The room was clean, tidy, simple and warm. We loved the friendliness of the owner and the long-term tenant. We shared our breakfast, and in return, we tried homemade bread from the bush. We loved staying there. We can recommend a place that likes friendly people. The locals are helpful, and it is just refreshing after a busy city.
The bathroom and toilet were shared.

The property is shared accommodation and the room was beautifully presented, inviting and was very cost. Our host Dale was amazing. we booked last minute (7.30pm on a Friday night) and we were there 15 mins later. the room was ready to go even on such short notice.
it was exactly as advertised. there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

classic old former accommodation for traveling nurses - close to Walgett airport and clean. great value for money. big shared kitchen with cooking items, fridge, and bathroom. heat and good aircon.
nothing to not like for $80. all good and superb service by Dale and Wendy, the owners. they picked me up at airport, and dropped me off next day. no other hotel would do that and there’s no taxi in town. they treat their customers like family!

The room was bigger than I thought it would be, the bed was comfortable.
I knew it was a shared bathroom, but I didn&#39;t expect other people to be able to come in when you were in there! The sitting room was very hot and had no lighting that we could find!

Comfort that is few and far between out in that part of the woods, best Value for money in the area and the location is perfect situated on the main road through Walgett! If you are looking for a base to explore Grawin Opal fields and beat the touristy hustle and bustle of Lighting Ridge The Pink House is perfect.. or if you are just passing threw they have flexible check-ins, a cosy room and a clean, comfortable bed! The Pink House is my go to from now on when traveling in that neck of the woods! Thanks for having us again Wendy! See you again soon!
