Cute Historic Property in Quiet Location”
We chose the Red Feather Inn for its proximity to Launceston (and the airport) and as a leaping point for a day hike at Cradle Mountain. We are so glad we did. The facility provided everything we needed...a large, comfortable room; easy access to roads; a restaurant on site for an enjoyable dinner; parking; refrigerator and provided breakfast. The historic building and garden were extremely pleasant and the staff was very friendly. Only downside...rooms required carrying our luggage up a flight of stairs and as we were on a six week trip the bags were heavy. We would recommend the Red Feather Inn.

Cutest bedroom, excellent staff service!”
This accommodation has to be the cutest aesthetically pleasing stay. The room was so neat and clean and adorable. Upon arrival the manager checked us in and showed us to our room which you don't get these days! Theres a fabulous garden out the back and just a quick drive down the road and your in Launceston. Great value for money

All Class with nothing spared”
Everything about The Red Feather Inn spoke of class to us. From the presentation of the beautiful apartment with it's blend of old and modern features to the well maintained gardens to the wonderful chef selected evening meal Bron served to us. We have no problem recommending the Red Feather Inn and will certainly return ourselves if we find ourselves travelling this way again. We were only sorry we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer.

Situated in a fabulous building, our room was beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. We arrived on a cold wet day but the heating and the generous bath made the experience cosy and warm .

Character, Charm, Comfort & Style”
As a Francophile with a love of everything nostalgic and romantic, I always try to seek out accommodation that has a sense of character, charm and style when I travel, so my overnight stay at the Red Feather Inn was a delight. I was travelling solo so had booked The Attic Suite - perfect for either a single or couple. Up a delightfully steep and narrow staircase, the loft-style room has a French/Swedish cottage decorating theme featuring white painted timber floors and furniture, accented with accessories and fabrics in red, grey and black. While people who prefer a view may not like that the only windows are the Velux type in the sloped ceiling, I thought that the sense of privacy and seclusion enhanced the 'attic' character. After a day of walking around open gardens, a long soak in the deep bathtub was welcoming and relaxing. Although there is a restaurant on site, I'm not a dinner person so, after arriving and unpacking, I chose to stay-in and immerse myself in my surroundings. Provisions for a basic continental breakfast (muesli, yoghurt, fruit, toast, jam, apple juice, orange juice) were supplied, as was coffee, tea and milk. The 11am checkout was much appreciated.

Beautiful B&B ”
Wonderful stay in a charming B&B just outside Launceston. We stayed in the old stables which was a little bit apart from the main building which suited us perfectly. The staff were very warm ,friendly and accommodating. Dinner on Saturday night was delightful and we met the other couples who were staying. The garden is beautiful and matches the historic house. I would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended it to family and friends.

Fantastic B&B with great food and wine”
The B&B is only 10 mins outside Launceston but it is worth the travel time. A very quaint establishment with modern facilities. The highlight for me was the dining experience in the Inn. The food was amazing and I met some wonderful people. An absolute highlight on my trip around Tassie.
