Fantastic hotel”
This hotel is a fantastic value in the heart of Fukuoka. It's no more than a 10 minute walk to Hakata station (the main rail station), right across the street from a convenience store, and down the street from a bus stop that will take you to the stadium and Fukuoka tower. The room is pretty spacious compared to a typical Japanese hotel. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is extremely clean. The bathroom is a standard western style bathroom, not a tiny module bathroom that's common in Japan. The receptionist was also very courteous and helpful. He helped us find a hot spring and booked an appointment for us. Overall, very nice hotel! Would definitely recommend.

Most Value for Money Hotel in Fukuoka”
Visited Fukuoka a few times and finally found the best value hotel. Stayed for 4 nights at Royal Hotel this time with room rate around US$100/night only. Great price given its location (less than 5 mins walk to subway and JR station), room comfort (adequate air-conditioning) and space (generous room size and with separate shower and bathtub) and helpful staff (help me call and make all restaurant reservations when I check in). Will definitely stay here whenever I visited Fukuoka again!!

Engkush speaking helpful and efficient staff”
This is the reasio why we rebook this hotel when we returned to fukuoka. It was 100m from hakata station. Just cross the road or use the underground train access to go across, keep right and about 80 m you skewed towards right side and you see the hotel. View was not the best but still central to station and canal city, There is a family mart right infront of the hotel. When you walk another 5 to 10minutes you will see the canal city shopopng mall. Room larger than most hotels. 25 to 27m squared. Bathtub separate from toilet. Has both tub and shower facilities. Breakfast buffet is mixed western japanese, gourmet coffee so more than sufficient. We had breakfast most days but skip the lunch cis too full after breakfadt. However, this gives us opportunity to savour japanese snacks.

Nice hotel for Hakata standards but not cheap”
Last year we were in Tokyo in THE Royal Park Hotel for a full week so I thought we could not be wrong with another stay at one of the "THE Royal Park" hotels. We got what we expected: nice room, clean, comfortable. The location was OK but not exactly excellent. It takes you a good 8 minutes walk to get to the hotel from the Station. Not perfect for large suitcases. Staff was friendly and you notice you're not in Tokyo as staff probably have more Japanese visitors there. However, we managed to get along with each other's language skills and got an acceptable communication. If you travel to the Kyushu area, I can definitely recommend this hotel. What you need to know is that in the Kyushu area there still seem to be a lot of smokers restaurants which is a pity. It seemed to me that for example in Tokyo there were not as many smokers restaurants anymore. I don't know if this has to do with the quantity of tourists they have.

Convenient place to stay”
The Fukuoka Royal Park Hotel is about $15 by taxi or two subway stops (Kuko Line) from the airport. It is about an eight minute to walk to Hakata Station where one can once again catch the Kuko subway to places like Tenjin (high to moderate shopping, lots of young people and places to eat). It is also walking distance (about 10 minutes) from Canal City (high end shopping) and to the Kawabata Shopping arcade (an old style shopping area with more traditional Japanese items). Excellent gyoza restaurant next door (only gyoza, drinks and chicken wings)...but close enough to a myriad of places to eat and shop at the Hakata station complex. Make sure to walk through the Hakata station to more restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is clean, new and comfortable. The room was always fresh and clean after our outings. On the moderate end of pricing for hotels in the area.

comfortable ”
The hotel is near to the main train station and bus station within 5 min walking distance. Hotel are helpful as we have store our luggage after we check out the hotel for 2 days as we can't carry to much to Yufuin. Hotel condition very new morden it have also self service for laundry and vandinmachine on the second floor. It need access card for lift access & also room to each floor so it is very safe. Opposite of the hotel is the convenient store call LAWSON you can get anything there and it also have restaurants on the hotel surrounding & bar but I can't get enough to try out all. I will stay again this hotel for my next visit to Fukuoka.

Slept well”
Searched a hotel somewhere in Canal City area via Agoda, and was shown a couple "fare deal"s and randomly picked this hotel. Giving it a 4.6 star rating! The Hotel staffs are very friendly. Washer and Dryer (separately) are available 24/7. Most importantly, we all slept very well that one night stay. Lawson market is just a cross the street, and the alley fills with alots of ramen shops. :D yummy. Had to walk about 6-7 minutes to Hakata Station mall and also to Canal city. So it's like between the two big malls. The bed is amazing, very firm bed (u know not too soft or hard) , fluffy pillows. Separate shower and toilet. very recommended and is now one of my fave hotels to stay!

Location location location”
We had a very plesant 5 nights in July at the hotel. We were early and there were no rooms available, we were able to store our luggage and then directed by Ms Nogutchi,( who was proficient in English) of front office to the various places we could visit prior to checking in at 2pm. We had a nice stroll to JR Hakata City to look at the shops and had lunch amongst the 2 floors of dining (9 & 10th flr) of varied and delicious restaurants. We were promptly checked in at 2pm and our room a Corner Double was conveniently located. The room was relatively large for a Japanese Hotel and adequately furnished, I personally liked the Shower/Bath combo which was separated (rare for Jap hotel) and my wife loved the very comfortable bed and the heated fully equipped WC!

Absolutely a right choice”
Convenient location where it is only a few minutes walk to Hakata station. The washroom is big enough which it is quite friendly for a family with two kids and the bathing facility is new and clean. The drawback is only the breakfast wasn’t had much variety for kids. Anyway, I’ll choose this hotel again if I come back to Fukuoka.

Exceptional”
The hotel is located between Canal City and Hakata Station. Both places are just a 10 minute walk. This was very convenient for us, as we took the shinkansen for day trips outside Fukuoka, and spent our evenings eating and shopping at Canal City.

Execellent value”
This is a high quality hotel, which is located at 5 mins easy walk from Hakata Station (also 5 mins walk to Hakata Canal City) Execellent value for its twin-bed room and bed is super comfy. The hotel offered earlier check-in for me too.

First Stay in Royal Park Fukuoka”
Excellent location, very convenient from train station and to shopping mall. First stay in this hotel although being stayed with other Royal Park Hotel many times, staff's English is fair but work very hard to help. Breakfast is acceptable but have to pay extra for egg option.

Brilliant hotel @ Hakata”
This is my second time at this great hotel @ heart of Hakata. The best part of this hotel is services. Staffs are able to communicate in English very well fluent. This is high above Japanese average. My son got an accident and needed to go hospital and staffs help us a lot. This is a hotel really worth to stay.

Good hotel”
The staffs are very nice and the room is tidy and clean. The hotel is well located in a calm side-street but very close to Hakata Station. It takes just a few minutes walk to get there. It is very convenient. The room could be more spacious if the bathroom were smaller. As it is, the bathtub has doubled its size by a shower area, which is not necessary for a room of this size. It would be much better if the windows were not locked so that anyone who wants to could get a breath of fresh air from outside, for the ventilation of the room is rather weak.
