Located in the center of Seoul, The Place Seoul Hanok Guesthouse is a traditional Korean culture center offering traditional, eco-friendly Korean tea and various seminars, along with a small garden. Our 'hanok' (Korean traditional house) has a beautiful garden and provides three rooms that guests can stay.
The Place Seoul Hanok Guesthouse funds and supports NGOS which support worldwide eco-friendly agriculture and healthy eating campaigns such as 'WWOOF KOREA' and 'Korean Slow Food Association'.
The guest rooms are neatly kept and are furnished with air conditioning, heating, as well as free Wi-Fi. Guests sleep on traditional futon bedding upon a heated wooden floor, with en suite bathrooms for some rooms.
We are located near public transportations (bus and subway), so you can easily come from Incheon International Airport or go to other central places in Seoul. The Place Seoul Hanok Guesthouse is located 7 minutes on foot from Bukchon Hanok Village, 2 minutes from Changdeokgung, and 15 minutes from Gyungbokgung and Insa-dong Street. By car, The Place Seoul Hanok Guesthouse is located 15 minutes from Dongdaemoon and Myungdong, 1 hour from Incheon Int'l Airport, and 45 minutes from Gimpo Int'l Airport.
We are a part of Bukchon Hanok Village, so there are numerous cafes and restaurants in our neighborhood; unlike most parts of Bukchon Hanok Village, we are located in a quiet side of the neighborhood, so you will be able to take a good rest at night. Near us, there are many Korean monuments to visit, including Chang-deok palace and Gyung-bok palace!
