Surprised Xanadu with nice onsen”
Hotel located near of Ashinoko lake with view of Fuji mountain and the lake. Hotel builds indoor onsen and outdoor onsen with 41°C to 42°C. It's very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner supply Western style and Japanese style foods for choice, variable and delicious. Room is quite big and very clean bed quilt Hotel staffs are very kind, and multi languages. Hotel supplies free bus to Odawara and Motohakone-ko (check with hotel for bus timetable/location and booking). Also, there are public bus service directly from Shinjuku、Haneda Airport to the hotel. If you are from overseas and landing on Haneda Airport, the hotel is very nice for you -- enjoy、convenience and budget.

Lake-access hotel with Mt. Fuji view”
the rooms are big for Japanese standard size, well designed and equipped with all amenities. Although the location is a bit far out from the center of Ashinoko lake, there is a shuttle bus every hour going there. There is also a bus from the hotel to Odawara station, 3 times/ day, which need reservation at the reception. So it's convenience to travel there.

Beautiful holiday hotel”
If you plan to visit Hakone, go to an onsen and stay in the hotel for a few days, this is the place for you. It is located right beside lake ashinoko and you have the gorgeous view of the lake with you wake up. It has 3 restaurants all amazing but really expensive. It is also the ONLY place where you can eat in by walking distance because it is situated far from the main town in the Motohakone area. So if you are commuting it would be quite a bus ride to get some food. So I think this place is really more of to spend the rest of the days in the hotel and enjoying their amenities and facility because there is already a lot you can do in the hotel. However if you have an itinerary that includes visiting the areas around Hakone, this is not ideal because it has fewer access to the ropeway, or the town of motohakone. Nonetheless, the staff was accommodating and the place was very relaxing.

Buffet Dinner same for 2 nites ”
We booked with dinners. Our second night buffet dinner are similar to first night except the salad bar a bit different but dame as breakfast salad bar. Hence next morning breakfast we opted for Japanese set at the other block, instead of buffet BF. Hope this is improved before our next visit. We like the view at the lake, especiall in early morning with clear sky Mount Fuji is beautifully viewed. Unfirnately the second morning is raining, we can't walk along the lake and view it again.
