Amazing stay!”

Location, cleanliness, facilities

We had such an amazing time at the sailing bay. Staff were helpful in making sure that we have the best stay. Its located right next to a beach which can be accessed from the resort's pool. Room is amazing and had a great view of the beach. Will definitely come back here again! RECOMMENDED!

A great place to relax”

Our family has a 3-day and 2-night stay here and register 5 rooms. First of all, I would like to thank Resort for flexibly upgrading 3 rooms to deluxe (only 2 Deluxe rooms are available at the time of booking and we have small children who wish to stay close to each other). Very great resort: long beach, large beautiful pool, varied breakfast, room with large balcony. Only a minus point is that the Jacuzzi does not work in the pool area, the room on the first floor (1103) is always wet even if it is cleaned, the air conditioner is not working well (1107). Overall, the resort is great and suitable for price. We will definitely come back soon.

Chilled out beach, pool and sun”

Staff, Pool and Comfort

We were brought to the location on two motorbikes with our massive suitcases and couldn't believe where we were staying. Hotel looked, and was amazing! Especially given the incredible rate which we got the room for! Hotel has an amazing pool and right on the beach (although the beach is pretty dirty). Problems were it was a good 20 min drive from the main strip. We were looking for a chilled stay after a few hectic days in Saigon and it ticked the boxes. There was little atmosphere around though, but to be honest even after a trip into Mui Ne there wasn't much happening there either.

A great hotel with lovely beach”

Beach. Swimming pool. And great room

We were a bit unfortunate when we arrived the hotel since we were having diarrhea. And the sickness made us very much hotel bond. Hence we really love the swimming pool and the beach in front of the hotel. The hotel is located kind of out of town, where it provides shuttle service to the town of Mui Ne (but time is not so frequent). You can get some supplies (water, beer) from Mui Ne and then enjoy them in the hotel, at the beach. :) Overall, it is a great hotel.

Relaxing and great getaway from bustling cities”

Beach, View from room, Privacy

Sailing Bay is a beautiful resort with a private beach. Great if you are looking for peace and quiet getaway. Not a good idea if you're looking for food and nightlife because it's secluded. We were very satisfied with the room (except that the shower water wasn't hot only lukewarm at best) and the view but the hotel food was definitely not 4-star and the management seriously needs to consider teaching their staff basic English. The guy in charged of the egg station at breakfast didn't know what scrambled eggs were. =/ Considering it's remote location, the hotel should also provide shuttle to town closer to dinner time (last shuttle out is about 2ish pm and returns about 4ish pm). Also, USD30 to rent a surfboard for an hour is ridiculous. Other than that, perfect getaway location - waves, beach, new hotel, new interior

Nice location definitely 4 Star worth ”

Huge hotel rooms, nice facility, pool and ocean

These facility is definitely 4 Stars worth and the balance of price and offer are reasonable. These location is supposed to be a quiet place to relax with the whole family. It was a nice 3 days stay and we are almost ok. The food in the hotel restaurant are not 4 Stars worth. The kite surfer at these hotel beach are quite annoying and have no respect for swimmers in the water. They just surfing dangerous and crazy. These time the hotel was full of Russian citizens, but nice family's with the right understanding of doing vacation. Of course the funny thing is always the towels on the pool sun lounger early in the morning, but in the east block quite ok. All in all it was an relaxing time for my family and i will try the next time these hotel in off season.

Relax spot”

We were looking for a quite time and this place was it. It's a short taxi ride from "town." The hotels restaurant is overpriced and the food is below-average. We ate there when it was necessary. The "gym" is bare bones. I would suggest not staying in the "standard" room; which is part of the old hotel; in small semi-detached villas just north of the 5 newer, 4-storey buildings. Pay a little extra and stay in the newer block buildings "deluxe..." Tennis racquets are rented at $400,000 VND ($20USD), which is high. Bicycles are apparently free to rent but we only learned about it On our last day. There's a little convenience store just across the street from the hotel which will rent you a scooter for $10USD. In comparison, the racquet rental is 2x the price of a 24 he scooter rental.

Looks new and quite location away from central Muine.”

We were offered upgraded room upon request for rooms nearby beach without extra charge. We stayed here satisfactorily and recommend their management to improve a bit for housekeeping, bike to be ready to use but some was broken and midway backed hotel. With big balcony facing seaside was nice and can view sunrise but we missed due to cloudy in the morning. Quite large swimming pool but a bit cold, so we do not swim much. If you look for quiet place with reasonable range of price, this is the hotel you look for. With & red sand dune is quite nearby.

