Great overnight near airport”
After hearing stories about how bad the traffic was in Yangon, we chose to stay at The Rock Villa before an early morning flight. We arrived in mid-afternoon, and spent several hours catching up on emails and backing up photos while enjoying a cold beer. They prepared a nice dinner for us, and ordered a tuk-tuk for our morning delivery to the airport, which took less than 10 minutes. Recommend!

execellent services and very helpful staffs ”
very pleasant stay in The Rock Villa,a home stay feeling and all the staffs are very helpful,and do whatever to suit my needs as I was suffered of food poisoning in Bagan, they cooked me porridge and rice noodles, and sent me to the clinic before my departure to the airport. I really impressed with their kindness and generosity.even the price is a bit high,and hotels in Myanmar are all over priced..but still The Rock villa is worth to stay for their excellent services.i will highly recommend to those who wish to stay near by airport for catching your flight, and one more credit is they do provide Free airport transfer.

'relative's house'-like confy motel”
I stayed here cause I arrive late at night in Yangon and leaving very early to catch my flight to another city. They provide a ride between the hotel and the airport from (very) early in the morning to late at night, which was exactly what I needed. The hotel itself is more like a house of your relatives, but overall clean and acceptable. You can see how hard they are trying to make us feel comfortable. They even prepared me breakfast on 4AM. The master speaks English, so it's quite easy to get some travel tips before you travel forward. I'm not sure if it's a good stay for Yangon-travelers, but I'm sure it's a place for travellers who need a bed to sleep until their next day flight.

More like a home stay or guesthouse than a hotel, but has everything I was looking for: quiet, peaceful, very helpful staff, simple but satisfying meals, and conveniently located near airport, in short: great value for money in this overpriced (for hotels) city of Yangon.

Great for airport access”
We decided to stay as we were arriving late in Yangon and leaving in the early morning so chose this hotel for its convenient location and shuttle service. They picked up at the airport and drop at the agreed time, staff was really friendly.

We arrives at the airport around 00:15. Hotel is very kind to arrange free car pickup from airport. The room is very clean. It is about 30 minutes by taxi from hotel to China Town. Comparing to the small and dirty room around noisy China Town, the hotel room satisfied us, it is quiet. A big supermarket called "Ocean" is found. It is about 10 minutes on foot from hotel. Hotel people are kind and help us opening a durian. Free breakfast with many choices.

I sent a last minute email requesting airport pickup and received a prompt response. Two staff met me at the airport with my name on a sign. The transport to/from was complimentary. The location was probably less than a 10 minute drive from the airport. A perfect place for a stopover if flying out early. The room was very clean with a large bed, fridge and functional air conditioning. I arrived late and was hungry so they fixed me some food in their restaurant. They had breakfast and a ride ready for me before my early morning flight. They were really aiming to please. A great value for the money. This is the place to stay for your stopover.

Good choice close to the airport”
I had a very early morning flight so wanted a location close to the airport to minimise the uncertainty of travel time. I arrived quite late so didn't really spend much time here but it suited my purposes well. I actually walked to there from a stop on the Circle train - although I wouldn't recommmend this if you aren't travelling light and don't have gps as I did. It was also only about a 10 min walk to the mall too so went there and stocked up on a few things to take home. There was a full English breakfast provided but unfortunately I did not know so couldn't tell them I was a vegetarian who didn't eat eggs before it was given to me! Staff seemed lovely and accomodating.

Great airport hotel”
Extremely friendly staff. Upon check in, they asked me what time I'd like breakfast and also arranged my ride to the airport. They will drive to a local restaurant to pick up food for you if you don't want to go out. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy. The air conditioners were a little old, but they provided me with a fan as well.m, so it was alright. Would absolutely stay there again.

Good place for an overnight airport transfer”
The hotel is in quite an old private house near the airport. We were a bit surprised to find out that our superior room did not have attached bathroom, however for a one night stay it did not make much of a difference, especially given the extremely helpful and attentive staff.

Nice hostel”
They allowed me to check in early and check out late without any additional fees. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. My only complaint is that chocolate wrappers were on the table. well, that is maybe because I checked in (6AM!) before they were able to finally clean up. But I really recommend this to anyone who has a flight at the Mandalay Airport

Great Stay for just one night”
This hotel is great if you just want to stay for a night or so in order to travel on. its hidden in the back of a great little street, very quiet and very typical for myanmar. pick up from the airport was unproblematic, very friendly staff who tried everything to make me happy, even got mohinga for breakfast. communication in english is a bit difficult, but ok if you try and are patient. went for a late night supper to one of the tea shops you are driving by when being picked up and it was totally fine. room was very clean and bed with a real planket and pillow and was very cozy, room is simple, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner in the corners, but was fine with me as I did not expect high comfort. Would definetly recommend again as you do not need to worry much about when arriving late at night and leaving again the next day.

Perfect for the airport”
Perfect to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. Super friendly and helpful people and a gorgeous golden retriever! The room was pretty basic but the place has a nice homely feel. The Shan noodles for breakfast were delicious!

Great location for a night near the airport”
The owner's father picked me up from and drove me over to the airport the next day because their driver was unavailable. He and his wife were very accommodating. So was the staff. This was my second stay, and I'll definitely go for the third.

Hidden little gem”
A hidden gem in a quiet resedential area. Picked up and taken back to airport with no hassles. About a 5 min drive. I was looking for a quiet place to stay close to the airport. This may not be for you if you want all the sights downtown but for me perfect. Must also mention tbe staff who couldnt do enough for me,would def stay again.

New place, close to airport”
Good internet connection, very helpful staff walked with me to the shopping mall and arranged transport. Location in a villa compound with a lot of barbed wire fences doesn't look very friendly and is hard to find for taxi drivers from the city center.

Fine for a stay to get to or from the airport ”
Cons - the shower didn't work beyond a trickle, even after we told the staff and they had said it was fixed. Food was not available as first mentioned, however the staff made a great effort to source it from somewhere else for us, understandably took some time. Takes about 15mins to walk to the main road and any kind of shops. Pros - the women on reception during the day was great, very helpful (if only her instructions had made it to the overnight / early morning staff). Overall the staff were very friendly. Very close to the airport and airport transfer from the guest house to the airport was given free of charge
