"Staff was pleasant."
November 13, 2018
Each of the 107 well-appointed rooms at this hidden gem feature free internet, king-sized beds, and LCD televisions. After a busy day touring or taking care of business in the nearby business district, guests can unwind in the rooftop heated pool or enjoy nearly any manner of cuisine at the multitude of restaurants in the surrounding area. For a very interesting night out on the town, check out the nearby 'Mysteriously Yours', a murder-mystery dinner theater that features excellent food and a really good story as well. The price for all that is received at this hotel is shockingly low, all things considered, and should definitely be on the top of any list for traveling to Toronto.
"Excellent and obliging staff."

this was an amazing deal on Agoda, and the hotel did not disappoint. The breakfast was amazing and the staff - just Wow awesome!!!
Central location, complimentary breakfast”
The building deco is showing its age but the hotel is comfortable and provides a complimentary breakfast.
Basic accommodation in central Toronto”
Ask for a room far from the construction noise. Arrival with a vehicle is awkward due to limited space at the front door. Complimentary breakfast is ok but the 2 recent visits the hot eggs were barely warm.
amazing people work here
Too much construction going on. ”
Old run down hotel loud in hallways all night. Small rooms and old furnishings. No facilities to speak of.
Ms. experienced traveller”
I will definitely stay at the Roehampton on my trips to downtown Toronto
Excellent and obliging staff.
Best hotel in Toronto ”
nice staff and service
Old hotel ”
the hold is old and needs to be renovated. It does not have a decent parking, and be careful the Valet parking operator can scratch your car
Clean spacious room, beds were comfortable, bathroom small but clean. Staff was pleasant. We would use this hotel again if in the area.
Really clean but old”
I was so surprised at how clean it was, I actually took a bath in the tub. I don't usually do that at budget hotels. The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable to me, my friends thought they were fine. Typical hotel breakfast buffet, nothing impressive but not terrible. Staff was great. The "gym" was a treadmill and a bike, and some weights in a room that smelled awful. I paid less than $150 through this app so all in all I ended up happy for the price. Anything that clean is really great!
Dust and Noise”
Dust and Noise from new subway construction were filled all over inside building and room. Big noise from air duct outtake at isle and room. No way to stay at the hotel if you don't want to be sick. I felt pain at my throat and had headache. Also worst is no full refund foe cancellation. Highly recommend "Never ever go this hotel". I heard from tax driver at next morning "many people cancel and escape from the hotel after they stay first night."
Really easy to find, staff super nice sand helpful. They even upgrade my room at no cost. Hotel is not new but you see that they are keeping it real clean. No funny smell at all. Greatly appreciated the stay, will more than likely go back there if return to Toronto.
The hotel is very out-dated and rooms stink like an ashtray ( despite them being non-smoking). Burn holes in the chair and carpets. Restaurant staff were nice, but again it is highly outdated. Entire hotel feels dirty (stains on carpets and furniture), despite acting as though they are a 5 star hotel. Hotel staff were difficult to work with. For the amount of money paid ($180/night - completely not worth it at all. The hotel and staff try to act ritzy and high class, which they could pull off with their location and infrastructure, but need to update all the rooms and furniture etc... Not impressed at all for what I paid.
Closest to Sunnybrook Hospital
Good location nice breakfast”
Hotel location is close to subway station. There is some convinent store close by but dinning option is very limited. Room is old but at this price in this area you cannot complain too much.
Wonderful staff! The bed and pillows offered a great night's rest. Only drawback is all the construction in the area.
Very nice place. Only downside what the vending machine didn't work and only took coins/cash instead of debit
Staff is absolutely wonderful”
First the negative: We were told valet parking would be available when we arrived, it's actually first come first serve which would have been helpful. At first I was annoyed, but the staff was VERY apologetic and gave us a less expensive option for parking and allowed us to park in the lot for a little bit to take our luggage to the room. They also informed us to come back in the morning to check with valet. We were not annoyed for very long. There is a parking garage a block down so not too far and it is about $8 less a day. POSITIVES: There are so many positives, first being their staff. From valet, to housekeeping, front desk and the BEST POSITIVE is their breakfast staff AND THE BREAKFAST BUFFET! I read reviews about their buffet and staff. Little did we know that their breakfast and staff would exceed our expectations. Their staff (the second morning we were there) knew our beverage of choice and asked us about our trip to the falls. Jade (she is fab!) even filled my large water bottle...she knew from the day before how much water I drink. Their breakfast buffet was awesome!!!! The location was good. Restaurants nearby, subway is not too far, and they have stores one block down for extra things you may have forgotten or need, like an umbrella for only $3. This hotel is not party central. We had a Queen suite room and it was VERY comfortable. Air con worked AWESOME! We would stay here again.
