The duplex studio apartment was amazing. Very spacious.We were provided with 2 queen size beds and 3 single beds.The apartment was well furnished.2 toilets available.The kitchenette has a fridge,water boiler and a microwave-for simple cooking. There is also a washing machine and an iron. Perfect to meet our daily need. For the 3 days we spent there,the room was kept clean by housekeepers that come around 10am daily. The swimming pool located at the 3rd floor is open daily from 7am to 9pm. It is a mere 5minutes walk away to Imago Mall. Riverson Soho provided us with a parking card for the underground basement which was a very safe place.Parking in front of the Soho will incur a different parking charge. The only downside was the lack of free wifi.

Roomy with very good location”
The duplex is spacious with room for 7 ppl. It is technically just 2 rooms and not as stated. There is a small room below, a room with sliding -no lock- above and the 'third' room is actually the landing for spiral staircase. The 'third' room needs an air conditioning unit or even a fan. It is too warm to be comfortable. Cleanliness is just okay. The location is very good. It is just a short walk away from arguably the best shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu - Imago. SOHO Riverson is very close to the city centre and a ride there by Grab is just RM4-5 only.

Overall satisfying”
The duplex suite was worth the money for family and group especially. It was really spacious. And I liked it because it was somewhat isolated due to its security. There were shops surrounding the soho such as Domino’s Pizza, Orange and a pastry just steps away from the soho lobby. And a walk across from the soho leads to the business park with restaurants. Imago Mall lies just ahead of the business park. Overall I enjoyed the convenience and the comfort of soho. The maintenance of the soho is rather bad though; the bathroom walls were dirty, seams with mould, and the bathroom downstairs was without hot water.

Best apartment ever in Sabah”
my uncle's family stayed there while my family stayed at another apartment (opposite Oceanus Mall). We went to SOHO there once and it's really a great place to stay. As this apartment is quite new, the room is clean and 1 parking slot is given. i was quite a bit regret that why i didn't book SOHO for my family's stay at Sabah.

Booked a 3 bed apartment but was given a 2-bed apartment. However extra matresses were given (with no extra covers). Pros: 1) Good location - walking distance to Imago, few eateries and launderette. 2) Secure building location with separate passes for building entry. 3) Superb verb of the Mt Kinabalu from living area. Cons: 1) Only one pass for room and building given. 2) No cleaner during the length of our stay. Rubbish was also not taken out of apartment. 3) No porter service or trolley provided so had to haul luggage in batches. 4) Directly under flight path of incoming/out-going planes so bear with the noise. Parking a bit confusing at first but host was very kind in showing us exactly where to go and find our specific parking area. Overall I would recommend this place to families with children but those travelling with elderly with difficulties in climbing stairs might want to skip the 2-level apartment.

everything was okay until a door was locked inside my unit, called the staff to open it with spare key (guest was not provided with the room keys) the staff said maintenance will come within an hour, waited for 2 and a half hours, after calling a few times, then the maintenance came. very disappointing. i would say, Marina Court is a better choice if you're planning to stay in Kota Kinabalu with family.

the reviews are mixed. The arrival and departure is just a pain. On arrival they only replied 2 hrs before my previous checkout despite many local to local messages. They ask for the RM10 tourist tax per room but fail to DISPLAY their registration number and tourism tax cert as required by law to collect the tax. I left the tourism tax on the kitchen unit when i had got fed up waiting for them to turn up or even message for 30mins after the prearranged time to checkout. No displayed reg/ cert dont pay. Too many condo units giving Sabah tourism a bad name and when the reviews get too bad they can just change the name of the unit. This place gives a bad name to the Klagan Riverson which is a hotel/condo company on 3rd floor. Klagan is a respectful and organised hotel with professionalism and good internet. Also how dare this condo adopt the name of the Riverson Soho when that is the name of the development. Stay in Klagan Riverson, instead of being messed around by Accord Regency.

I would like to share my experience staying in riverson soho. Before u book remember:- -there is only 1 parking space provided despite u book their big rooms (6pax or more). Extra Parking space is non negotiable unlike other apartments in KK. U are bound to pay for parking ticket if u have a 2nd car which cost about rm29 for 24hrs. -the room is dusty and lack of maintenance. Holes on ceiling, mould here and there, clogged shower, dirty walls. They changed my room when i complained, the next room i was given was equally bad. This is a fact. -you are only allowed to use the microwave in the kitchen, no cooking is allowed, no cooking utensils etc provided unlike other places i stayed in Kk. -room deposit is rm200, and they wont be returning the deposit upon check out. Hence if u dont have a malaysian registered bank, refunding might be an issue? Lucky for me, i have a malaysian bank acc. -U have to request for garbage plastic at the reception. It doesnt matter how long u stayed, u need to request it otherwise there is no garbage plastic refill in the apartment. Plastic were given daily basis(could have been easier to give as much based on the number of stay but i guess its just the “procedure”). -the veranda view is gleneagles patient bed. U can see sick patients from every floors. Its just a sad depressing view. -receiption workers are all nice people. But as much as i complain, there is nothing they can do because it is just the way it is. Dont be deceived by what you see in the picture.

cons - the apt reeks of cigarette although it was stated non smoking room, bathroom cleanliness could be improved, the area where there are 2 single beds just next to the stairs doesnt realy have a/c or fan although its an open space the a/c from the sitting room doesnt quite reach the space to cool it enough and can be stuffy pros- great value for money, awesome location, staff was great (mind you, you have to call them earlier for a smooth check in and out), apt was nicely decorated and everything was brand new. tips - for smoother check in and out just call the staff ahead of time they'll assist you any way they can. you can park your car at the open parking area in front of the lobby or basement parking i think it charges rm3 or 6 per entry. the enterance is sharing with gleneagles hospt just fyi. everything said, ill stay there again.

