We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and had a pleasant experience. When we arrived, the receptionists were warm and welcoming, with a special mention to Mujahit who consistently greeted us with a friendly smile and attentiveness to our requests. His excellent service truly enhanced our stay. The room was clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff is very considerate, tidying the room daily and even providing an extra floor mat without any request. One of the standout amenities was the EV charger for hotel guests, available free of charge. Each session is limited to 4 hours, but all we had to do was inform the receptionist after parking, and the process was seamless. Additionally, the hotel offers plenty of parking spaces, which was convenient and hassle-free. The location is fantastic. It's within walking distance to popular attractions like Chew's Jetty and several delicious Nyonya restaurants nearby. This made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable.

My partner and I spent a weekend at The Prestige and were impressed. The lobby staff are some of the friendliest and warmest I've ever encountered, and that is enough reason to choose this hotel. The room we were put in was nicely decorated and very clean. And there is a filtered drinking water tap in-room, which is lovely. The location of The Prestige is in Georgetown, with plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes around. The caveats? The sound insulation of the room is extremely poor, so you will hear a night club thumping away until the wee hours of the night. You might want to consider someplace else if you're a light sleeper. And the person who selected the shower tiles did not have safety in mind, because they get VERY slippery when wet. It's just an accident waiting to happen. And lastly, Penang is attracting a lot of PRC tourists, and they unfortunately have a tendency to misbehave. There was a screaming PRC woman in the corridor at 3am on both nights, and lots of slamming doors. It's not the fault of the hotel, but be warned that the clientele will not make for a peaceful night.

I would like to commend the hotel staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a shower that consistently provided hot water. I appreciated the separation between the toilet and shower area; however, the open-concept shower requires the use of curtains for privacy. While the pool is somewhat small and can get crowded during peak times, the view is absolutely spectacular. Overall, our two-night stay was fantastic, though I felt the breakfast could be improved. The taste of the food wasn't quite up to par, and I believe using authentic cereal brands instead of replicas would enhance the experience. The variety was somewhat limited, making it feel less worthwhile. Despite this, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!
