Amazing Hostel”
This is the best hostel I've stayed in by far. Beds are huge and comfortable, the facilities are spotless and cleaned regularly throughout the day, it's super quiet and chilled if that's what you're looking for and the staff are amazing. Every staff member always says hello and are really polite, they always ask how you are and if there's anything they can get you and they always have good conversation. The owner was very kind and was always asking if I was ok and if there was anything I needed just to let him or his team know. It was more like staying in a hotel with shared facilities as they provide you with fresh towels every few days, shampoo and shower gel when requested and bed changes. They even provide tea and coffee in the kitchen for free. I can't recommend staying here enough as you are so well looked after and you're guaranteed a good night's sleep. Thanks to the whole Pod team for making my last time in Sydney very comfortable

High standard hostel ”
It was the best hostel I‘ve ever had it‘s also one of the more expensive ones but definitely worth it if you want a little bit more privacy during your travel. The service is also really good they provide towels, shampoo and shower gel and you can hire a hair dryer for free. But the best are the „bunk beds“ which are actually like little rooms and really big and stable. The only negative thing is that the showers are closed for cleaning between 9 and 11 pm which is a quite busy time and it would maybe be better at a different time. It’s a really tidy hostel they clean the fridge everyday and throw your food away on your check out day (or if it’s not labeled) unfortunately I wanted to take my food out of the fridge when I grab my bag from the luggage room but they already threw it away that’s a bit too quick I think.

Location and Comfort”
The Pod is a few minutes walk away from Museum Station which has a direct link to the airport (domestic and international). After a whole day of exploring Australia, the pod is really a good place to have a relaxing night. It's very quiet. No one speaks inside their rooms as respect to others who are already taking their rest. You can also cook your own food and store some of your groceries in the fridge. There is a supermarket (Coles) just across the street where you can do your groceries. A 711 is also a few walks away from the Pod in case you need to buy something during the wee hours. The toilet and shower area are very clean too. I will definitely stay here again!

The BEST”
Gong provides next level customer service you would be happy to find in a classy hotel. Great simple design with an awesome kitchen @ the heart of things, which fosters a friendly community vibe. But it's certainly not a party vibe. It's all about relaxing and setting you up for the day, and everyone is respectful to this. Your little cubby space is spacious, comfy with a curtain to block off light. Location is fun and bustling but I'm an extremely light sleeper, however those putty earplugs that are like plasticine block it all out. You can find them in the chemist over the road, along with a supermarket and there's a vast array of restaurants for all budgets whichever direction you choose to walk. Saves me a fortune compared to hotels which can be invested into my business, but I'm sure you have more interesting things than this and with Central Station 8 min walk; you can get to where the fun may be. Enjoy.

Comfortable and clean”
Clean facilities and bedding, the mattress is super plush and comfortable You do feel very safe in the womens only room, there are cameras and travellers are respectful of each other's space. The kitchen is very clean, there are communal utensils and it is well stocked with the basics Cons are it's hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper, little noises can wake you up if you live in such close proximity to others Overall, good value for money and great for a place to crash if you get stranded in the city due to turbulent weather conditions

Perfect place to stay on a budget and travelling solo!”
This is my second time staying in The Pod Sydney and I have to say my experience living here has improved compared to my previous visit with better staff experience. Amenities, cleanliness and resting experience has continue to be top notch and would recommend anyone staying here if you're traveling solo (or a couple) and on a budget and don't feel like spending too much money staying in a hotel that could cost two or three times the price.

It is neat and clean, the toilet is clean and there have water heater, there is a kitchen to cook food by yourself, and there is a `COLES`market on the opposite side. I often buy food and cook it. The kitchen is also very intimate to prepare a large refrigerator for the guests, let us store food, I just like the kitchen here. Great for backpackers

Quiet, clean and superb location”
I needed a place to stay after a concert so I chose this place after reading guest reviews. The hostel is close to Museum & Townhall stations and there is a mall nearby. Area seems quite safe (I walked around midnight). The bed and toilets are clean. It's cool that there is a curtain for each pod (ensure some privacy).

Value for Money indeed and super friendly staff”
This hostel is nicely situated at the heart of CBD in Goulburn St right across World Square. Walking distance to LRT, Chinatown and Townhall Train Station. A lot of convenience store nearby plus Coles in World Square. Rooms are very clean including the common area and the shower areas too. Not to mention the staff are uber nice.

Exceptional ”
This place is absolutely fantastic. Spotlessly clean; big private capsules; WiFi in the rooms that works (unlike the YHA hostels making you pay for it); great kitchen; plenty of showers; friendly staff; great location... I just can't fault it. Don't waste your time and money on the YHA hostels as this place is so much more comfortable and value for money.

This is really the best Hostel for me in Sydney!”
It’s quite clean and the rooms are quiet. People can chat,cook and eat in the common area. The staffs are also pretty kind and helpful. And there’re curtains in every bunk, so it’s private. It’s the perfect one(at least for me). DO REMEMBER to ask for a extra blanket if you feel cold.

I stayed one night though, the room, shower booth and toilet werr very clean and they were like brand new. the staff was so friendly and kind. He let me know when the bus time was also I could put my luggage and leave even I already checked out! Appreciate it.

It is located in very convenient place close to Central Station and also Museum Station. Plus it’s close to the supermarket too. Staffs are all kinds and they keeps this accommodation clean. Since each bed has own curtain so I could have a private space and really relaxed.

I can fault anything in this hostel. I live the staff service, cleanliness and you can’t beat the location. I booked for a private room for even cheaper price that mixed dorm bed in some hostel…and it came with a view!! Could not be happier with my stay in Sydney. Highly recommended!

It's really great”
It's to the Pod's immense credit that I enjoy staying here more than the fancy hotels I've stayed in. It just goes to show when you get a place right, it just works. I think a big part of that is the nice, modern design of the hotel and its layout. It looks really good and feels spacious, everything flows really well into each other, the kitchen, the lounge, the bathrooms, it's really well designed. The beds and individual "pods" work well too. Because they have large single mattresses they feel roomy enough, they have a good bedside lamp and two powerpoints, everything you need. I have stayed at the nearby Capsule Hotel a couple of times and while I really like it, it's very good also, The Pod is a bit more comfortable and my powerpoint w

Very clean and quiet hostel”
I stayed for 2 days, there were regular cleansing period, so the public area and toilets were clean. Everyone behaved well in public area, the cooking facilities were excellent. The special highlight was the bed--soft and clean, that just like a "warm house".

Best accommodation of this type in Sydney CBD”
I stayed here recently (12-18 Nov). On arrival I was greeted by a friendly lad "Gong, I was treated with the utmost respect and made feel really welcomed. This facility was very clean, rooms were efficient and the added privacy with a curtain around your bed was an added bonus. There was also a bed light and power points within reach in your particular bed which was great. I was never once made feel anything but welcome and Gong went above and beyond to ensure my stay was stress free. This lad Gong is an assett to this property and I ensured he knew I wouldn't hesitate to not only recommend *The Pod*, I'll be back myself as I found it to be nothing but a pleasant experience.

It’s a super clean and comfortable hostels, plus point if you’re a solo traveller wanna save some money you can get your groceries and go back to the hotel and cook! They provide clean towels and soap for you as well

Clean, quiet, comfortable ”
I like the convenient location of the hostel. The beds were comfortable and it was generally quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. At night, you may be able to hear music from the bar at level 1, but it is very minimal.
