Lovely hotel and good service”
Staying at Savoy is always a joy. My husband and I have stayed at London Savoy for two times, and we decided to make it a "home away from home" in London every time we are in London. What I like the most about Savoy is it's elegant interior design and friendly service. The Americn Bar is a nice place to relax and meet with your friends in the afternoon, also is a nice place to have a drink while you are waiting for your table at Savoy Grill Restaurant. But I have to say that Savoy Grill is not my favorite restaurant. But it is nice that it is connected with the Savoy hotel. It is convenient to dine there before the theater as they have "pre-theater" dinner. In the evening it is nice to go for another Bar in the hotel, where they have life music, it is super nice and relaxing.

Simply The Best”
staying at The Savoy is one of those experiences which you do not want to end. Having stayed there several times pre refurb, I have visited numerous hotels in London during the refurb and since. None stand up to the Savoy in comfort, service it ambiance! Going back to the Savoy left me wondering why on earth I had not been back sooner and had gambled my previous visits to ,London by risking other hotels,

Superb finish combined with Style & Elegance”
A hotel is only as good as the staff that work in it. The Staff at The Savoy Hotel, London are without any doubt the best staff that you'll experience in living history. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of & treated with the greatest respect. I, highly recommend The Savoy Hotel, London to Agoda members as this experience alone, will make you feel like uplifted when checking out of a hotel that you'd wish was your home.

Great & luxurious base to explore the city”
When we - two 17 year old girl friends - arrived by taxi, doormen took care of our luggage and somebody from reception welcomed us in the doorway and showed us to the room, where we could check in. All staff were attentive and friendly, the hotel looby, restaurant and bar are really cool and we had one of the best breakfast ever. Room is big and very nice. The perfect base for shopping/sightseeing and in the evening very close & safe to return to from the theaters in the west end or clubs. Only the price is very steep - once a year thing to do...

Fabulous style and welcoming atmospohere”
I love this hotel - the refurbishment is done with such attention to detail that it is a marvel to look at and you are always noticing the subtle perfection of the decor. The staff are superb and nothing is any trouble. they will always say 'yes'. Staff are also very friendly and treat you like a real friend not just a guest in the hotel. I will definitely make the Savoy my regular hotel when I am in London

Excellent experience historical hotel in London”
I did enjoy staying here with friendly staff and a central situated hotel. I've stayed at many luxury hotels in London but now I can tell the savoy hotel is the best. All staff took care of me from check in to check out was very friendly and kind. Thank you for the great experience.

Once again it is Londons Finest”
Not only has the refurb improved the product (we stayed there just before the Savoy closed) but the attention to detail, both in the rooms and public areas, has once again elevated it to probobly the finest Hotel in London. To be called by your name by Management and Staff, bearing in mind how many guests were staying was to say the least astonishing. Next time we are in London, we would not entertian any other Hoel.

beautiful restored art deco hotel”
we stayed in one of their least expensive art deco rooms and the member of staff made sure we were happy with the room before he left us. it was much bigger than standard rooms in any other london hotels we have visited, especially the bathroom. bathrobes and slippers are provided for your use in all rooms (you can take the slippers home for no charge - we checked!). the attention to detail was impressive, both in the architecture and service from staff. the staff were attentive and friendly, but were not over bearing. we had the set lunch in the river restaurant, which was good value. we stayed midweek and there was no need to book for afternoon tea or lunch. after we checked out on a saturday they even managed to slot us into the thames foyer (without booking) in the afternoon for a pot of tea and biscuits because we had been residents. we also used the pool and steam room, as well as both the beaufort and american bars. all were good. the steam and sauna rooms are in the changing rooms, so i couldn't use them with my partner. it is more expensive than other hotels we've stayed at but worth every penny because you feel very special.

Luxury stay in the savoy”
We, family of five had wonderful tumes staying in the savoy, our parents were located at the other wing and they have amazing classic inspired room. We, the kids, had an art deco room. We had the chance to dine in the savoy grill, supposes to be patroned by gorfon ramsay. It was perfect, from the appetizer til the dessert, the staffs were very attentive too. We've tried the spa & in door swimming pool. It was a lovely stay in a remarkable hotel with a history!

About as good as it gets”
The Savoy lives up to its billing as one of the world's best hotels. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Yes, it is expensive but you get amazing service for the money. They look after you very well and you have the advantage of being right in the heart of London with all its culture, art and entertainment on your doorstep. Nothing seemed to too much trouble for the staff.

