We reserved a room at YMCA Salisbury for our last night in mainland China before returning to Canada. When we arrived with our heavy luggage around 2pm, our room was not yet ready for check-in. The friendly staff suggested that we leave our luggage in the lobby (free of charge) and go sightseeing. The Tsim Sha Tsui metro stop exit L6 is just steps away, making it very convenient to access the metro service. There are also many bus lines nearby. We returned to check-in in the evening and were pleasantly surprised to find that our room faced Victoria Harbour, offering a gorgeous night view of Hong Kong! We were given a coupon for a free drink on the 4th-floor terrace. Our double room was spacious (about 150 sq ft) and clean, with nicely maintained facilities. To get hot water for a shower, we had to switch on the heater before entering the bathroom and then switch it off after use. We appreciated this environmental protection practice. We loved Hong Kong and would like to explore it more. We hope to stay at YMCA Salisbury again next time.

Every time I visit Hong Kong, I always stay at this hotel. It offers good value for money. This time, I booked a room with a harbour view, and I can watch the Symphony of Lights from my room without any sound. If the hotel had a small window that could be opened to hear the sound, it would be perfect. The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

Right by an MTR station exit, the Star Ferry terminal, and just steps from the ave of star, it made getting around Hong Kong incredibly convenient. For the price, I felt I got great value, especially considering other hotels in the area. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a spacious room with a separate living area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The view facing the Victoria Harbour was lovely, and while the Hong Kong Cultural Centre partially blocked it, I still enjoyed watching the activity on the water. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at The Salisbury. If you're looking for a well-located and affordable hotel in Hong Kong with comfortable rooms and helpful staff, I highly recommend it!

The hotel is in great location, nice room, good breakfast, I just do not understand one thing about the cleaning. The evening when I arrived, ( Thursday)I did drink a coffee in the room, on the next day’s morning, I did drink a coffee too. (I had paid breakfast but I had a trip early morning) They did not replace the coffee cups until Sunday and did not give new towel or made up the bed, but They brought away the trash every day. So that is all.

The hotel itself is amazing, boasting wonderfully built common facilities and well-maintained, spacious rooms. However, what truly elevated my stay was the staff. I can only assume The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong carefully handpicked the best of the best. They were all so naturally welcoming, like when the front desk staff helped me navigate the local public transportation system.
