3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service”
This hotel was a wonderful surprise after staying in many upmarket hotels in and around the same location over the years in Bangkok. What sets The Sathon Vimanda apart from the luxury brands is its boutique feel and home grown customer service. It undeniably has some of the friendliest smiling english speaking staff I have encountered in my travels. The rooms are reasonably sized, cosily furnished and extremely clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The restaurant prepares western breakfasts and although the menu isn't extensive, it has a good mix of local dishes at very reasonable prices and open till late. It's the little things that matter these days and all of my requests were seen to without any fuss. A real gem that will be sure to please considering the nightly cost and the smiles are Free.

The Sathon Vimanda is both convenient and comfortable for those who have business in Sathon area. The hotel situates near a market where you can various kinds of food to suit your taste. The hotel's security is very good but simple. The room is clean and cozy. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely, Comfortable Hotel”
This was my third time staying at The Sathon Vimanda. The rooms are large & clean with a safe, mini refrigerator, a flat screen TV & fast WiFi. There’s plenty of street food in the area, as well as moderately-priced restaurants, popular bars, jewelry stores, massage places & the ever present 7-11s & Family Marts. It’s also accessible to Soi Convent (where Eat Me & Vesper are located), Silom Center & the Sala Deang BTS, as I often walked to those places. The staff is unfailingly kind, both housekeeping & at reception. They routinely arranged Grab Taxis for me, until I finally downloaded the app on my cell phone. The lobby is tastefully decorated. I can’t comment on breakfast, as it wasn’t included in my price (& I usually ate the delicious street food). For the price, I find it great value for what you get.

Chic hotel with free shuttle to the nearest BTS ”
Pros: clean modern hotel (they clean the rooms daily), mostly friendly staff, free snacks and drinks, free shuttle to the nearest BTS station Cons: the shower area tends to clog, bed is kind of hard, WiFi not as fast (probably because we stayed at the 5F, the guy staff at night is not helpful or accommodating at all, no free breakfast options for vegetarians / pescetarians Overall, we love our stay at The Sathon Vimanda Hotel. Free shuttle to the nearest BTS station is a big help considering it takes about 20 mins by foot. You have to find your own way going back though.

Good place in Sathon area”
Room is spacy, good location in Sathon. Affordable food court is just around the corner. However it takes 20-30mins to go to central bangkok by taxi. No BTS/metro/train station nearby. Expect traffic on the main road in the morning and evening since its located in business area. If you are only going to visit places near Sathon area, then this is the suitable place for you.

Nice client hotel- far from BTS”
The hotel is a small boutique hotel off Suan Plu road. When telling your taxing driver, tell them Suan Plu soi 3 (soi saam). The decor is very chic, but the beds were a little hard (thai standard). Bathrooms were on the smaller side, but for the price paid, it's a fair hotel. If you walk to the main road (suan plu), there are shops and food vendors, so you won't go hungry. Only downside is that it's not hear a BTS station. Uber was our best way to get around. Taxi will try to rip you off if you catch them from any touristy place. If you flag one down on the street, chances are better that they will use the meter, but if they don't, either get out or agree to an amount ahead of time. This wasn't my first time in BKK and I speak the language fluently, but was still ripped off by taxi drivers, so beware.

lovely stay with professional service”
me and my boyfriend first wanted to stay here for just 3 nights and then we decided to drop our booked hotel in huahin to stay here for another 2 nights. A lovely hotel with professional service, what we really like here is the free complementary drinks (tea, coffee and snacks) until 10 AM and after that you have to pay just 20-80 baht or so. there is also the restaurant in the hotel, tasty one. Another thing we like it here is although the hotel is far from BTS/MRT, they offers the free shuttle to BTS and it's not hard to catch taxi or bus from hotel. The staffs here are also so friendly and helpful. The room is clean and quite. We would like to come back if we go back to thailand again !

