Was great. Hiew is also an architect, he designed this hotel himself and every detail has been carefully thought through. They prepared different breakfasts every morning. A very friendly, professionally run family business. Security is top notch. Access to the center is very easy. We recommend the Grab app for taxi.

A hidden gem in Langkawi which is on par or even better than a five star resorts. Totally exceeds our expectations. The villa is very spacious and situated in between villages and padi fields. Cleanliness is top notch. Host is very friendly and lives at the property itself. Breakfast is of local delicacies and we enjoy every bit of it. Thank you for the great hospitality and the sweet memories, will definitely come back again.
The road leading to the villa fits only 1 vehicles at a time but with a bit of considerate driving followed by a wave and smile on any oncoming vehicles, it would not be an issue.

Villa is quite spacious and I give 10/10 for cleanliness. Host was very friendly and even recommended few cafe and restaurants. Breakfast was provided every day. We stayed for 4 days 3 nights so host prepared Malay, Chinese and Indian breakfast variety, couldn’t ask for more. It was a pleasant and enjoyable trip. Will definitely book this place again for my next trip to Langkawi.

love all things. The friendliness, apartment, amenities, and breakfast. Cannot barely locate any dust, everything is absolutely clean. Breakfast was modest but excellent. Kampung-style nasi lemak, pastries with butter and jam, milk, drinks, coffee milo, and more. The aspect I enjoy the most is privacy. Apart from the owners' family and us, there were no other people in the apartment. Definitely coming back

What a gem of a place - Warm hosts, 10/10 cleanliness, amazing views of lush greenery and peaceful environment.
Only one minor inconvenience - Need clearer directions to get there. We lost our way initially as Waze and Google Maps couldn’t pin the right location but thanks to Hiew (owner & host), we reached safely. Key landmarks to look out for is The Villa Langkawi and Hornbill Retreat. The village road is a single car’s width but easy to manoeuvre if you’re patient and observant.

The location is just a perfect gateway for a relaxing holiday. It's still close enough by car to Chenang Beach, shops and restaurants but you are still sorrounded by nature. It's a private villa so you get ample privacy with the facility such as the swimming pool all to yourself. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with the sound of nature waking you up every morning. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We love the nasi lemak, kuih, pastry and drinks. The host Mr Hiew was even kind enough to upgrade our room which we are forever grateful for. We even get to play around with the host friendly cats Mimi and Kiki..

Such a beautiful-designed villa with short distance drive to pantai cenang. The whole villa is so spacious, quiet and clean. We spent two nights here. The host, Mr Hiew, upgraded our room since no other guests staying in the suite. He is really friendly and always provide us some recommendation on the hotspot or must eat places. Highly recommended for everyone.