Good for a quick in-out trip in Kota Kinabalu”
We were a group of 6 friends on a 2D1N trip to attend a friend's wedding in KK. The apartment's location was convenient, there is a mall, shops & restaurants within walking distance. Travelling with ride-sharing services was convenient and not too far from other points of interest, or if you have a car, there is parking provided although a bit complicated to get to with multiple access card points. The apartment itself is spacious and the number of beds were good to fit everyone. However, the spaces were not exactly what I had expected. 2 of the single beds were right on the landing of the 1st floor stairs, right outside a bigger ensuite room, on the mezzanine floor. Not exactly good for any soundproofing at all. Check-in & out instructions could be much better/clearer. Other than that, the place was clean, comfortable & has all amenities described.

location best, tengah bandar. the room is spacious and clean. just that the checkout process little bit hassle because we rent a car and use the provided free parking card. so the car have to go out first then come in by taking the parking card, and then checkout and return all the access cards. and have to complete within 15min so that we dont have to pay for the parking ticket that we took just to checkout. so just a reminder to those who use their parking access card. it will be a problem if you are on a hurry to catch a plane or something.

Excellent stay albeit terrible staff and management”
The only thing we did not like about this place was the management of the property. There was no lobby for us to check in. During out check in we had to carry all our luggage back and forth trying to locate the block to our service apartment. The hotel management should have a proper area for the guests to check in rather than the guests trying to find the check in staff. It was like a hide and seek game as we remembered our check in incident. Security wise we were provided access card to the car park, lift and to the unit. However, there were residents who did not close the security door properly which made anyone could go in the block. Other than that, the place was awesome - car park, swimming pool included.

to be fair we were moved from riverson soho to imago appartments due to maintenence issues so our rating isn't that applicable. However, we did find ourselves paying the same amount for a seemingly older apartment. The place was a little worn out, and the air conditioning in my parents room broke mid stay. they did offer to move us to a different room but we were just staying for another night so we didn't want the hassle. facilities were sufficient but there was no wifi. Overall, not overly satisfied but its alright i guess.

Misleading photos and below expectation”
We booked the room because its a soho which comes together with kitchen (as shown in the photos). However, when we arrived, we were not allowed to cook at all other than just using microwave. No facilities for storing baggage if your flight is after check-out time. so you have to carry your bags with you wherever you go. suggested to book from Klagan Residency since they have proper office in the building and provide number of rooms complete with proper house keeping service and baggage storage (if needed).

It's recomended, clean, strategic, aircond ok, tv channel ok, walking distance to imago around 3-5 minutes. A bit dissapointing in term of security because the chain lock for the main door is broken and not being fix up same goes to the sliding door lock. To check in better call the person incharge first and just park infront of the hotel.

Pro: - Brand new spacious 2 storey apartment - High level of security - Very good location, walking distance to mall, bank, hospital; and short driving to waterfront attractions - Professional and courteous staff, I was late to checkin and the staff waited patiently Con: - Internet usage was thru Digi mobile modem with data usage quota, business travellers with high data usage might found this to be hassle

Good stay value for money”
Booked a 2 bedroom unit for 3 of us. Rooms are decent sized and units comes with 2 bathrooms. Have a living room and kitchen, very little show choices and sofa is stained but love that there is a washing machine cum dryer, has stove too. Some lights are not working but not a big issue. Would be better if the floors are cleaned more throughly and better if they provide slippers. But overall its a Great stay for my family.

Pros-- - strategic location as it is just 5min walking distance to imago square - comfortable, clean, spacious as I stayed at corner apartment, modern furnitures and homely feel, washing machine, frigde, oven, tv, iron and etc.. are provided - staffs are helpful and they do daily housekeeping -- good security Cons --- the parking system is so complicated as it required residents to scan 3 times every in and out from the residents parking in basement -- we can get stuck in basements parking for 20min as there is only one entrance for the parking and some more it is connected to gleeagle

Riverson soho-say no to unit 8-13A”
Happy : location, and rooms layout Unhappy: feel unwelcome...its already a bad day (flight has delayed On the 20th June afternoon and when reached kk, one of out bag left at KLIA2 due to lost tag label), when we arrived at riverson lobby, i have been informed by reception to collect the key at the mailbox, but when coming down to the basement (mailbox) the key is not there.. made few phone calls before been updated that the mail will deiver the key to the lobby..have to wait on while my kids has started restless..the tv doesnt work since our arrival, and the support staff promised to fix ASAP but the issue Remains Till the day we check out !! Floor Cleanliness is poor, i Have to call for a sweep or mob to be sent to the room so we can clean it ourself before they send someone on the 3rd day afternoon..AC on the living and master bedrrom room also doenst really cooled the area despite at 18decC setting temperature..In summary, the support is poor
