Fantastic Hotel for a Visit to Madrid”
Everything was perfect. I rated 4 the facilities just because it is a small Hotel with limited space, and therefore not many options, but everything is nice, clean and well taken care of. The staff is amazing and goes the extra mile to fulfill any request. The location is in the very center of Madrid, within walking distance of all amenities. Do not forget to go to the rooftop!

Excellent hotel in central location”
This is an excellent and elegantly furnished hotel where you can walk to all the monuments. Elegantly appointed rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Water was very hot and nice pressure. Only issue is that I found my room very dark (LEDs were not powerful enough) and I couldn't see anything inside the closets. Plus there were no USB chargers inside the rooms.

Wonderful stay”
I highly recommend the Principal Madrid Hotel. The location is exceptional. The hotel is in a central location, only a 10-20 minute easy walk to everything! If walking isnt for you, public transportation as well as ride share services are easily accessable. The staff is outstanding. Very available and accomodating. The roof top bar is beautiful as is the lounge/cocktail area on floor 6. Our room was comfortable and well kept. I will be returning to Madrid and The Principal Madrid Hotel will be my go to location.

Possibly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in!”
A Lovely boutique hotel situated centrally in Madrid, only minutes walk from most major attractions in Centro. The moment you walk in, your luggage is carried to your room for you. Lovely smell of the entrance and lobby at all times. So many comfortable and classy seating areas, and multiple terraces to enjoy a nice view of downtown. The room was perfect. It was serviced twice a day and we’d often return to a pleasantly surprising small chocolate gift. Beauty Items were constantly and generously replenished . (Only con was the iron board was small and it wouldn’t stand properly). The number 0 on our room door 504 was faded, and we returned to our room within half a day and it was immediately shining new. The breakfast included both a buffet with many, many options, plus an a la carte menu (omlettes, eggs benny, pancakes) that is included in your breakfast. Their continuous attention to detail just makes you feel the Principal Madrid is a class above 5 stars. We will stay here again.

Stylish public areas”
This was a return visit to this stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Madrid. Our room was well appointed but on the small side. The staff were excellent. The public areas are Lovely. Many walls are hung with old oil portraits, others with modern, Picasso-esque drawings. The restaurant is so popular we could not get a table (next time I’ll reserve in advance) but we had an outstanding meal nearby at Sra. Smith Restaurante.

Second Time Staying ”
Very private, welcoming, professional and quiet. The staff all have great attitudes and are quite helpful. The rooms are peaceful and relaxing. Only recommendation is their very expensive breakfast which is not worth the price. I have stayed in more expensive hotels with better and cheaper breakfasts.

Stunning Chic 5 Star Luxury ”
This is a stunning chic 5 star hotel with excellent service. The decor is elegant, traditional yet modern, the staff are attentive and make you feel special, the food and service are excellent, the location is convenient to everything and the vibe is trendy and quiet. The roof terrace is stunning for hanging out and the rooms are so comfortable and fabulously decorated. I would absolutely return to this hotel.

Excellent location and lovely rooms ”
Located in the middle of the main shopping street and the high end shopping area. Both are a 5-10mins walk away. Lovely deco in the dinning area (breakfast was good) , reception and outdoor dinning. Deco in the rooms were simple and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall it was a good stay!

our stay was good. the only objection we had was room service. Food quality on food service was poor and the order was incorrect. We ordered 1 three meat cannelloni and received 3 three meat cannelloni. Other than that the stay was great