Great place, but no spa & pool area not good”
Our stay at the Savoy was good and the dining and the American bar were super, and our bed and room was good. The downfalls were: 1. when we checked in, the fellow that showed us our room, he talked over me and seemed to roll out his intro rote without really noticing us. I don't mean to be nasty, he was 'nice', but he did talk over me and didn't really listen to a word I said, that's the truth of what happened 2. the Savoy is a great hotel, but there is no spa at all, only a pool that was heated to 30 degrees and was full of kids, but there was no spa, so don't expect one. Also the dry sauna - some kid had just peed in it so it stank and it was closed the whole time we were there. So this was a bummer, and the men's change area was generally smelly and dirty with towels all over the floor every time we were in there. As nice as our room was, and the bar and dining were great, the facilities were lacking and not up to scratch and I didn't want to go over the fact the guy who showed us our room simply talked over me, I just wanted to exit and not kick up a fuss. For the money we paid per night, I would probably advise to try other places with better facilities and visit the dining area and bar vs stay at the hotel. The dining and bar were super, the rooms are good but the place is not perfect as I detail above.

One of the world's great hotels”
We have eaten many times in the wonderful Savoy Grill but this was the first time that we had stayed overnight. From being greeted by name in the lobby and shown to our room for check-in, through to the marvellous in-room service we couldn't fault the staff and everyone that we met was unfailingly helpful and polite. The 3-year closure for refurbishment has meant that every room has been updated - yet they retain the Art Deco flavour of the hotel's origins - a really great hotel and as great a hotel experience as we have enjoyed in a long life of international travel.

English Hospitality at its best ! ”
My stay at the Savoy was a truly memorable one. Beautiful Victorian hotel with English charm & hospitality at its best. The food at the Grill was fabulous & so was the Savoy Tea! As a regular traveller my choice of hotels around the world has been the more modern & chick hotels but I enjoyed every bit of the grandeur & charm it holds. Will surely visit again & was a experience no one should miss !!!

Fantastic Hotel nothing is too much trouble!!”
Greeted personally by the doormen and concierge, private checking in room and case delivered to your room within minutes of you being in there. When contacting reception they automatically greet you with your name etc and deal with any questions immediately. Had cocktails in the famous American Bar with waiter service, olives and nibbles. The waiters etc all had the white suites on and again greeted by name on arrival. On returning from our night at the theatre we found our room to be totally made up again, mini bar refreshed, towels already changed and slippers put out at either side of our unbelievably comfortable bed. Together with 2 fresh bottles of ice cold water and glasses put on either side of the bedside tables. Heating and air conditioning extremely quick to react to change of program. We had a court view on the top floor (floor 9) but could still see St Pauls Catherdral and the boats on the Thames. We hadnt previously booked breakfast but when we got back to our room we found breakfast cards on our pillows which allowed you to choose whatever breakfast items you would like and how you would like them cooked and the time that you would want breakfast in your room, providing we hung the cards on our door before 2am. We decided to do this and we are very glad we did. It came room service on a trolly with untold amounts of food and pastries as well as pots of tea made with tea leaves and silver strainers. As soon as we had finished we range 'Dining' and they came and fetched trolly straight away. There is also a complimentary copy of the Independant news paper in the morning. Check out not until 12pm but we didnt stay that long and again a personal check out service asking if we needed anything for our onward journey or taxi etc. We didnt take advantage of the health spa and pool etc as we didnt have time but I'm sure it was fantastic just like everything else. Also we saw alot of children staying in the hotel and they did childrens menus!

Superb hotel! We were treated like royalty!”
First time at the Savoy and will certainly go back. They certainly know how to make you feel welcome and valued. Everything was fuss free and they couldn't do more for us (which should be the case with this type of hotel) they live up to their reputation, the hotel is immaculate. Our room was stunning. We ate at Kaspars which was top quality. Overall, brilliant!

Exceptional”
An excellent 5 star hotel full of elegance and charm. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food in all restaurants is first class and breakfast is a dream. The decor is stunning. I have stayed here several times over the past few years and it's something I always look forward to. It's faultless. I wouldn't expect anything less from The Savoy - it's in a class of it's own.

Perfect ”
the recent multi million pound upgrade was money well spent; everything here is close to perfect. the staff are highly trained and give the est service i have ever come across i any hotel. te rooms are tastefully furnished and designed and high quality bathroom products. not the cheapest hotel in town but definitely the best of the 5 star establishments. breakfast was very good too with great service to match the food. everything here has style and should be experienced at least once on any trip to london. of all the hotels i have stayed at and the huge costs paid, this had been the only one that i would say lived up to its reputation. will be staying here again for sure

Decadent stay at the Savoy”
It was simply amazing and we did not want to leave. The rooms are beautiful and we had stunning views over the Thames from the Courtyard facing King Room. Staff were attentive to our every need. The American Bar is pricey but again service was brilliant and drinks were expertly made. The in houe bakery/pattiserie was sublime - you simply must pick up some macaroons or opulent slice of chocolate cake. I cannot rate the Savoy highly enough. Our stay was simply magnificent and we will return again one day.
