Valued for Money!
This time i traveled solo. 8 hours flight from Singapore. I was in Brisbane for a solid week staying at PIXY B&B for a valued for money rate. Rented a car from the airport which is just approx 25 mins drive. Love its location! Basically PIXY B&B is flexible. From my point of view, it can accommodate to family vacation , business, couple & solo travel like me. Staying there gave me the relax time out from the busy noisy town environment. The place is also near big supermarket , shopping mall kinda and fast food areas which is about 5 mins drive along the street - >MOUNT OMMANEY< if you bringing the kids, go to >LONE PINE KOALA SANCTUARY< the kids will love it & you will too. trust me.. just approx 10 mins drive away. Go to >MOUNT COOT-THA LOOKOUT< drive there for day & night experience 12 mins drive away where you can see the entire Brisbane awesome view. From my honest point of view, the place was great as it was cozy, quiet feel like home kinda feeling. I chose it because of the price basically but it turned out way better than i expected. The parking is FREE (for the rented car), Wifi is FREE ( to google places of attractions and etc), The Breakfast is FREE ( save your cash ).. They have swimming pool at the back where you can swim & relax especially with the kids. The room was spacious and super clean. When i say clean it is really clean. sorry but am the fussy type. Well, you know Singaporeans. My room was on the 2nd floor where you can view a glimpse of mountains from there. super relaxing! The roomed cleaned daily. They have a living room for television too with DVDs, a comfy place like home to relax. A dining table for breakfast near the kitchen. Wish i can add in my photo experience of the place here. But never to worry, the lady -Ms GINA who will always be there is friendly and a kind soul. She will help you through anything. i was briefed there on my first day. & saw here did the another mate who got in there too. She highlights the places you want

Double Room with Shared Bathroom
Stayed 8 nights in March 2016
Both bathrooms had work done to them at the same time, which left us without a facility.
We were given half an hours notice that the main bathroom was having work done. But when I needed a loo, the ensuite was also out of order. She didn't allow me to use a downstairs facility. We found her very noisey in the mornings getting the breakfasts organised. The location was handy for buses, but it is a good 20 minute walk to the supermarket and mall. This made it a little difficult when buying our groceries for our meals. We found the woman a little unhelpful at times too. I needed to borrow a cheese grater and she was reluctant to lend it to me. Then I needed a container to put the grated carrot into so I didn't have to ask for the grater again. She was reluctant again to lend this to me. I would have thought those types of things would be readily available to guests in the first place, without having to ask! We found the woman to be very prejudiced with some of her comments and that made me very uncomfortable! To end on a high note, we loved the accommodation and it's surroundings. We were in a room with our own access and deck. This neant we could watch the local bird life etc. and enjoy the view. I would not recommend this accomodation to any of my friends.

Gina is a great host. We had a small but immensely comfortable bedroom with a shared bathroom. A continental breakfast was a great start to the day.

Not happy with the accomodation.
Great hot shower, friendly ,helpful service
Too noisy from not enough insulation and from both our rooms we were woken up in middle of night from patrons above. There was no hand towel or bath mat and no top sheet in either rooms,so my friend and I had to ask for one and then put it on ourselves. It was more like a guest house than a B.and B. My friend and I had breakfast in Gina's own kitchen but she was helpful in letting us make our own gluten free toast.
