Excellent Value & Location in PROCTORSVILLE not LUDLOW”
Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds/rooms, well-maintained, nicely-appointed. Facilities are not the most modern, but nice & cozy, spacious and tastefully done in an older, traditional style. Comfortable lobby/sitting area & fireplace. Pool is a little small, but warm and well-maintained. Extra classy touches include double sheeting, quality pillows, pillow-top beds, and down/fluffy comforters. Great restaurants and cute stores very close by. Shuttle to Okemo is very convenient. Didn't get to go inside the "castle" or use the spa, but they look beautiful from the outside. I am definitely planning to come back, both for hiking and skiing. Thank you Staff at The Pointe for a wonderful stay - I look forward to a long, happy relationship for years to come! IMPORTANT NOTE: Hotel is located in PROCTORSVILLE not LUDLOW, as shown on my Agoda reservation confirmation form. Also, T-Mobile gets no signal in this area. Only negative - no safe in the room.

Not handicap friendly”
The rooms were huge and some attempts were made to be handicap accessible in elevator, space, and higher toilet. Staff was very accommodating within the facility limitations. but not for bathing the tub was high no handheld and pool steps are much higher than normal. Rail into pool was slightly loose. Breakfast buffet was good and convenient servers very attentive.

I like the location not ski in ski out but close enough. 7 min drive. My kid likes going to the pool & hot tub after skiing. The rooms are comfortable. I don't love their pillows (too hard) but I brought my own this time (2nd time). The staff gives good recommendations. The first time they had muffins and granola bars this time they didn't have any snacks. :( I don't like the inconsistency of this because it leads to disappointment. There is a water refill station which is nice. Breakfast is not being served at this location due to covid. I will stay here again.

Good central location”
Tracking the fall foliage more closely, we decided 2 weeks before our stay to shop for the hotels and luckily found this one (our stay started on Thursday and so that I think helped). Coming from northern NJ, this was definitely a good spot for us to cover foliage in 2 days. Depending upon the layout, it looked like the place used to serve breakfast but we weren't that lucky due to Covid as they had stopped and locked that area on second floor. The rooms were average sized with refrigerator and the receptionist were helpful with guiding restaurants, places and even with Microwave for our little kiddo. Good vibe overall...

This hotel was adequate for a weekend stay. Our room was clean, quiet and dark for quality sleep! It did not provide any kind of breakfast, which was disappointing and inconvenient for those wanting to hit the slopes without needing to seek out food or bring your own, which we did. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Works well for us”
This was our second Christmas family vacation here. It has good units with full kitchen, bedroom, living room, dining area. Modest but adequate pool, hot tub, gym., game room. Good for the family. Not a lot going on at nights. If you are looking for nightlife, Ludlow is pretty close. About 5-10 minutes from Okemo, so convenient for skiing there. But it is 1 hour from Killington. So if you want to ski Killington primarily, this is not your place. All said, we like it and probably be back next Christmas.

I spent about 220 a night for a king room that was very average. Room was fine but comparable to a chain hotel for a lot less money.

I thought it was a great place to stay. I do think they should offer breakfast at least a muffin and coffee as there are very few places around that have breakfast ( no restaurants) only a very formal expensive pace for dinner
