Words alone could never describe how fantastic this place is! We had our own pool villa and had all the privacy two people could ever ask for! The staff should all get raises! Every single staff member we encountered were very friendly and very helpful and no matter what we needed or asked for. You could shop till you drop and never ever find a nicer, cleaner, more beautiful place to stay in Indonesia!

I just got back to the US from Bali and am still enamored by what I experienced. The Royal Purnama exceeded my expectations. From the staff hospitality, to the quality of the food, to the serenity of the hotel environment and everything in between- I would surely book another stay in the future without hesitation. My villa was as advertised and the grounds are just as stunning in photos as they are in pictures. If you are looking to have a relaxing/romantic vacation in Bali but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas, you need not look any further.

Awesome experience, great hospitality ”
Upon arrival, greeted friendly by the reception staffs. Provided great services. Villa is big, love the bathroom and shower area. Bed is conformable. We have enjoyed all the dining offers in the resort (high tea in the garden, happy hour cocktail & beer near the pool side.) Dinner cuisine in the restaurant was delicious especially the Indonesian cuisine. Next day, we have our floating breakfast in our pool villa. Special thanks to the kitchen staffs as we requested floating breakfast to be served as early as 6.30am, as we are catching flight to avoid the traffic as the locals are celebrating prayers for their Nyepi day. Breakfast served on time, we enjoyed with lots of photos taken. Check out smoothly, and this is truly a resort for relaxation. The only small regret is that we not able to enjoy the spa services as booking is fulled with shortage of spa staffs on duty that day. Hope to enjoy spa service on next visit to Bali. Overall, we had so much fun in the resort.

Magical stay”
We are here for out 25th wedding anniversary. We could not have picked a better place. Shuttle to Sanur or Ubud twice a day is handy but no need to leave this resort. Would stay again with no hesitations.

Wonderful stay with great amenities. The restaurant and villas are absolutely gorgeous. Location is a bit of an issue if you want to use Grab (there is a taxi group that blocks ride-sharing services). Would recommend if you plan to stay and make use of the hotel and all its amenities.

Stayed at Cempaka one bedroom villa for 4 nights. The Balinese styled room felt luxurious, the beautiful private pool blending with the nature and the bathroom is equipped with rain shower and a big bath tub that could accommodate two persons. Staff are friendly, caring and provide excellent service. Barry (General Manager), Dian (Events Manager) and team went the extra mile to arrange a rooftop romantic dinner with fireworks for my proposal, accommodating to my needs and executing my plan perfectly, creating some wonderful memories for me and my fiance. They also made special decorative setup in the room to mark my special occasion. Also enjoyed the daily rooftop Yoga (Free) and Traditional Balinese Massage as a couple. Would certainly recommend this place to couples who want a romantic vacation.

Great villa!”
Came here during my trip To ubud, initially I didn’t think this place was so far from ubud. The resort itself is amazing the villas are breathtaking and clean! The staff are fantastic and prompt. My only con is the location it is secluded so if you want to get to ubud center it’s about an hour drive and there are no markets or mini marts near by if you plan to venture in the area. Lastly grab and gojek are able to drop you off here but being picked up the locals won’t allow. The hotel uses the local taxi which they charge 300rupiah to ubud market but you can talk them down to 200. Just something to think about getting around will cost you much much more if you plan on leaving the resort. Beach is sacred so no swimming and surf is allowed but is very nice.

Excellent resort and staff”
We stayed for 4 nights in their 1 bedroom villa. The villa itself is amazing - the bedroom, pool, living room and toilet everything! The staff were extremely courteous and always eager to help. Overall it was a great stay! The only improvement possibility is the menu from the restaurant (although we only had breakfast there, no lunch or dinner). But still it was good enough to have a good start to the day.

Manager, waiter, cook, driver, cleaning and maintenance etc were very helpful and attentive. the food was excellent and refined. just a little expensive compared to europe. the place is a bit isolated from the center and its shops but quiet and quiet. a free shuttle connects sanur and Ubud twice daily. I think I will spend more time next time I come to Bali.

Great villa and well trained staff ”
We were staying in a villa with private pool. The facilities and the environment were excellent. No mosquitoe around the villa even though it is situated in a rather remote area. Staff are well trained and always have a smile on their faces. We had free morning yoga, dinner and spa there. They also provided floating breakfast (with costs), which completed our Bali experience!
