Trains and traffic were so loud.Difficult to sleep”
The bed was comfortable for a single bed. The lady's bathroom( had to use a shared bathroom) which for most parts is ok) was cold, outdated, and difficult to shower in. I have poor mobility and had to climb into a bath then try and the shower was difficult. The food was great and service was good to although I was asked to pay again when I had booked through this site,

We went to Muswellbrook for a relatives 50th birthday. We staid in the king suite, very clean, tidy and private. Had dinner at the Royal on our last night, wonderful vegetable linguine and a barramundi dish.

Affordable, comfortable and clean”
Very clean and well appointed affordable hotel. Comfortable beds, beautiful ornate ceiling and walls, tidy shared bathrooms and friendly staff. Stayed in a deluxe king room on the railway side. Whilst it’s a great location, the shunting and movement of coal trains woke us up several times before dawn. Limited free parking at the back of the hotel with ample timed parking along the streets around the hotel. Manager of the venue was insightful, friendly and helpful. Ask to see the historic underground cellar that could be booked for private events!
