Wonderful stay and memories”

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pines Melaka, especially Hotel Manager, Mr. Mohd Aqmal for a very memorial and wonderful stay. We celebrated my fiancee birthday at the hotel and Mr. Mohd Aqmal went beyond his call of duty to make sure that my fiancee birthday celebration went without a hitch. Everything went so smoothly that we were very happy with the outcome. Thank you, Mr. Aqmal, for everything. You made our day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again not only because of the hospitality given to us, but also all the other factors like clean room, good location, good facilities and best of all, value for money for having the biggest room in Malacca. Best regards, Lesster L.

We are impressed!”

My daughter and I like spacious room. This is one of the reason we chose The Pines. And it is in the heart of Malacca city, convenient, easy access to historical attraction places and food outlets. An incident happened on the night of our stay. My daughter was bathing at about 9.30pm. I dozed off but then woke up by some noise. Someone above my floor were jumping. I did try to sleep back but couldn't. Then my daughter came out from bath also complained about the jumping noise. I called to reception to make the complaints. The hotel staff changed my room to executive floor. And the duty manager said the guests who stayed above my room were playing with bouncing ball! We were pleased with the hotel's swift response to our complaints and request to change room. To me, I am impressed with their actions.

Great value, large room”

It was our first time at The Pines Melaka. I normally book either The Equatorial or The Hatten Malacca. I was traveling with my family plus two friends who were visiting from Barcelona. We're both are really impressed with the big rooms, the swimming pools and the hotel as a whole. A bit far too walk to all major sights, but we had a car with us, so there's not a problem. We will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

Best Hotel in Malacca”

Welcoming environment at the lobby with friendly and ready-to-serve staffs. The lemongrass fragrant at the lobby is very soothing. Quick check-in even though long queue, 6 staffs working at the front office. Spacious, clean, cold room with good house keeping facility. Delicious food delivered to room (room service). Located at strategic location, walking distance to the Jonker Street. Clean swimming pool at open air rooftop. Great getaway hotel for family with kids as well as couple or business person. Great value for money. Will never stay other hotels other than The Pines Hotel in Malacca. We will be back!

Spacious and clean room. Friendly and efficint service.”

We visit Melaka for kids swim competition twice a year and this is the first time we switched from other hotel to The Pines. We are impressed with almost everything about The Pines hotel. The reception counter was friendly and speedy in getting us registered. Despite there are almost 30 floors with 4 lifts operating, we do not need to wait long for the lift to arrive whenever we need to use it. When we open the door of the room, we were impressed with the big, clean and spacious room. There is small kitchen top with small dining table. A spacious and comfy sofa was available too. However, the bathroom is a little too cramped as it was small. However, we loved the shower which was equipped with nice warm bath and good water pressure. We were also thankful to the hotel reception for granting us late check out with the understanding that our event ended only by 1pm and the kids managed to have a quick bath before leaving for KL. We will definitely come back. TQ!

Luxury comfort with a budget”

What you see in the pictures shown is what you get. The room is clean, tidy, bathroom spacious with bathtub and separate shower area, like it's so spacious different people can shower and bath at the same time (only if you don't mind being seen) and there is still plenty of room. 1. Room - Our room has a balcony facing the melaka river cruise. At night, the view is just breathtaking. and it's windy. pour yourself a cup of wine and just enjoy the city night view 2. Complimentary service - we stayed in the executive floor and were entitled to complimentary English afternoon tea daily. Don't expect fancy things like macaron or madeleine, it's still complimentary item. The hotel is sincere enough to serve it on a beautiful three tier tray. We really felt surprisingly welcomed. 3. Buffet Breakfast - Yes, the breakfast hour is really crowded, you need to queue a bit to wait for table to get inside. that's because it's worth it! their breakfast is delicious, none of those weird tasting hotel food. Nasi lemak is serve with generous choice of rempah ayam goreng (local fried chicken), curry chicken and nyonya chicken. and the replenishment of food is efficient. 4. Shuttle service - The hotel provides shuttle service to Jonker Street and Dataran Pahlawan (shopping mall). This is definitely a great service as Melaka town is always jam and finding parking a hassle. Remember to pre-book your seats if you're planning to take the shuttle. Overall, it's really one of the best hotel I have stayed in. Given the high occupancy, the management and staff still kept the whole place organized, clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit Melaka!

