Great location and peaceful environment”
We stayed for 9 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. There is nothing we could complain about! Once we grasped how the baht buses worked, we found it so easy to get to central Pattaya, Jomtien or even the big supermarket, Tesco Lotus. Residence gardens is central enough without being in the heart of all the noise and activity. There are some fantastic restaurants close by as well as a mini mart and ATM directly across the road. Altos cafe serves excellent priced, delicious meals and is owned by an Aussie who is so helpful in giving tips on getting around and what to see. Thanks Damien! (try the breakfasts - they are worth every cent of the $4 it costs for a fully cooked breakfast including juice and tea or coffee!) At Residence Gardens there are 2 pools, one at the front and one at the back. We regularly used the back pool. The rooms are modern and have everything you need if you want to cook yourselves a meal. Each room has its own A/C and TV and a balcony. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff come every day. The staff are helpful although some have some difficulty with English - not really a problem. And the Saturday night Elvis show is well worth sitting in on. (we didn't have the buffet dinner as the food sat out in the open all evening and I had some concerns about that!) Altogether, I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it for people who don't want to be right in the centre of the action but close enough to access without a problem. lOovely place to stay.

Excellent hotel with a very friendly staff”
the residence garden was a splendid hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a quality hotel. i mean from the very first day we received excellent service from the bellhops to room service. security is well visible 24 hours a day for your safety and transportation was always in the area passing by for your travel concerns. no more than a 5 minute walk if preferred or a short ride into the busy district for your entertainment or wherever your desires leads you. i would definitely return to the residence garden for my future travels to pattaya. a definite must if you prefer to use the kitchenette to prepare your own meals or dine in at the captains corner restaurant that's provided by the hotel. very good bbq especially when elvis performs live on saturday nights.

The best double room we've ever had!”
At the Residence Garden, we were especially impressed with the double room. Each of the bedrooms were spacious - we had an extra single bed in our childrens' room because we took 3 children and there was more than enough room for them; each room had it's own en-suite and the living room area with open-plan kitchen was adequate. The place was clean and tidy, had a great "all-you-can-eat" Barbecue at a reasonable price and two large swimming pools. Getting to Pattaya was a little hairy crossing the dual carriageway but overall it was a pleasant place to stay - the staff also made it so.

really nice hotel very friendly staff”
we stayed at the residence gardens at the begining of april 2012. this hotel is just a 10 minute stroll from the sea front and all the hustle and bustle of pattaya. the rooms or more like an appartments are very spacious and very clean with everything you need. the aircon is great in both the bedroom and the living area. the staff are very friendly and very helpful. we ate at the captains bbq in front of the hotel one night which is very good, all you can eat for and the food was excellent. i would well recommend this accomodation for its location friendly staff large rooms and cleanliness i could not fault it in any way.

I have stayed at Residence Gardens many times over the past 10 years and have always been pleased. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the units are large. My one bedroom ensuite had living room, kitchenette, balcony in good condition and clean. Beds are very comfortable and there are TV's in both living room and bedroom. The channel selection and the reception on the TV's could be better. The food at the restaurant is very good and fairly priced. Can't go wrong!

The Residence Garden is a cozy hotel not far from the center of Pattaya, just 10 minutes walk from the famous Walking Street. We had one bedroom apartment there with separate bedroom and spacious living room with kitchenette. There was a balcony with pool view. Aircon was quiet and effective. Swimming pool was very good, Recommend this hotel.

Place where you can peace and quiet”
Our stay at The Residence Garden was great and transport very convenient as it travels along Beach Road, long stretch of road where we simply alight at any place we like. Hop up at Pattaya Beach to get back to Hotel. Will stay again if we travel to Pattaya.

Pleasant surprise”
Recidence Garden is well located just a few minutes walk from Pattaya beach and Walking Street. Song tao i.e. Bath bus come right at the front door with 10 baths charge. Also bath bus takes you to beautiful and clean Jomtien beach in just a few minutes (20 baths). Rooms are not rooms but suites and are very roomy. Big pools, friendly staff and good food. Good for individuals as well as families. Vey good value for money. I will stay there during next trip for sure. Cannot say anything negative about the hotel. Best experience in Pattaya.

Fantastic hotel”
For the price I paid, I did not expect much, so I was pleasently surprised. This is an apartment hotel, where your room is more like an expensive suite. Seperate bedroom with a safe, big enough for a laptop, and living room. Each room had a TV. There is a kitchenette in the living room if you feel like cooking, and a nice big balcony overlooking one of the hotels 2 swimming pools. All very nice and clean. The location is perfect. Just a short distance ( 2 minutes by baht bus) to hectic pattaya and walking street. The hotel has free wifi, that worked very well. Roomservice was good and quite inexpensive. The Captain's Corner restaurant is located at the hotel entrance. A cosy restaurant with a nightly "eat all you can" buffet. There is a phillippino guy entertaining on a keyboard. Convenient location, great staff”
The Residence Garden has a homely feel to it with its studio apartment style rooms. The location is convenient if you want both access to Pattaya city and the cleaner beaches of Jomtien. The staff were great, very friendly with good English language skills which can be difficult to find in Pattaya. The hotel has a relaxing vibe with two swimming pools and a bar right by the pool. I would recommend The Residence Garden to couples.

