“It was an excessively luxurious stay.”
My husband and I stayed here this time. Since it was my husband's first trip abroad, we decided to splurge and chose this hotel. At check-in, they recommended an upgrade to a room with a nice view for 800 HKD, but we declined. When we arrived in our room, my husband and I were deeply moved by the view of Hong Kong outside the window. We had seen the night views of Nagasaki, Hokkaido, and Kobe in Japan, but the night view of Hong Kong was overwhelmingly beautiful in comparison. We also enjoyed the night view from Victoria Peak before arriving at the hotel, but that too was far surpassed by the stunning night view from our room. Although we had the lowest grade room this time, I don't think an upgrade was necessary. The view from the room was the best, but the gym was also good. We went during the weekday evening, and there were few people, allowing us to exercise to our hearts' content. The locker room also had a passcode for each locker, and there were private showers. The hairdryer was a Dyson. Afterward, we went to our intended destination, Ozone, and enjoyed the night view while drinking. We found out that guests could sit in the sofa seats (which usually incur a fee, equivalent to about 150,000 yen), which have a great view of the night scenery, for free, and we were very happy about that surprise. However, since the table was a bit far from the window where the night view could be seen, for those who want to drink while looking at the night view or take pictures combining drinks and the view, the counter seats might be a better option. This was my first time having such a wonderful hotel stay, and my husband was also very impressed. However, there weren't many types of hotel original goods to buy as souvenirs (there were logo tote bags and packaged tea, but no cookies), which was a weak point compared to other luxury hotels in Hong Kong. Still, the night view and activities visible from the room are unique and exceptional. I can confidently recommend it. If I have the opportunity to come to Hong Kong again in the future, I will definitely use it again.