Hotel with a personal touch”

I love The Pines! I was pleasantly surprised when they gave out small goodies bags for kids in the lobby after breakfast hours. This is something which I have never experienced in other hotels! Even though it's just a small token, but kids being kids, they love any kind of gifts! Thumbs up for that! The staffs were also friendly and helpful. I didn't know that i was supposed to register for the river cruise 45mins prior to boarding, but the staff took the trouble to arrange it for my family of 5. Thank you! The swimming pool was also great! They provide floats for the kids too! Happy kids, Happy me! So I would definitely stay there again next time I come to Malacca.

Great for stay at hotel with kids while our spouse is having meeting/work elsewhere”

This is my 2nd time staying at the Pines with same situation, i have to take care of my 2 kids (5 & 2yo) while my wife is having meeting elsewhere. Since we could only spend our time together after office hour, the pool operating time that is up to 9.00pm suit us very well. Salt water pool, kids playground & plenty of space to play around & great view of the city from the 8th floor. While my wife is at work..it is also easy to take care of the kids, because when it goes down to food other than the hotel restraunt there are alternatives at the opposite building (AIA). There is also one 7 Eleven shop nearby. At night, if you want to try Asam Pedas Melaka, Asam Pedas Power Abg Piee Jln Puteri Hg Li Po (recommended, fresh fish can choose) is only few kilometres away. Other plus points: 1) Breakfast is free for the kids below 12yo (while most hotel already charge for kids 5yo+ or higher than 90cm) 2) Room comes with kingsize bed + sofa bed (comfortable for my 2 kids).

Great hotel with beautiful clean rooms”

Checked in smoothly without any hassle. Free carpark redemption for hotel guests. Room was huge n clean with awesome view at a high floor. Breakfast stations were refilled promptly even when nearing closing. Many other hotels we been to, will not refill stations as they worry about wastage but not at The Pines. Staff were friendly and helpful even when very busy during school holidays. Will choose this hotel again when we return to Malacca.

Overall ok”

We like to stay at Pines Hotel whenever we went to Malacca, great hotel and because we like to eat Roti John and Asam Pedas at Erra Roti John, not far from this hotel. When we opened the door, there was unpleasant smell inside the room, and lucky the smell went away few minutes after we switched on the aircond. We went out and when we back, the smell still there before we turned on the aircond. The housekeeping forgot to clean under the cupboard because the rubbish maybe from previous guest still there. Other than that, everything was fine and the breakfast was good. We will consider to stay in this hotel again in future.

Exceptional”

Stayed here once few years ago. This time around not much of difference. Still excellent. One of four elevators were closed (not sure what reason), but the working three are fast. Even staying on 28th floor (top floor) does not need much delay in waiting as the elevator speed is fast. Same elevator goes to the carpark from the guest rooms. Guest rooms floor only accessible by access card. Same room access card can be used for car park which is very convenient. Room is good. Bathroom is spacious with a tub. Did not use the tub however as I noticed some dirt stuck along the tub walls, scared not hygienic. The bathroom has a window overseeing the malacca city. Imagine being in the tub looking over the night skyline. That would be nice. Water pressure is adequate despite staying on the top floor. Usual local tv channels including few Astro channels and vision four channels.

Nice & affordable place to stay when in Melaka.”

Nice & clean hotel with friendly staffs. We stayed in Premier King Suite & so lucky that our room was at the 28th floor where there’s a great view of the entire city. We had a buffet breakfast at The Oak restaurant & serves different varieties of sumptuous fine foods. I suggest that you arrive a bit early or a bit late when you eat breakfast or else you’ll have to queue up & wait for vacant tables, but still fine because the staffs was really accommodating & have worked so fast to clean up all the tables so you can seat & eat right away. Overall, I am very satisfied with my 3D2N stay in The Pines & will definitely come back with our next trip to Melaka :)

Clean, Spacious, Pleasant, Enjoyable”

Large Rooms, Ample Carpark, Nice Pool Area

My family enjoy our stay at The Pines very much. The large, spacious room we booked far exceeded what we were expecting. We were happy to be given a high floor which overlooked much of the city. Our kids spent a lot of time just looking at the world go by out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff were friendly. Room Cleaning done when requested. All in all, we were very satisfied. We will recommend The Pines to anyone who is visiting Melaka. Thank you!