great hotel just 5' away from Walking Street”
Note: This was the first leg of my very first trip to Thailand, so I can't compare to other hotels in Pattaya, only to other hotels I subsequently visited on my trip, or to similarly-priced hotels in Singapore, Taiwan and China. the suite was very affordable. Very clean. I found the staff very unobtrusive, but friendly and helpful when needed. Location: The hotel is about 5' (slow) walking distance from Walking Street and shopping districts. In most ways it's nice be removed from all the activity. On the other hand, the hotel is not on regular tuk-tuk routes, so you may be charged extra (I was quoted twice 150 baht/person from WS) if you would rather not walk back (for example carrying something heavy/bulky). Minor cons: 1. I found that the AC was way too cold and hard blowing, but then I generally have that problem in Asia, so it my be a problem with me :-) 2. Due to 1. above, the lack of tissue paper in the suite was inconvenient. Until then I had never been in a hotel room that did not provide tissues, even in cheap hotels. Apparently this is a Thailand thing [???] because none of the hotels on this trip provided tissues either. 3. The safe was large enough for my 15' MacBook Pro, but will not fit bulkier PC laptops. The hotel has a restaurant that looks (and smells) very good, and is packed every night with couples & groups. As a solo traveler I did not feel that I fit in and did not try the food.

Very nice hotel but a little out of the way”
Stayed in the Bedroom suite. It was very large and spacious for the price. Furniture was in good condition with a large TV in the living room. Room was cleaned very well by staff each day. Hotel staff were nice but sometimes weren't too knowledgable or vague. Pool is nice. Bad points: Restaurant prices are a bit expensive then they add VAT and service charges to it with a tip box too on the counter. One night there was a very pricey buffet. No one ate there... a lot of untouched wasted food. It was actually pretty far from all the action. Also they need a more visible sign out front. Easy to miss when you are driving. You need to take a baht-bus (actually a small pickup truck) at the intersection of the beach road when it curves in front of Walking Street and touches Pattaya 2 road. There is a line of trucks on the other side by the park space waiting for passengers. Tell them the hotel so they will stop for you there. It's 10 baht each way on those baht-bus.

Great Experience! Will definitely book here again!”
This was really good find!! When I booked the room, I had made some special requests (through the agoda site). Within 1-2 hours, the hotel staff was already responding to my requests with several different options...terrific service!! When I arrived, the staff was very friendly and helped me to set up a round of golf the next morning, and transportation back to the airport at the end of my stay, along with wake up calls for both days. The room itself was a very pleasant surprise as it was very spacious, with a nice balcony looking over the pool. Admittedly, the furniture was a bit out-dated, but certainly comfortable. The televisions, however, were definitely a bit small, especially for such a large living room area. However, since I did not come to Pattaya to watch tv, this was not really a concern. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Pattaya.

Large room, great staff”
Stayed first just one night, but then 5 more nights. Staff is very helpful and speaks good English in reception and enough in the restaurant. Got used to the traffic noise that may annoy some. Residence Garden is close to the famous walking street and also Jomtien beach is easy to reach thanks to the soong theos (red vans).

Nice large room”
From check in to check out the staff was great and very helpful. Both the maid service and room service was excellant. Good food at the restaurant out by the pool and also had the Captain's Corner restaurant that had the nighly all-you-can eat BBQ dinner where you choose the meat or seafood and they cook it on the grill for you and bring it to your table. The living area had kitchen area with everyting you needed to cook and eat in the room. I enjoyed the location because you could leave the hotel and go either way, to Jomtien Beach or the other way into Pattaya using the 'baht bus' that passes in front of the hotel going either way.

Great room and staff - just avoid breakfast ”
Had a great stay at the Residence Inn. All rooms are either 1 or 2 bedroom suites, and my 1 room suite was spacious, well appointed and quiet. Must point out the service from check in to check out...including the maid service was just top notch. Would definitely stay at Residence Garden again. Only issue of note was breakfast service. The breakfast service was s-l-o-w.

Pretty Good Value for Money”
I go to pattaya at least once a year and have stayed at a variety of places. The higher end hotels always try to charge you for everything possible including guest fees and insane transportation / tour costs. Only thing residence garden will charge you for is if you want extra towels and overall is a pleasant, hassle free place to stay close to walking street i will most likely stay there again

We stayed here for six nights. We were not very impressed with Pattaya overall but this hotel was the bright spot. It is not really a hotel but more of a short stay apartment. We had a living room, kitchen, two bed rooms, two baths, a balcony, which was perfect for our family. This is not within walking distance to the ocean so it does not feel like you are staying at the beach. If you want to go to the beach then take the ferry out to the island for the day where the beaches are swimmable and you can snorkel without having to hire a dive service.

Enjoyable stay. Very clean, quiet rooms where we were. Didn't get to sample the Buffet but it looked good, maybe next time. Staff helpful and friendly and no problem when we changed our tour bookings. Good value for money. Thank you The Residence Gardens.