Above average”

Room AC didn't work well. Except for us, patrons were entirely Russian on package trip, rudest people on the planet: cut in front of us in buffet line, and, most infuriating, would "stake their claim" to a poolside chaise first thing in the AM by placing a towel on it. Then they would disappear for lengthy periods, rendering the chairs useless to others. I fault the hotel for this, as they have no policy in place. Another minor pain was the absence of a bartender when the bar was open. Throughout the day I had to hunt him/her down to get a beer. Drinks were pricey for VN as well! The "gym" was pretty poor too, lousy eqpt. I can say one positive thing: the bellman was friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. The physical facility was very nice and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was good. Beach was nice, but quite a bit of trash on it. Could have stayed much cheaper closer to Phan Thiet at a facility of comparable quality, with MUCH easier access to restaurants, bars

Sailing Bay”

This hotel is extremely beautiful. It is right on the beach, and the pool was an absolute favorite for me. The food on the other had was not the greatest I’ve tasted, in fact I was disappointed in every meal I ordered. I resorted to getting seafood on the beach from locals which was way more delicious and cheaper. The bars were closed most of the time and options were limited. The hotel is far from other restaurants or bars so there’s not much of an option. For a 4 star hotel I expected more.

Disappointing stay from beginning to end. ”

New, big rooms, close to the beach

This resort does not deserve it's four star ranking. Despite having all the appearances of a top notch resort, the Sailing Bay is something much less. The management was woefully incompetent, the beach filthy, the language barrier worse than on the streets, & the wifi only able to chug along at dial up speeds. The manager of the hotel was aweful with communication. Fast order laundry ended up taking a full 24 hours, I got coaxed into a "holiday gala" without being told of its high price on the first night when all I requested was a quick dinner, & the manager forgot to return my passport upon checkout (incurring an expensive return trip taxi ride). The first thing to fix with such basic communication problems would be to replace the manager with someone truly bilingual, who respects the difference between a luxury resort and a simple hotel. Four star resorts are not worth the extra cost when they are this sloppy! To be sure, the hotel is a great piece of property with lots of potential. Under new management, perhaps, it might actually be worth the 4-star designation.

A wonderful location for seeing sunrise, just walk to the hotel beach by the side. Buffect dinner is cheap. Location is not conveniece to dine out but the hotel has only 2 restaurants that not much choice. Also menu is limited to one ! Beautiful out look of every room, using big glass as door and window, so give feeling of updated and openess. Very good at that price.

Nice view, nice room, nice swimming pool

The resort is nice (from the front view, look like a palace) but quite far from the center of Mui Ne so if you want to go eat outside you must use taxi. Resort have only 1 restaurant. The breakfast also doesn't have many choice, when we come at around 8:30, everything almost finished. Anyways, it's nice place for relax.

Clean, good value for money and quiet

Very good hotel and value for money. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The location is a bit out of the way but you can rent a motorbike for 200000d per day. If your looking for a quiet trip away this is a very nice hotel to just relax and chill. Only negative the food is a little expensive but this should be expected in a 4 star hotel.

Surprised ”

Wonderful pagoda bar overlooking the South China Sea but no drinks, staff had to go 100m to the restaurant every time anyone ordered. The restaurant providing reheated frozen meals (pizza, chicken cordon bleu)... staff whilst courteous seemed disinterested. I understand my stay was at the end of the Tet Holiday, however I would have expected more from a 4 Star resort. The presenration of the resort is beautiful, great pool, well manicured lawns and gardens, rooms large and airy and clean. A pleasant stay, but they could do better.

Relaxing Atmosphere + Free Upgrade”

Big Pool; Cozy Room; Relaxing Atmosphere

We spent there 3 Nights even we planned just 2 Nights cause I felt immediately bad after the second Breakfast and got bad diarrhea - so we need to stay one more night ; canceled our Bus & Hotel for the Departure we planned. Fortunately we got a free Upgrade on Arrival so just need to pay the Price for Standard Room for the third Night. I felt the Staff can't handle with my Situation and my Health. At least we got a Apology & free Drinks from the Hotel Manager but they treated me like i am a Liar and that it was not their fault even i just ate the Food from the Restaurant at that Morning. We enjoyed our stay until that Accident very much - the Resort is Beautiful, the Pool is big and the Room is so cozy with a nice interior and bath. The Main Waiter in the Restaurant was so attentively, professionel and very nice - he showed the best behaviour of all of their staff. Such a Friendly and nice guy. Even brought the birthday cake of my gf to our Room. He always show a nice behaviour and payed so much attention on the little things. The other Staff should improve their Attitude / Skills!
