A gem in Siem Reap”
One of the best places I've stayed traveling around Southeast Asia. It's a little off the beaten track and down a dark side road, so you may want to take a tuk tuk at night. But the breakfast, pool, room, and staff were absolutely outstanding.

Couldn't be better!”
We originally planned on staying here for 2 nights, but ended up extending and staying in Siem Reap for 6 nights and had the most wonderful stay. It is perfect location (less than a 10 minute walk to the "pub street" with many bars, restaurants, shopping, etc), and a short drive away from Angkor Wat and the other temples. The rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious, the pool is wonderful in the heat of the afternoon, and the owners are very helpful with everything we could have asked for. They even picked us up from the airport for free so we didn't have to deal with transportation/finding the hotel. I couldn't have had a better stay at the Rose Apple bed & breakfast! I recommend to everyone looking at this hotel to book for the entirety of your stay!

Excellent place”
Great place to stay. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly people. It's only a 7 minute walk or so away from the 'busy' areas. Wonderful salt-water pool. I'll stay here again when I come back.

A great place to stay”
This is a really great, warm and friendly hotel where the owners and staff make you feel like part of the family. They can help you book trips to the Angkor temples, transport and other activities in Siem Reap. The pool and bar are lovely, making it a great blend of a locally run hotel and a mini resort. The location is an easy walk into the main drag, but far enough away that you are not listening to second hand music during the night. Its a 5 minute walk to the night markets which is very handy. The breakfasts and meals in the bar/restaurant were very tasty. I always felt welcome and safe at the Rose Apple.

Best ever? Maybe. ”
Yes, it's on a small dirt road with mud and not much lighting. Yes, there is the US dollar rate making it more expensive unless you come from the US [I don't]. But that's probably being pedantic looking for faults. Simply, if your going to this part of Cambodia, then to miss this magnificent, small, beautifully run and staffed hotel, would be doing yourself a disservice. For those who know the pleasures of B&B accommodation, then this is it but in a hotel. The owner always around for a chat, management same, staff a delight, even checking up on me one day when I missed the beautifully managed breakfasts. What breakfast after the usual 10am? Yes? No problem, it is cooked in front of you, until the very civilised 11am. Arrive to a drink and a lovely present. Free of course. Near the large clean pool. I saw a lot of comments that were 10/10 and I thought it unlikely ... until now that I have been there. 10/10.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff, lovely pool and in great location”
My friend and I loved our stay at The Rose Apple. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious, the location ideal for walking to the market and restaurants and the pool was just what we needed after a morning at the temples. Highly recommend it!

A little gem of a hotel with comfort and quiet”
Comfort, cleanliness and staff perfromance
I booked my stay at the hotel on a friend's suggestion. I was very pleased ti fine that it met more than my expectations. It is owned and operated by a family with very committed, pleasant and efficient staff. It has the air of a true family run cosy atmosphere. the young women were eager and pleasant to serve and spoke good English. The food was very good and the rooms were nicely appointed - though not luxurious. The terrace on the top is very inviting and pretty with a few flower plants. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.

could have been better”
quiet, cleanliness, pricing
The staff there were very pleasant and helpful. communication was great as they all spoke good english. We were a little inconvenienced by the disruptions of the electricity during our 1st night stay there. the only good thing was that we had experienced the 5-6 times of disruptions on our 1st night only and not every night. We inform the staff on duty the next morning and was told perhaps it was due to the key being old and she was willing to change our rooms should it happen again.. My travel buddy accidentally broke a ceramic hand shower bottle and we had to pay USD 12 for it. We were quite turned off by the amount (12USd). Yes it was our fault, but we really did not expect that amount. We did not even mentioned some sort of discount when we were inconvenienced but the electricity disruptions... In all, the location was great due to its proximity to Pub street, and a short drive away from the temples. The road in as mentioned by the hotel was a short tuk tuk ride (about 5 mins) but it was very, very bumpy due to the unmade roads. the hotel is still recommendable for its pricing and comfort level.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay in Siem Reap!”
Comfortable, clean and cosy room, salt water pool, generous and delicious breakfast!
We would highly recommend The Rose Apple in Siem Reap. Our room was comfortable, modern and clean! Tim and his family made us feel really at home when we were there, and he really made the effort to introduce us to his B&B and Siam Reap! Location was about a 10 min walk away from the main backpackers area (i.e. pub street), and it was really easy to just take a walk down when we wanted to, no tuk tuks needed! And the saltwater pool here is divine! We went for a dip on our last day and it was the perfect remedy to a scorching Cambodian afternoon; the saltwater is apparently good for your skin and its good for the environment as well! It was great taking a cool dip after all the exertions of exploring Angkor Wat the day before. Breakfast was also the best we've had so far, super generous portions and really deliciously made (love the omelette!). All in all, highly recommended! (:
