Great location but Lousy sound proofing in rooms ”
Pros: location was quite central in between 2 stations, a short 10 mins walk away. In a quiet part of town. Cons: room sound proofing is really bad, and watching TV at normal volume resulted in us getting complaint two nights in a row. Even when we lowered it to a very soft volume, and it was the first time we encountered such complaints!! Aircon /heater is centrally controlled and kept fluctuating and created a lot of inconvenience. Room was really tiny as typical of London hotels, and there was no walking space left with one luggage open. Toilet is even tinier and the showering stall feels cramped even for skinny Asians like ourselves. Front desk staff were really unfriendly and gave us attitude all the time.
The Premier Notting Hill is in a great location. It's about an 8-10 minute walk from the train station and 3 stops form Oxford Circle. The rooms aren't very spacious but they are very nice and clean. The staff was also very friendly and immediately tended to all of our needs.
Exactly what we needed ”
Great place to stay while in London seeing a performance at the royal Albert hall. Doesn’t break the bank but is clean and fine for what we needed. Staff were friendly. Location is great, nice quiet neighbourhood. Minutes walk to the nearest tube on central line so we parked at Stratford overnight. Very easy to get to. Lovely walk through Kensington palace gardens to the royal Albert hall. Couldn’t have asked for better value. Don’t book if you’re looking for trendy it’s not that but it’s nicely decorated and my partner and I were really pleased all round. We had a small room but we only needed to sleep there, probably only spent 1 hour in the room awake! Great value. Great little find. We will definitely use it again when we need an overnight stay.
Small room..not really deluxe”
Lovely staff.. room amazingly small for a deluxe room! The mattress needs a change as big dip in middle.... I struggled to walk round the bed.. shower well very dribbly... not a shower in honesty...breakfast..can't comment as not planned to have it but... it's pork free... no bacon or sausage... I didn't see this on listing but that might be my error.. having said this it's ok to stay here . If you don't mind my feedback... we stayed one night only and didn't mention any of this to staff... but absolutely would have if more nights booked
Good location fantastic staff”
The hotel is a short walk from Bayswater tube and in a good area. On arrival staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable although not large - it is an old house after all!
Fantastic location, close to underground stations; Bayswater & Queensway stations both within 5-6mins brisk walk. Helpful & friendly staff. Beautiful area. Hotel a bit tricky to locate so be careful of local scammers who offer to show you where the hotel is then expect to be paid. Happy to stay here again.
The hotel is well placed for the Kensington/Notting Hill area. The room was small but had all facilities and was clean. Breakfast was not included in the price but was over £12 so I opted not to have it. Reasonably well located for buses and underground. Staff were helpful.
I am surprised this is 4 stars hotel”
service not good, particularly the house manager is rude. I am surprised as a 4 star hotel the service can be that bad. An example would be a man came into our room in the morning without knocking the door, we were shocked and he said reception told him we requested to fix the bed, but we didn't. we feel totally not safe. Also, there is an emergency room with bright green light which bother our sleep, we asked if there is any chance the light can be covered, but house manager wrote us a letter saying " The light is right in the corner not above the bed, it really came to me as a surprise that it disturbed your sleep". It is fine the light can't be fixed, but the way she expressed is without consideration to customers. People are different and have different sensitivity to brightness of light, her opinion is indeed very subjective, and I am surprised a manager working in hotel industry treated customers like this. Not recommend this hotel, room pictures are nice but experience is bad.
A very good option for the price”
A nice hotel on a beautiful square with a local pub, and the high street close by. Our double room had a balcony which would be great in the summer. Nice, clean, cosy room, neutral decor, comfortable bed. All round, and I paid £70 for the night (excl breakfast) which I thought was reasonable.
Dishonest hotel ”
I booked the double deluxe and as stated in the details of hotel that the room is about 172 sq ft (with Malaysia dollars six hundreds plus, which is like 100 pounds plus). But when I reached my room, I was so angry that it’s too small that it hardly has space for me to open my luggage, and my luggage is just the regular 42cmx60cm in size. The room is tiny and dark (I don’t see any “premier” here). I went up and asked the receptionist but he wasn’t able to help and said wait till next morning. The next morning, I went straight to receptionist and said that’s not the room, but the receptionist was snobbish and denied everything until I showed him the details of the rooms I saw in Agoda. I said I felt cheated and if he is not doing anything about it , I will report to police. Unwillingly, he has changed another slightly bigger room to me, I just moved in (even though it’s not 172 sq ft) to avoid further dispute.
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with very friendly and helpful staff.”
The Premier Notting Hill is about 2 streets back from the busy Portobell Rd , and is a 5 minute walk to nearest underground. It really is in a lovely location and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful
Good area to stay, nice hotel”
Difficult to give a realistic assessment, we only stayed one night, arriving 11.00pm and departing 9.00am next morning, but everything went very smoothly, room very tidy, with all good clean facilities. Only down was the small double bed after we’d asked for large double. Reception staff very good.
The staff are exceptional, excellent central location & lovely & quiet and super clean. Typical of London the rooms are small & not all rooms allow you to walk around the bed (which are all only double not queen). So one side of the bed is pushed against the wall. For a single traveler this would be no issue but for a couple this can be problematic. We upgraded to a room that had foot access around the bed and had a great stay.
Great location....nicely appointed room... Good value for.money”
The hotel is located close (within a 5-10 minute walk) to both Baywater and Queensway tube stations and area attractions (Hyde Park and Notting Hill). While the room is on the smaller size, it was nicely appointed and decorated. It is great to see an iron/ ironing board inside the room.
Value for money in a great location”
That says it all, good value in a great location. We booked a larger Executive room with it’s own ensuite which was not huge but definitely more comfortable than the standard rooms. Staff pleasant and helpful. Club lounge and gym facilities no longer exist. Would recommend an Excecutive room in this hotel and would stay again.
Fab hotel. Lovely and clean very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location for Hyde park events”
Fabulous service, excellent staff. Ideal for Hyde Park Events. Only downside was that the room was on the small side, cosy not uncomfortable and the rooms were very hot. Air con would only go down to 19.
Noise from external toilet door”
The hotel could have been excellent, only that there is a public toilet right outside our door room and its used constantly, the toilet door makes noise, constant foot steps etc. The window of our room is a little bit oxidated. The rest is ok.
My partner and I staid at The Premier Nottinghill for a social weekend in London. We managed to get a 75% discount online, which made the hotel excellent value for money! The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and the room was exceedingly comfortable and very nice and clean. It also had air conditioning (a real blessing in the heat wave), and good facilities with safe, mini bar and hair dryer. The location is also very central, yet situated on a quiet street - definitely would recommend it!
Great staff and location!”
We had a little issue with our first room as the ac didn’t work properly. The next morning, the staff was super helpful and suggested we changed rooms, which we did. If you are looking for a Boutique hotel, this is not the right place for you! The decor is somewhat tired but the rooms are comfortable, clean and very close to the tube station.
Hard to fault! ”
Literally from the moment we arrived (before we got in the door) the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It’s obvious that they all care about the customer experience and it’s spotlessly clean. We will be returning for sure.