Superb! Thumbs up!”

Super comfortable beds. Quiet floor. Polite, smiley, efficient staff.

Excellent stay. Except it is not within walking distance to any of the shopping malls I planned to visit. They are only accessible by car. Requested for super single beds as one of my guy friends is tall. However, request is not met hence, his feet hang out at the foot of the bed during the stay. Did not expect floor to be spotlessly clean as some of my previous trips told me otherwise. My friend was praising how big, how clean, how comfortable he is during the 3 days stay. I am definitely choosing The Pines if I ever visit Malacca again.

Honest housekeeping Staff”

For my family trip in Melaka, I chose The Pines Melaka as my little niece love to swim thus booked 1 Pool Suite for my 1st Brother n family of 3. 2 more booking for Deluxe rooms to he included. Was told by 1 staff that the hotel is Ard 1yr + old, housekeeping well-maintained. The Deluxe rooms are spacious n Big, with a sofa chair, n olso dining table n kitchenette with a sink. It's awesome for a Deluxe room. My Folks love the rooms that they gotten. After we check out, n proceed to KL for our next Accommodation... My 1st Bro n wife jz realised that they left behind their SONY Tablet @the Pines Melaka. My SIL made a call to the hotel line, n was informed that the item was found n kept for safe-keeping. We rushed back fr KL to collect the item at the hotel. Was attended by the counter staff n being referred to Mr Richard nt long after. Verification of documentation is needed and necessary before releasing the Lost n Found item. Enquired abt the Housekeeping Staff who found the item, bt she was nt in duty that day. AMIRAH is the Housekeeping Staff who found the item in room 07-08. The tablet that kept my little niece accompany watching her cartoons n it has lots of her baby photos in it.... Thank you so much Ms AMIRAH. Our sincere heartfelt Thanks to Ms AMIRAH once again. Hope to see u in person the next time we stay there. Great job done, I'm sure the Pines Melaka are Lucky to have you on board with them as a Team member. Everything is so pleasant”

I had my 3 days 2 nights stay with The Pines and this is our 2nd time of stay with The Pines Melaka. Everything is so pleasant except during check out day - lift is fully occupied while 1 is out of service among the 4 and no social distancing at all in the lift that everyone squeeze in the lift without SOP and being thoughtful during this pandemic. Therefore I walked down from the highest floor (28th floor) to G floor to do my check out. Maybe something to improve from the hotel.

Great experience especially when they gave cash voucher as complimentary. Should do more often”

Pines being different by giving us cash vouchers for our stay, that is truly different than ALL my hotel stays. The room is very spacious, value for money of course. The food was great but hope they could increase the food spread. We had dine in with the vouchers given, and that encourage us to buy another round of food because the food quality was awesome. Should do more often, as this is also another way to promote your good food quality. Your swimming pool area definitely awed me, as that was my first time seeing an awesome setup especially for family. I would like to suggest Pines to give more similar offers like what I had previously or better, especially to those returning customers like me. I love how the frontliners greet and welcome us. The Pines deserves good credit for this. I only had a slight bad experience during checkout where there was a delay but it is understandable. Should increase more counters or staff, or perhaps figure out a way for express checkout.

Fantastic ”

Many parking bays for guests and very near to the lobby lift. Security guards were very good and helpful. Many counter open to process guests check-in and it's quite fast. All the staffs are very kind and politely. The room is so big and clean. The maintenance and the decorations of the hotel is very nice. There's no waiting lift problem. The hotel is just next to 7eleven, shell station, and a minute drive can reach River Cruise Jetty. I'm so satisfied and had a happy stay in the hotel. I'll choose back The Pines Hotel for my next holiday to Melaka. *The lobby should extend more bigger to put more sofa seat for guests.
