"An excellent 5 star hotel full of elegance and charm."

To stay at The Savoy Hotel is to follow in the footsteps of Sir Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra, Maria Callas, Claude Monet, and Katharine Hepburn. Splendidly located on the banks of the Thames, this iconic hotel has been brilliantly reinvented for the 21st century. The Savoy Hotel is where old-fashioned glamour sparkles with a new luster, where the excitement of London is waiting just beyond the world famous entrance. The elegant and comfortable guestrooms and suites are without a doubt the perfect luxury accommodation. Honoring the hotel’s two main aesthetics, English Edwardian and Art Deco, no two rooms or suites are the same. Many boast original features, such as fireplaces, the famous Savoy rain showerhead, claw foot baths, as well as views over the River Thames and the city of London.

Excellent experience historical hotel in London”
I did enjoy staying here with friendly staff and a central situated hotel. I've stayed at many luxury hotels in London but now I can tell the savoy hotel is the best. All staff took care of me from check in to check out was very friendly and kind. Thank you for the great experience.
Great place, but no spa & pool area not good”
Our stay at the Savoy was good and the dining and the American bar were super, and our bed and room was good. The downfalls were: 1. when we checked in, the fellow that showed us our room, he talked over me and seemed to roll out his intro rote without really noticing us. I don't mean to be nasty, he was 'nice', but he did talk over me and didn't really listen to a word I said, that's the truth of what happened 2. the Savoy is a great hotel, but there is no spa at all, only a pool that was heated to 30 degrees and was full of kids, but there was no spa, so don't expect one. Also the dry sauna - some kid had just peed in it so it stank and it was closed the whole time we were there. So this was a bummer, and the men's change area was generally smelly and dirty with towels all over the floor every time we were in there. As nice as our room was, and the bar and dining were great, the facilities were lacking and not up to scratch and I didn't want to go over the fact the guy who showed us our room simply talked over me, I just wanted to exit and not kick up a fuss. For the money we paid per night, I would probably advise to try other places with better facilities and visit the dining area and bar vs stay at the hotel. The dining and bar were super, the rooms are good but the place is not perfect as I detail above.
Superb finish combined with Style & Elegance”
A hotel is only as good as the staff that work in it. The Staff at The Savoy Hotel, London are without any doubt the best staff that you'll experience in living history. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of & treated with the greatest respect. I, highly recommend The Savoy Hotel, London to Agoda members as this experience alone, will make you feel like uplifted when checking out of a hotel that you'd wish was your home.
Great and friendly staff”
Savoy is the best hotel we stayed during our so many times traveled. Even if it is quite expensive but I would say it is worth it. Their friendly staff and lovely environment were the points we love this hotel so much. Will recommend to friends and surely come to stay again.
Great hotel Nice service”
Nice location.. Savoy is in the center of London. Between 3 undergrounds. It's very easy to travel around London. Nice decoration.. Savoy decorate rooms very nice and beautiful. A room is comfortable and make me feel like stay at home. Nice service.. Savoy has great service.

Hotel staff and is good but hotel facilities still need improve ”
Hotel location is good but environment hotel need improvement
An excellent 5 star hotel full of elegance and charm. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food in all restaurants is first class and breakfast is a dream. The decor is stunning. I have stayed here several times over the past few years and it's something I always look forward to. It's faultless. I wouldn't expect anything less from The Savoy - it's in a class of it's own.
Lovely birthday treat”
Stayed here for my birthday, and had a nice surprise of some birthday cake which the staff brought to my room. Didn't get time to explore the hotel but if the lobby is anything to go by it must be fabulous. Not as good as George V in Paris but definitely up there!
Decadent stay at the Savoy”
It was simply amazing and we did not want to leave. The rooms are beautiful and we had stunning views over the Thames from the Courtyard facing King Room. Staff were attentive to our every need. The American Bar is pricey but again service was brilliant and drinks were expertly made. The in houe bakery/pattiserie was sublime - you simply must pick up some macaroons or opulent slice of chocolate cake. I cannot rate the Savoy highly enough. Our stay was simply magnificent and we will return again one day.
English Hospitality at its best ! ”
My stay at the Savoy was a truly memorable one. Beautiful Victorian hotel with English charm & hospitality at its best. The food at the Grill was fabulous & so was the Savoy Tea! As a regular traveller my choice of hotels around the world has been the more modern & chick hotels but I enjoyed every bit of the grandeur & charm it holds. Will surely visit again & was a experience no one should miss !!!
Great Hotel and justified its grandeur reputation”
It was our first time there although I have been a few times in the Savoy Grill and the bars, my family was with me and they were highly impressed with the quality and the staff who are excellent, friendly, professional, makes you welcome, it is expensive but you get what you pay for and it was worth the experience
The Hotel was lovely, the room beautiful, the view amazing, but the best part was the staff, especially, Lee, the Concierge. He not only got me reservations to everywhere I wanted to go, but he even walked me to Covent Gardens so I would not get lost. He was so kind, friendly, efficient, and professional. Everyone was really wonderful, it made my stay a real pleasure.
Enjoyed the stay. Shopped at Boodles. Any issues were dealt with quickly. Shoe shine service in 15 mins! Only concern was around food. The guest who had an egg and nut allergy, was given lemon curd. Other than that, really excellent hotel, definitely will come again. My compliments to Jonathan at check in.
Simply The Best”
staying at The Savoy is one of those experiences which you do not want to end. Having stayed there several times pre refurb, I have visited numerous hotels in London during the refurb and since. None stand up to the Savoy in comfort, service it ambiance! Going back to the Savoy left me wondering why on earth I had not been back sooner and had gambled my previous visits to ,London by risking other hotels,
About as good as it gets”
The Savoy lives up to its billing as one of the world's best hotels. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Yes, it is expensive but you get amazing service for the money. They look after you very well and you have the advantage of being right in the heart of London with all its culture, art and entertainment on your doorstep. Nothing seemed to too much trouble for the staff.
Great & luxurious base to explore the city”
When we - two 17 year old girl friends - arrived by taxi, doormen took care of our luggage and somebody from reception welcomed us in the doorway and showed us to the room, where we could check in. All staff were attentive and friendly, the hotel looby, restaurant and bar are really cool and we had one of the best breakfast ever. Room is big and very nice. The perfect base for shopping/sightseeing and in the evening very close & safe to return to from the theaters in the west end or clubs. Only the price is very steep - once a year thing to do...
The whole experience of our stay in this iconic london hotel was wonderful, every part of the hotel was beautiful, the staff were amazing, the savoy grill PRE theatre dinner was delicious ,American bar cocktails and atmosphere was brilliant. The savoy will spoil you and it has to be a once in a lifetime stay at least.
