near subway ”
very convenience and clear in the hostel,
Gender divided but rly prime pods indeed”
Its got everything u need, good location, quality capsules. Note female and male r on diff floors. Luggage is stored in a common area unless u ask for a locker. Breakfast is included but its just hot dog and coffee
Loves the place, really central in Ginza.”
Amazingly friendly staff who greet you as you walk in. Amazing views of Ginza right next to the famous nissan crossing. Pods are cosy and have no trouble sleeping unless you have a loud snorerer haha. Two charging ports in the pod, tv set and a pair of head phones too. Showers were good and private and so were the toilets. Japanese style magical toilets. The bar was good but didn't drink because everyone was unsocial but eh. Prime location hence the name and will go again! Thank you.
Always wanted to try Japan's Pod concept hotel & it was a unique experience! If you just need a place to crash with much luggage, this is the place to go. sleeping are, toilets & bathroom are clean Staff are Friendly & helpful. Thank u for the great experience.
If your in Japan you have to try a pod. Bad experience though. Guests that wouldn't keep quiet all night. Had some property stolen from the common luggage room which was under CCTV. Hotel would not review footage, report to police or do anything about it. Insisted that it was not their problem and took no responsibility.
Colin from Australia”
Around the corner from the Theatre has a washing machine and dryer. pods are super clean
Nice Pods. Good Location.”
This is a great location if you want to get up early for the fish market (just a few hundred metres down the same road), and your looking for a cheaper solution in the Ginza area. Well within walking distance of the subway and closest JR train station. There is a nice lounge. Pods are well equipped with tv, a safe and cupboard space. Comfy beds.
Location was great, just across the street from the train station exit. Staff could speak English and were very friendly. Luggage area is under 24 hour surveillance and there was a floor for each gender. Cleanliness of the shower stalls can be improved. Toilet facilities were adequate but shower and sinks were not sufficient during my stay, but it was understandable due to the full capacity during the peak season. Pod was extremely comfortable, more spacious than expected! I could sit up in my pod and each one came with a locker, mirror, charging pods and tv. Overall, it was a great first experience in a pod hotel. Highly recommended!
The staff at prime pod were very accommodating and attentive. The location is excellent, conveniently located near Higashi Ginza station. There are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The luggage storage system could use room for improvement but it works either way.
compact little room... ”
Good location and friendly staff. A pod is bigger than you imagine but no "cat swinging" allowed. They're fine for a couple of nights. Was struggling by the 4th but I knew I would be. Clean and good value.
Great location, value for money stay at Ginza”
I only really just a few considerations for choosing a pod hotel: Location, cleanliness and price. If you’ve enjoyed staying at pod hotels before, then this is an excellent pick with a great location just a few minutes from the subway lines and right on Ginza’s main shopping stretch. The facilities are pretty standard as far as pod hotels go, with everything slightly cramped but clean and orderly. The pods themselves are not as new as some of the newer pod hotel properties (USB chargers, etc) but nothing to complain about if you’re properly prepared. The staff at the reception are helpful in giving information, but don’t expect a lot more than that - pod hotels are pretty self-service affairs to keep costs down. The only drawback to this one is probably because of its popularity: it’s almost always full so the shared areas are crowded, storage spaces, lockers and facilities are packed during peak hours and so is the morning bathroom rush. Still worth a stay.
Really comfortable place to stay”
Staff polite, location super near Tsukiji market, 2min from Higashi-Ginza station and 5-7min from Ginza station. 24/7 food available, convenient stores nearby. Maybe bring a small portable fan as the pod is abit warm. Not suitable for those light sleeper. Will come back again.
Location is good. Ginza station is just near the hostel building. Tsukiji market is just a few hundred metres. The negative side of this hostel is that, they don't provide locker for the luggage. The luggages are put on an open area.
VFM and Cool Hostel”
To me, this is the best hostel so far; modern facilities, sense of having everything. Easy to find, direct subway from Haneda airport, just coming out for the station, it is just right there at the corner of the big junction on the 13th floor. Surrounding is full of mini-marts and restaurants, and 5mins walk to the shopping district. Would recommend for savers who want to stay in Ginza area.
Basics for travellers”
This is a modern capsual hotel geared to young travellers. Its clean and has the basics but nothing special except location. Located in high end Ginza very close to the station. High level with great views. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast offered better off going to a convenience store.
Good capsule hotel”
Value for money: Very value for money considering there's a TV, safe box, nice pillows and great view of Ginza from our sleeping quarters. Location: Awesome location Cleanliness: Bed is clean however common area is a bit dusty and there're crumbs and tiny litters. I guess it's because it's almost 50 people sleeping in a small confined area there's bound to be some cleanliness issue Staff: Welcoming and helpful. Helped kept our chilled food and drinks in their staff fridge. Speaks english Facilities: Basic facilities are provided. Towels, toothbrush, washing machine, shower gel, hot water etc
The only problems with the hotel is the super tiny locker in the room and the sleeping space is a bit low compared with other capsule hotels I have stayed at. The " air conditioner" in the room also makes a lot of noise if you choose to turn it on. Otherwise it is an ideal choice for the value and location.
Hotel is in a convenient location”
It's close to metro station and walking distance to shopping area and red light district. Lot to see. Very clean and affordable capsule hotel. Can drop off luggage before and after check in. No need to store luggage at coin lockers. But needs to check out everyday for cleaning purpose.
Great view! Nice bed. ”
I love the fact that the city was my night light! I wish I had stayed more than 1 night. It's very near Ginza station, so commuting is not an issue. You have access to different subway lines in the station itself or a stop over. It's also smack dab in the middle of everything! If you're hungry and dont wanna order from the place, you can just go down and walk whichever direction you choose and there'd be a konbini nearby or a restaurant a half block away. Or, Tsukiji fish market is only roughly 10 min away and you can get the freshest sushi there is. Two issues, thought. First, the deluxe cabins are in the same floor as the capsules. I thought there'd be more privacy! The previous capsule/cabin hostel I stayed at had the prime cabins on a separate floor. It was quieter and more private that way. Also, the check-in time is ridiculous. 4pm? That's harsh. 3pm is reasonable, 2pm would be better. Especially if you're travelling solo. I only wanted to have rested earlier, if possible.
Great location, good price, good wifi connection”
Pro : + good location, u only need 1 train from Haneda airport to higashi ginza station and a minute walk to the hotel + elevator from subway to street, limousine bus u can walk less than 5mnts to courtyard by marriot hotel + all provided, towel, sleeping pajamas, toothbrush set, shampoo conditioner bodysoap, clean 7-8 WC + 5 shower bathroom, hairdryer cottonbud handsoap all at the wastafel, washing machine+drier, vending machine.. + big luggage, dont worry their luggage room quite nice and locked chain are provided (ask the front desk) + u dont need to check in & check out everyday, they clean their hotel 10am-4pm but ur luggage still there and even locker inside the room Cons: - useless fan inside the room, noisy and still hot, just open a little but of ur curtain to let the aircon come to ur bedcapsule, the noise even comes from fan not from ur own - a little bit dusty, can see from so meny people sneezing and while taking shower But overall i love this place!