Great Room, Poor Service.”
The check-in was not smooth at all. Even if I arrive at the Hotel earlier (12 noon) then the standard check-in, I tough the staff could have helped me more efficiently to getting in faster. I was first provided with a room with no window, even if I clearly booked a room with a window. It seems to have been done on purpose, and The Manager (trying to convince me) dared to told me I was actually upgraded (which is wrong both rooms were the same price at the time of my booking. He finally found a room with a window and a double bed as requested but when I get in, the room was still dirty. Another staff from the front desk came up and helped the cleaner to get the room in order which was appreciated. The room was beautiful and quite confortable, except (as others mentioned) the bed, which simply need a topper, available in any HomePro in Bangkok. The next day I didn't get my room cleaned as I placed a Do Not Disturb sign which was normal, but when I came to the front desk it took me some argumentation again before to get two bottles of water which they always give as a turndown. My stay was good, but the service needs some improvement with more confidence in guest contact and problem solving.

Hidden gem”
Great 2 night break in Bangkok before we moved on to Vietnam. Room was really nice, comfortable beds and very clean. Staff helpful with providing maps and information and generally just very helpful with everything. Location is great - walking distance to Lumphini Park and easy to pick up cabs for other destinations. Lots of great places to eat on main road, we really liked Naga restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel not very good but that was our only grumble. Free hot drinks in foyer which was a nice touch.

Great Boutique Hotel off the beaten path”
This is a great value hotel in Sathorn. However, it is a little off the beaten path. We stayed for 10 days and were very happy but you will need to walk and use taxi service. The hotel will get you a free shuttle to the BTS but you need to walk back. You get a local neighborhood feel. The staff was very helpful with the exception of a man that greeted us the night we arrived with many bags. He didn't help with the door, he didn't move. The bed is hard (Thailand style) however the water is hot and pressure is good.

+ staff! I have no idea why people think that the staff esp at the reception is unfriendly. They helped as they can (room change, taxi, shuttle, food delivery service...) + water out of glass bottles + towel change every day + shuttle service to the next bts + breakfast (tea, coffee, water, eggs (your decide), toast, 2 types of jam, butter, watermelon, potato, 2 sausages (which I haven't tried). + hotel design + very calm area +big bed (could be softer) - many rooms are without windows so be beware what you book

Beautìul hotel”
The room is very clean, tidy and beautiful. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. They support us at any time and help us to find the cheapest service (airport car rental). The only thing that we need to recommend you when booking this hotel is the location. Too far to any attractions in BKK. However, hotel has free shuttle bus to Silom MRT or Sala Daeng BTS from 7am - 6pm. Once the car is out of work, staff gives me 150 baht to take the taxi or tuk tuk to the nearest station. Be back next time.

Comfort, Nice Modern Hotel”
Nice decorated hotel in Sathon, highly recommend. The rooms was comfortable, tidy and clean. Staffs were polite and friendly. The meals pretty tasty than outside, coffee is OK. Its little far away from BTS/MRT, but hotel has free shuttle service. We are enjoyed to stay this hotel. Definitely will come back again!

This is one of the nicest, cleanest, friendliest hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The service was immaculate, the rooms comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is a little far from some of Bangkok's main attractions but this is more than made up for by its overall excellence.

Cute nice place with reasonable price”
It was only a quick weekend getaway. It was a bit hard to find because it looks like you have just turned into an alley. Tho even the neighbor has really cool decor, can't miss it. They ran out of a single queen so they gave me 2 double beds, fine by me. The A/C was working perfectly, the room is very decent sized. I like bed not too soft and they have nice beds. It looked and felt clean. Hot water is always available. I have a room with no view which I don't mind at all since it didn't smell bad. I really like darker rooms so I can sleep till when my heart content. There are 7-11s nearby and loads of shops for noodles soups, rice and snacks. There are food late at night as well. You can find motor-taxi rather easily. I had very little interactions with the staff but they are all very friendly and courteous. Wifi is good. The only "complaint" that is they don't have any kettle in room and i needed warm drinking water but it's all good. there is a water cooler at the lobby and it is accessible but I was just too lazy. I will go back again but there are a few others i want to check out as well.
