Great hotel near JR Nagoya with hot bath”

New, very comfortable room, onsen, proximity to JR Nagoya

Had a very pleasant stay at Royal Park Hotel Nagoya. The hotel is close to JR Nagoya (5-10 mins walk). You can either walk from the station or use the underground mall (Unimall) and use exit 10. But for a family with stroller, finding a way from the station to this underground mall can be confusing so it may be easier to just walk on the street. The hotel is not a big hotel but has everything we need. 1st Fl. is Family Mart so you can buy supplies there. Lobby is on the second floor (if I'm not mistaken). Staff is very friendly and speak English. The room is very new. The hotel provided lots of pillows, which is good for a family with young children like ours. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel also has hot bath on the 3rd floor. For breakfast, the selection is not a lot like in a big hotel but tastes very good. I have to say that the hotel exceeds our expectation in many ways. Will definitely look to stay there again if we visit Nagoya again.

Great hotel in the heart of city.”

I spent a weeknd in Nagoya and stayed at Royal Park Hotel. The location of the hotel is in 5 mins walk to Nagoya Station, and just 3 mins from Midland Island (a high-end shoppig and dinning place, Dean Deluca is there). Also, there are hundreds of shops to satisfy all kinds of visitors. By the way, I paid a bit more to stay on Premium floor, and it's worthy! The size of the room is bigger than the average business hotesl in Japan, and free drinks at restaurant. The breakfast is as good as most people posted online, very healthy and delicated foods to energise youself in the morining. I'd definitely stay at this hotel if I go to Nagoya again.

Comfy room with very tasty breakfast buffet”

Delicious breakfast spread, comfortable room, free spa and sauna for guest

From Nagoya station, cross over the main road running parallel to the station and keep walking straight along the main road. Once you see Junku-do book Store, walk straight ahead until you see Family Mart. A slight turn to the left at Family Mart brings you to the entrance of Royal Park Hotel. The hotel is not exactly the easiest to locate and it takes about 10 minutes from the JR Station. Booked a double room on the female floor and was quite impressed with the room! Bed was comfortable and hotel provided Loccitane toiletries with Shiseido sheet masks in the bathroom! They also provided the Panasonic nanoe hair dryer and nano facial mist machine. The décor was the room was tasteful and I felt that the female toiletries provided were very thoughtful! Wifi was freely available in every room and signal was strong. Breakfast consists of both western and Japanese selections and they were very delicious! Fresh fruit juice including acai berry juice, vegetable juice, orange juice, coffee and tea was also available during the breakfast buffet. Next to Family Mart is a staircase leading down to the underground shopping mall and it connects to the Meitetsu train station, subway and JR lines. Look out for Exit U10 when retuning to the hotel. It was a comfortable stay and the hotel has free spa as well for guests.

Very nice option in central city.”

Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable.

I needed a convenient stopover for a night in Nagoya, and the Royal Park exceeded expectations. It's just a short walk from Nagoya station, easy to find. I didn't try the restaurant or bar, but there are a lot of other choices nearby and a convenience store right in the building. The rooms are decent-sized for Japan, with all the usual amenities, including a refrigerator. Everything was clean and comfortable, and for center city, amazingly quiet. You can use a set of pajamas and slippers to go to the hotel's public bath -- a nice, and unusual, feature. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. I'd be happy to stay here again if I pass through Nagoya.

Great location by the Nagoya station, although I would recommend Sakae for nightlife. Royal park is always a solid choice. I would suggest to the hotel manager that they declutter the lobby of all the pamphlets and advertisements. This hotel feels 4 star except for the arrival experience.

Nice Location and comfort hotel”

Location, Cleanliness, Staff

The hotel is about 7/8 minutes walk from nagoya station. Convenient to travel around by train or bus. Closed to Takashimaya,a nice shopping area. There are lots of shops and cafe underdround. Enter the exit 10 in front of the hotel and walk along the underground. You may reach Takashimaya in a short while. Just the shopping and eateries around, can spend a whole day here. For travellers who carry a huge luggage, find the hotel from the sakura-dori main road. Undergroung walk is not suitable, lots of staircases without escalator. Hotel staff speak English fluently and very helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Free WIFI at the whole hotel area. Breakfast with variety of foods. A family mart at the first floor and connected to the hotel. The only dissatisfaction is the public bath for female, too limited space. A long queue at all times. No washing machine provided but they will collect laundry every morning with charges.

