you very much to the staff of picasso for making our vacation in manila so pleasurable! speaking of proximity, the hotel is perfectly located in makati for both business and pleasure. there is an award winning restaurant (brasserie boheme) at the hotel, with the same level of friendliness and helpfulness as the hotel staff. inclusive breakfast was awesome, with a nice menu and buffet selection. spa, salon, massage, convenient stores, pharmacy, banks, many other restaurants (great buns at pan de malina!) all within two blocks of the hotel. major shopping (green belt, glorietta, just a few blocks away (peso cab ride with tip, or 15 minute walk). we loved our experience at the picasso boutique serviced residences and would highly recommend this hotel to any type of traveler.

Inner City 5-Star Accommodation Oasis”
Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences on L.P. Leviste Street, Salcedo, Makati Is perfect for both business people and individuals or couples who wish to maximise and enjoy their stay in busy Makati. Both its large spacious suites and more modest twin share rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable, well equipped/furnished and clean. The Staff - reception, concierge, doormen, housekeeping and restaurant - are intelligent, cheerful, accommodating. Theye are alert to clients' needs, unobtrusive and never "in your face". In the in-house restaurant, with its excellent menu, staff are there when you need them, and know when to withdraw at a discreet distance, providing clients with the necessary deference and privacy.so they can enjoy their meal. The overall decor and art works on display give the place a special and subtle ambience of class, elegance and good taste, without being snobbish or uppity. The only drawback is being on a very busy street, there is no parking space where people can be picked up or dropped off safely and conveniently...but the quick and efficient welcome afforded by Picasso's doormen, bell hops and concierge truly help to make this matter a "non-issue". My husband and I stayed at Picasso for 14 wonderful days. A year ago, we visited a Filipina friend and her German husband who had booked their accommodation there and who highly recommended Picasso to us. We will continue to sing the praises of this inner-city oasis to family and friends alike. Keep up the good work, Picasso! - Emilie & Phil, Perth, Australia

Great First Impression”
For years, Makati City was lacking in good quality boutique-style hotels. Thankfully, The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences is now available as a great value and alternative for Makati area. This is an old building that was gutted out and tastefully refurbished. The highlight of my stay was the overall friendliness of the staff - from the moment I stepped into the lobby until check-out. Aside from the rather stiff bed mattress, the rooms are comfortable and quiet (especially when facing the rear). The shower is great and the A/C worked well. However, I discovered that not all rooms have the same A/C performance. I got a good deal from agoda and I'm glad to have tried this hotel. ALthough the facilites are adequate with no pool, I will definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent Stay Experience”
We enjoyed our stay at Picasso so much - they are far better than excellent. Picasso's best asset is their awesome staff who provided excellent, efficient, warm and personalise service - making us feeling home away from home. The stay experience is the best we have had in our past 20 years of frequent travel because the staff are always looking out for you making sure you are happy and comfortable. Tight security. Comfortable and large room with balcony. Suggest to request for non-connecting room to avoid noise disturbance (if any). Around 5 mins walk to Ayala Triangle Gardens - it is a park with restaurants. Around 10 mins walk to Greenbelt 5. 7-11 and Salcedo Saturday Market are just next door. Shopping bags are provided on ground floor for shopping at Salcedo Saturday Market - nice touch. Several laundry services are available in the vicinity - love the one around Picasso back entrance - along the stretch where 7-11 is. Quick turnaround at an affordable price (best price around vicinity). Good massage place (Nuat Thai) at the same stretch near the above laundry shop. Needed to book a car to visit Villa Escudero, but the quote from Picasso travel desk was above my budget. The staff connected with me thereafter and provided a private driver contact that meets my budget. I was moved that they find ways to manage my concerns and make my visit a better one. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Manila. Thank you, Picasso.

My New Makati Favorite”
Often coming to Makati for business, and being explorative by nature, I often try to make new finds in the continuously changing accommodation of the worlds capitals. One such deviation from my chain of regular crash-pads was my visit to the The Picasso in Makati. Due to connectivity issues enroute from the airport I had failed to make a booking in advance, so I arrive without a booking, upon querying rates, I was informed that walk-in rates are no-where near as great deal as with the service-provider Agoda, so I was offered to use the hotel WIFI lounge to make a booking there. This was completed within 10 mins, with the service of the concierge to come to the lounge and ensure that I had successfully connected, and then offering passphrase for the WIFI. Upon completed booking my companion and I was offered chilled water bottles for refreshment, perfect... ! Having booked the Barcelona suite without breakfast, I was planning to spend a quiet evening in the room and then explore the menu of the co-located "Brasserie Boheme" throughout my visit, what a mistake... it all turned out good in the end, but not without a bit of torment. The room was amazing, and the staff among the best hotel staff I have ever encountered, the few minor shortcomings were quickly wiped away by the cordiality, friendliness and not least the professionalism of the staff in both the hotel and the brasserie. It turns out they were in the middle of updating their menu, and therefore weren't able to deliver a consistent and satisfying result, until the very last order I made (which due to the hassle I had been through during my stay, was offered complimentary). They are this week implementing the new menu, and promised to have it in place upon my return apr. a week from now. All was however forgiven due to the supreme quality of the last order (a Steak Pavarroti) and the service minded staff who made a lot of effort to compensate for the lack of consistency in the servings. Even my experienc

