weekend at The Royal Hotel”

Amost everything is excellent except their toilet system that flushes at times and not at other times and it looks like this is a common known problem by management Airconditioners are centrally controlled for the Durban Humidity but tend to be set at too cold temperatue at night and cannot be adjusted by guests to their preferred room temperature. When it is too humidy in the morning the air conditioners are not set to cold instead they are set to warm. Independent air condition settings by residents would be better since individual body temperatures are different by nature.

The hotel is very beautiful exactly like in the pictures. I really enjoyed my stay, the only negative review is that the shower was cold it didn't matter the time of day it was just really cold which was so bad.

Potential to be great; poor management ”

Furniture is dirty, simple cleaning of chairs would make a difference. Could only sit on chairs once covered by towels. Poor management is evident. A huge hotel which is poorly managed. With the right management, this could be a great hotel.
