Excellent Service”

Nice vintage style room with nice view- Overlooking the Mekong River, good location-right at Walking Street, great services from check-in till check-out.

Rooms are nice and clean. My friends and I booked two rooms-one called “Loft” and another one called “Vintage”. The Front Office Assistant, Tarn welcomed us with very nice smile and provided services like a personal butler until we checked out. We had very good time at The Royal Chiangkhan Boutique Hotel.

Clean rooms and lovely design”

Clean, very friendly staff

The royal chiangkhan botique hotel is located right in the middle of the shopping and night market area. You can get a great view of the mekong river too. The rooms are beautifully designed and they are clean. The staff there are also very friendly and helpful. Will deifinitely stay there again on my next trip.

Great Location, nice room but a bit small”

Located on walking street, staff are so friendly and helpful.

we arrived there early morning, but couldn't get into the room until 2pm. if your trip wasn't planned very well, you may ask from the reception, the tourist map or the chiangkhan guidebook are available for guests to borrow. the hotel has little balcony just next to lobby that you can sitting there, reading some nice book or even have a nap.

A Compact but Comfort Place”

Next to the Mae Khong River, Nice scenery & Convenience

We booked the Royal Chiangkhan Boutique Hotel but it appeared the property was fully booked or something happened to their bookign system, so upon we arrived Chiang Khan we got transferred to stay at Chic Chiang Khan hotel instead. Luckily, Chic Chiang Khan was just fine for us, a small compact room but furnitures are pretty new, their bed is very comfortable. The only thing we do not like is their restroom, the smell is terrible even it looks clean and new.

One of the better Chiangkhan options”

I stayed here because the standard Chiangkhan guesthouse really wasn't for me. I prefer a more hotel environment when I holiday, with more privacy etc. This place offered that up, although I had to put up with shared bathrooms (which actually turned out to be not an issue as there were plenty of them). Having had a good look around the main Chiangkhan waterfront/walking street area, this place certainly was one of the better picks, with excellent location, and very comfortable rooms.

extremely overpriced”

good location, clean and nice decoration

I booked the hotel without knowing much about Chiang Khan. Once got there, I found a lot of nice and cheap home stay with river view and better hospitality. An air-con room in homestay with hot water, TV and ensuited is costed around 1/4 of what you have to pay for the Royal Chiangkhan, where you have to share the shower and toilet with other guests. The room is newly decorated in vintage style and come with strong smell of the new painting. LCD seems to be misplaced on the wall-side, which you have to sit straight against the other side of the room in order to see the screen, in stead of comfortably laying down on your bed. Nothing much in the room, you will not even get the glass for your water or a mirror in the room.

The staff were so helpful”

Staff, location

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and in Thailand but never have I met such friendly and helpful staff, they are really excellent. The parking facility is quite close and the breakfast restauraunt is close by also. The Mekong river is just accross the road and a walk along the river is lovely. The hotel itself was lovely very clean and the room was clean with everything we needed. It wsa lovely to sit in the foyer of the hotel and watch the people pass by. Indeed I would advise an early wake up to meet the monks who pass by each morning and clooect their rice, food and gifts. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

A nice stay during a laid back trip”

The hotel is with facilities like home - since the town was pretty small we spent considerable amount of time chilling at the lobby / verandah, reading or having a drink. We took the room with shared bathroom, we worried that there would be some inconveniences but it turned out alright as not too many guests during that time and the bathrooms are well maintained.

Comfortable hotel in a small town”

Clean, comfortable, nice design

Comfortable stay. Nice river view at the rooftop. Lovely design on every floor, even at the staircase. Nice bed, clean room, clean toilet. Lobby is well decorated and very cosy sofa for guests to relax. However, it does not serve any food including breakfast. It does not have parking lots and the river view from the room is not the best as the hotel is not directly next to Mekong river.

Clean, spacious room but grossly overpriced!”

Good location within seconds to the night market street

This is a good hotel but it is just grossly overpriced. There are more economical and value for money alternatives anywhere down the street! It is pretty obvious this hotel is trying to fleece off the affluent Thai tourists and backpackers from the West. Please, please, consider a more reasonable price - even more superior hotels in Bangkok city right next to BTS cost lower than you! I would suggest a boycott of this hotel for its price per se!

Nice design but too expensive for the area

I spent a night there , the location where we went is very countryside , the hotel offer a comfortable clean room , but the room is small compare to what we spent money for, the toilet is beyond small and the slow water supply. , however the design is nice , there are a few hotels around there have a modern design like we stayed . the price is too high for the service and the room we got , no bellboy , just a girl who do all check in and look after the hotel . so we have to carry our own bags to the 3th floor ourselves. , the breakfast , they will give you a voucher to spent on the local restaurant around the area , cheap breakfast and expensive room