Great hotel, great location for business”
Picasso Boutique Service Residences provide a solid value for money stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. The location is terrific, with a short work to anywhere in Makati, and well situated for an easy cab ride (P60-P100) to the new Bonifacio Global City (BCG), Manila's new centre of business. Moreover, there are a number of great restaurants in the same street, including the Hotel's own - Pablo. It will be my go-to hotel for Manila from now on (several times a year).

Perfection”
The Picasso Boutique is a hidden gem in Manila, and somewhere where I keep returning to every time I visit Manila. Its central location is perfect, within walking distance of malls, restaurants and all other major landmarks in Makati. The surrounding area is safe at all times of the day or night. The staff are warm, and professional. The rooms are clean, large, modern and comfortable. The hotel prides itself on attention to detail. For example the door staff will happily hail cabs, and write down the registration numbers without asking. Little things like this make this hotel stand above the rest. On this visit the hotel provided the Pacquiao fight on a big screen, with free food and drinks!. Look at no other hotel. This hotel has it all.

Very Impressive, Great Location, Rooms Fantastic”
In short, I am definitely coming back to this hotel again. I love the location in Salcedo Village. It's in a residential area that has lots of restaurants, bars, spas, etc yet still pretty peaceful area that feels safe to walk around at night. Big plus is that it's near the Farmer's market held on weekends. For tourists, it's also a 15 minute walk from Greenbelt and all the other shopping needs one might have. I was pleasantly surprised when my taxi came up to the Picasso. It was one of the least expensive (at the time in October) rooms that had free wi-fi in Makati. The lobby was stunning. The employees look like they stepped off a runway for of a modernist theme designer. I was escorted upstairs, and the bellperson showed me how to "use" the room. The lamps are one of those lamps that you just touch on any part of the surface and it lights in gradations. He showed me how to use the safe, the cable, and pointed out the hotel services. There's a gourmet resto downstairs and a spa connected which provides room service for hotel. I got a standard suite. Room was big, very clean, and very well appointed. Very impressed with the attention to detail. The colors, the paintings, the layout, the furniture (especially the chaise lounge by the balcony), and the bathroom. Magazines and newspapers on desk. This is both a hotel and a place for longer stays, so many suites have a stovetop range and sink. I also really liked the gym. Again, nice layout and lots of natural light. The treadmills were esp. nice, and set in a lofted area above the weights section. Overall, I give the place a stellar rating. The one disappointment was the food. I ordered room service because I wanted to relax for the night instead of going out. The food is pricey and just fair. There are lots of great food options (of varying price ranges) that I recommend one go out to eat.

Picture perfect”
This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who is employed by a large international hotel group and I trusted her opinion. I'm glad I took her recommendation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Picasso to anyone else. I will be back on my next visit to Makati. In typical Filipino way, the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed. All staff were helpful, patient and thorough. Hotel's location is good, within a clean, quite section of Makati with cafe nearby along with nice restaurants less than 100m away. Rooms are very spacious and have a simple decor of course inspired by the great Picasso himself. Room had all the amenities expected. Large comfortable bed with good pillows (something I consider important). We had breakfast included, this was okay. I would say that breakfast was typical of that you'd find in most hotels within the Philippines. Had dinner one night within the hotel and was much better. Dish didn't look big but it left me most satisfied; I only wish I had dinner there more than once. The ambiance of the restaurant is very hip along with the hotel. As I quote a famous movie line; I'll be back.

They were the cherry that made my trip WONDERFUL!!”
I wish I was a poet. This hotel was so surprisingly wonderful, that I cannot stop smiling when I think about it. I had transferred from a subpar hotel. This hotel happened to be across from my favorite saturday open market. I gave it a try. What an amazingly unexpected experience. From the moment you check in where they hand you a hotel to the artwork handing on every floor. There is even an onsite Art Gallery. This hotel has class and style. Take a picture in the well styled lobby reading nook! The rooms were very well furnished and not with std hotel furniture. Did i mention the lamps are all touch sensitive? The high tech geek in me was giddy. I even visited the 2 story boutique gym with 2 story glass window. Our visiting guests were so impressed, they would not leave. After dropping us off they came to check out the hotel and well, they stayed over after a late night. The staff was so nice they brought extra pillows and in the morning without even asking, they left us extra water when they saw our guests. These were my girl cousins so they felt like a little pampering time I guess. The hotel setup a spa appt for me and well, the ambiance there was also first class. This was totally unexpected for Manila. I have stayed at all the best hotels and this boutique hotel I have never used was by far and away the best of them all. So after the spa I came back and again used the best shower in Manila. There were multiple shower heads, bright lighting and frosted glass. The hotel staff informed us they could also bring a small table and chairs to the room if we wanted to eat with our guests. This is a wonderful spot. Ill be back. I also found the new area exciting. Lastly, wifi is supremely important to me for work and my voip phone. My only concern is they will raise the rates. Perhaps after this review the manager will extend special grandfathered rates to me

Excellent boutique hotel at the heart of Makati”
My fiance, his sister and I needed a place to camp out during the storm that hit Manila. As power outages hit the city, we needed a place with constant electricity, fast internet speed and basement parking. We chose Picasso as it was a new, boutique hotel we've always wanted to try out. It also offered free wifi. The hotel has a modern, stylish, cohesive design from the lobby to your room. Everything was very clean and there was ample space for us and our things. There was a wifi router in the room itself so our internet connection was good. The hotel is at the heart of Makati Central Business District so if you plan to go shopping, the malls are just 5 minutes away by cab. The hotel staff were all very friendly.

Classy, spacious. Home.”
It was my second time to stay at Picasso. This time we used 2 1 bedroom suites to prepare for our wedding. The staff were very accomodating, ushering in our wedding suppliers and guests to our rooms. They were attentive and considerate, giving in to our requests. Note: The 1 bedroom suite doesn't really have a door to close the "bedroom". There is an artsy wall partition. One suite we booked had the bath tub outside the shower and toilet area. The suite has a mini kitchen, ref, ample closet space, 1 office table with 1 chair, a large sofa, coffee table, big TV, big bed and 2 side tables. We also had a balcony with access from the living area and another balcony with access from the "bedroom". When we came back from the wedding reception, the general manager sent sparkling wine to our room as a wedding present :) I really love Picasso. That building was where I wanted to live before it was converted into a hotel. It is a really nice boutique hotel filled with artsy touches. Worth the price! Especially when booked through Agoda!

Best Value for Money hotel in manila”
This is my six visit to manila, but this is my first time staying in Picasso Boutique Service Residence. It really exceed my expectation at the moment I check into the room. Consistently excellant”
We have used the Picasso frequently on trips to Manila and always receive a warm welcome from the young but very professional staff that are willing to go out of their way to help. The Picasso is located in the upscale Salcedo Village section of Makati very near a nice park ring by beautiful condos. There are many very nice restaurants and coffee shops very near the hotel, including a small boutique market with a sit down deli.

Hidden Treasure in the Heart of Makati”
The studio is relatively spacious. The bed is a Canadian Queen (although I believe you can choose two twin beds as an alternative). All three of us fit comfortably in the bed - my husband, my 8-year-old daughter, and me. Upon entering the room, I was delighted. The room was tastefully decorated with Picasso-inspired elements. The boutique hotel also has an art gallery featuring some of the finest artworks (by local artists) we have seen. This boutique hotel is located in the heart of Makati City. Taxis abound in this area as well as coffee shops such as Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Starbucks. There are convenience stores around the corner and small bars for your drinking pleasure.

Great as usual”
This is my second time to stay in Picasso Hotel. As you may probably realize from its name, the hotel is really a cozy and stylish one. The spacious Barcelona Suite consists a large living room, an over-sized bathroom, a practical little kitchen and for sure a comfortable king size bed. I am especially fond of the design and furniture inside the room. The room is very clean and the bathroom amenities are good enough too. Picasso Hotel locates in the business centre of Makati, it is around 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main shopping area. I will definitely return to Picasso Hotel when I visit Manila next time.

Best value for money hands down”
I've stayed at Picasso many times over the past two years and keep coming back because it's much better in comparison to most other hotels of this level. The rooms are mostly white, modern, and very spacious and have a balcony as well. The bathroom is also very nice, especially for the suites! Everthing is a plus at this hotel and they have promos from time to time but Agoda rates are on average better than other sites. The food is quite good but room service is only until 11pm. The room service is sometimes not quite accurate but I haven't experienced any serious problems so far (e.g. Forgot to bring spoon or sugar or something like that.) unlike some other places I've been to. I've had some nightmarish encounters with hotels/condos/residences that looked fine in pictures but were terrible when I stepped into them. Picasso is exactly as it is shown in the pictures and I would stay here again definitely!