Good Hotel with good facilities”

Good location even it's a bit distance from Nagoya station, One of the front staff was excellent service mind as I asked the older lady shoes product for my mom which is not Nagoya product, he call several times to find it and finally found one at the small dessert exhibition in the local mall, Very impressed however i didn't recognize his name, Arigatou. Other service excellent was when I request the iron & board on the first visit then on my return it also still set up in my room, how care they are! Sukoi So only one thing that quite effect my travel was location out of that this hotel is excellent at all.

Nice, clean, 5 minutes walking distance from Nagoya station. ”

The hotel is 5 minutes walking from Nagoya station, & it was easy to find. If you carry luggage with you it may take longer. The staff ware friendly and professional. The room was immaculate. The size of the room was good too. The beds were comfy and the amenities were great. We only stayed for a night so we didn't get the chance to use hotel's facilities. There is a family mart, Seven Eleven & a big pharmacy just outside the hotel. Unimall (underground shopping is only meters away from the hotel). One of us was unwell during the stay, the reception helped us find a doctor nearby who can speak English & made the appointment for us. Overall it was a great experience staying in this hotel.

Close to Nagoya station, helpful staff & big bathroom

It's very close to the Nagoya JR station and very walkable distance and condition of the road so no need to take taxi even if u have big luggage unless raining heavily. It is after a huge bookstore and if u look out for that walking from the station u will definitely find it. Very good attitude from staff who helped me looked up the prices for shipping throug courier and Japan post. Friendly and approachable! Room has very nice bed and also one of the most pleasant bathroom. It also uses Mikimoto shampoo & conditioner! That's luxurious for a 4 star hotel! Lovely place. I'll be back!

Nice hotel in a good location”

Location was excellent, good service and cleanliness of hotel,

Hotel was nice and clean. Location was excellent. There's a underground mall entrance just at the doorstep of the hotel which links to the main Nagoya station. The mall has nice shopping and also a few cafes with nice coffee and food. Just diagonal from the hotel was the Toyota car rental shop where we rented and returned the rental car - very convenient. The only problem is that the room and beds provided were small - the double bed was more like a super single, and not really queen size. Room was quite squeezy and we hardly had space to put our luggages.

Second visit. Never disappoints me. ”

Thanks Agoda Points I have a very attractive price to stay here. I have to take the train in Nagoya station in the morning so the location suits me very well. Although no breakfast was included I was able to enjoy breakfast in the underground shopping mall, which is just right next to the hotel entrance. The room was a bit small but it's not the smallest I encountered in Japan. The FamilyMart on G/F was very convenient too.

Good location and great for group”

The hotel was great with rooms that were big to open at least 2 big luggages and still have room to walk for the doublebed room option. The staffs were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The location is around 10 minutes walk from the JR NAGOYA station. But there’s underground way to walk in case of rain, however, there’s no lift from the nearest exit to the hotel. Overall, the hotel was great.

Nice and very clean hotel near Nagoya station. Accessible through Unimall underground exit U10, so you will be largely sheltered in rainy weather conditions. The staff are helpful and they even sell boxes for 200-250 yen for all the stuff you bought and didn't think about how to bring it back home. Comes with a hot bath that opens till 2am!

Access to Nagoya Station/Airport & Shopping Centers. Clean & Value for Money

We stayed only for one night - cleam room - though a bit small. Very easy access to Nagoya Station via underground Mall - if you can find it from the Nagoya Station on your first trip there :). However, it took us a hour to get there from Nagoya Station because web-site says "Above Unimall Exit No 10". We use the underground connecting walkways from Nagoya station, Was mislead as there are many signs that show "EXIT 10" - and they are actually referring to EXIT 10 of the subway station - not Unimall. We ended up in Nagoya Lucent Tower - above Exit 10 of Nagoya Station.
