Designed for both business and leisure travel, The Raweekanlaya Bangkok is ideally situated in the popular area of Khaosan. This historic property was originally built in the late 1800’s as formal residence of the governess of His Majesty King Vajiravudh or Rama VI, the sixth monarch of Siam under the house of Chakri. The residence is also remnant of Thewet Palace which used to be located in the area.
Guest rooms at The Raweekanlaya Bangkok reflect a sophisticated interplay between modern comforts and traditional Thai décor of the Rama VI era with artistic elements including Thai poems dedicated to each guest rooms. The hotel offers guest rooms facing the city in an annex building, as well as a more tranquil and exclusive garden area.
All guest accommodations feature thoughtful amenities to ensure an unparalleled sense of comfort. Besides, the hotel's host of recreational offerings ensures you have plenty to do during your stay. The Raweekanlaya Bangkok is an ideal place of stay for travelers seeking charm, comfort and convenience in Bangkok.

Heaven in Bangkok”
Amazing butique hotel at a great location (short walk to Khao San Road). Fast check-in with welcome drink, amazing kind and helpful staff. We had deluxe room, it was good size, smelled so nice! Excellent bed. Only downside was the air con was directed at bed so we couldnt use it when sleeping and it was way too hot to sleep, had a miserable night and ended moving the bed and chairs. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.. Could be better for such a nice hotel. Coffee was really bad too. But the pool, the ambiance, the staff makes it all worth. Will be coming back! Thanks, Raweekanlaya ❤️
Love this room”
I stayed in the villa, the jacuzzi is very nice! they only have 1 room with jacuzzi so it's not easy to book. But the design is nice, room is spacious with a nice bath room. Having breakfast in the room would be nice. And they gave complimentary mini bar snacks, lovely. Really a oasis in the city.
Oasis in the town”
It's a resort in the middle of town, when u check in u won't realize that u are actually in the heart of Bangkok. Environment is very nice, staff are very helpful and polite. Room design not too bad, but breakfast wasn't so tasty perhaps they can improve on that. I like the lobby area and the welcome drinks. It's super awesome the butterfly tea! It's not so convenient unless u take grab.
Beautiful, serene location”
Beautiful hotel, lovely pool facilities, restaurant provided good quality food, relaxing spa. An oasis in Bangkok.
Good Environment ”
Location not convenient due to need always take grab or taxi. But the hotel environment is very good and relax. Staff also very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to my friend who may want have a relax trip about two or three days
A lovely oasis located in busy Bangkok”
Staff was lovely and helpful. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It really does feel like an oasis hidden away from the busy streets of Bangkok. Also, the bed in the Mattanee Superior room is one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Highly recommend. I would stay here again easily.
Beautiful first night in bangkok”
This hotel is perfect for a getaway in Bangkok. The hotel is lovely and the staff are amazingly attentive and accommodating. There’s an excellent coffee shop around the corner from the hotel, great street food along the main road, and of course taxis waiting nearby to take you wherever you may desire.
An oasis middle of Bankoks old town.”
A winner! Well maintained lovely historic property, with a garden setting filled with wildlife, that will make you forget the chaotic city outside. Still close to lot of sights and other attractions. A cab ride from the big shopping malls. Nice, clean room and an extended continental breakfast to suite us. We will definitely return.
cozy place, boutique hotel near Kaosan rd.”
We stayed here for 1 night. Everything is going well. Especially appreciate the lotion, shower gel and hair gel by Donna Chang and service from everyone in hotel. The swimming pool is very small but nice atmosphere by the trees. Im so in love with this hotel style because it's wooden building and the bed is extremely comfy. One bad thing is the location which is not nearby BTS only have to take a car or cab away.
Exquisite Garden in Bangkok”
This hotel is very beautiful and tidy, and plants in the garden are also impressive. One of the most camera friendly places in Bangkok! BTW. the shampoo smells really awesome!!! How can I buy the shampoo and body wash?
With only had one day/night at Raweekanlaya we were sorely disappointed by the hotel. I expected a cute boutique hotel and wanted to spend our day by the pool, but there was a cellphone advertisement event going on in the common area with loud speakers, dozens of staff with the cellphone company, and people yelling over microphones making our pool time miserable and far from relaxing. The staff was unapologetic about the disruptive/chaotic environment. On top of that our room was tiny and although pictured with windows on Agoda did not have any windows in the room.
Peaceful oasis in Bangkok”
A beautiful resort, completely different from your average Bangkok property. The resort has a gorgeous garden, where you can sit and enjoy lunch (sometimes...), or a herbal tea. The whole resort is pretty, the room was lovely (I stayed in the Matinee Deluxe), and the food at the restaurant is not to be missed. Its located a little out from the action, but really, its only a 15 minute walk to Khosan Rd, and minute in a Tuk Tuk to the Grand Palace and other attractions. There are bars and restauarants within walking distance, however this is a local area - not a tourist area. My stay was almost perfect. The staff were lovely. The only thing that disappointed me was that I had planned to have lunch in the garden on my last day, but the restaurant staff told me that they didnt do that (which made no sense since I'd had lunch in the garden 2 days earlier). Maybe there was a reason for the definative no I got - but it wasn't explained. Just 'no we dont do that' - which I knew to be untrue
Beautiful outdoor areas”
We had a lovely weekend here, the outside area was peaceful and serene, absolutely gorgeous. Our room was a little cozy but , well appointed. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little too firm. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, not a huge selection but what was on was good quality. Would go back there.
Lovely oasis in great location ”
Gorgeous courtyard. Everything you need including flip flops and sewing kit etc! The best hotel welcome I have ever received. Let them hail your tuk tuk s or taxis. We couldn’t get them anywhere near as cheap as they could. Lovely meals. Breakfast ... you can order eggs omelettes etc but the continental was fine though not outstanding. Would definitely go again 🤗
Great grounds with splash pool”
The grounds of the Hotel were an oasis of peace and cleanness in the old center of Bangkok. Booked long in advance and gave me two rooms (metenee superior) next to each other since I was traveling with my older kids, all good until I see I'm facing the main noisy street. Unfortunately the windows are not sound proof. The manager did the best he could to find me a solution given the peak time over New Year, but still I think they should improve their windows and not just give ear plugs to clients. The other note is about the staff, very very nice, but not effective in finding solutions when asked to help . Location is great for walking in the old center and Khosan road plus getting to the pier in 10 minutes for a boat ride along the river.
A little Gem in Bangkok ”
Amazing hotel in the heart of Bangkok, a 40 min walk to the real touristy area of the Khaosan Road , perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area but close enough to get there if need be. A little haven ...
Paradise with little mistakes. The room was noisy, because the window was not closing. I was offered a room without windows. I didnot want it. I slept with earplugs. The garden and the swimmingpool are wonderfull. The staff was nice and helpfull. The hotel is close to the Thewet Pier, so you use the expressboot to Explorer Bangkok.
The place is great and the staff very kind
Wonderful premises yummy dinner”
