Small hotel next to Rugby School”

Hotel is ideally located just next to Rugby school. It was perfect location for us since we had to visit the school. Hotel has a pub inside and reception is nice. From outside it looks like a typical english inn. Rooms are ok. Simple. However, they would need to be refurbished as they look old. Reception is nice and efficient. Breakfast is ok too.

Great location”

The staff were brilliant. Room was small but very clean. Bar was great and reasonable prices. Great location easy access to all amenities around. I would recommend this place, we will definitely be back soon, we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay with central location”

This was booked for my partner elderly father for Christmas, so he could come out for a few day. He has stayed in 2 others previous in rugby, but said this was his favourite .

Perfect location”

We chose this hotel for its location as we were visiting family and did not have our own transport. The restaurant had a varied and interesting menu, if a little pricey, and the comfortably furnished bar served snacks and sandwiches. Our room was quite small but adequate and comfortable, the shower room serviceable and clean enough although looked very much in need of refurbishment. Housekeeping generally appeared a little haphazard. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking again in the future.

Convenient location. ”

Staff were outstanding. Lobby, bar and restaurant areas were lovely. The food was excellent. Room was a little dated but it's an old hotel and was very clean. I'd stay again.

Its OK”

Right in the middle of Rugby where your choice of hotels is limited. Helpful staff, good breakfast, cheap hotel but rooms in need of update

Tiny bathroom, noisy room due to nearby nightlife ”

Disappointed with size of bathroom - tighter than my touring caravan - allocated room on noisy side of hotel - Comfortable bed - Hotel in excellent location, very clean and breakfast excellent.

Small rooms, Great location”

The hotel apparently has a long history and the rooms are old and small, but overall the stay is not too bad for single business traveler. The location is great as it's close to all amenities from Asda to pubs. Also quite close to train station (5 minutes' drive).

Acceptable”

The worst hotel I have ever been! Receptionist, when I wanted check-out said me that had problems with system and couldn't generate invoice. He promised to send it via e-mail next day - no problem. Of course I have no the invoice yet - this is unbelievable and unacceptable. It was business trip and I have to provide the invoice to my company. I called the hotel many times, they promised (of course) to send it as soon as possible, 2 months I have no invoice! I recommend you all to not choice the hotel. Best regards, Have a nice day!
