Kind staff and great stay”
We really enjoyed this trip to Con Dao during staying in The Secret Con Dao. Staff looks busy cuz less number staff handle many visitors. However they didn’t compromise quality. Especially Ms Anh cared of us like changing to room with ocean view and help to book tour. That tour was also very nice to know Vietnamese life and history. You can have good view at the bar in the night, get to beach and market easier by walking and chill out beside pool with smoothies lol Anyway I would like to recommend this hotel.

Perfect location in the town with walking distance to the local restaurants and in front of the beach, the service is excellent with professional and very friendly staff, the room are modern, well decorated and always very clean. There are free shuttle bus pick up and drop off from airport. You can contact them first.There are the buggy car outside if you doesn’t want to rent the motorbike. There are free bicycle from hotel. All staff are nice and friendly all speak English. The welcome cookie was nice touch! We spent 8 night there and We had a good time.

First-class resort for visitors to Con Dao's heritage sites”
Great choice for an in-town stay. Especially useful to travellers coming to pay hommage to the island's past - the museum, main prison sites and governor's palace are within easy walks. The resort is shiny new, with a vibe and decor that can easily appeal to younger couples or bling-based clientele. Rooms are well-equipped, dining rooms and bar are attractive, staff is helpful. The Secret is also a perfect starting point for a longer island visit - I would recommend combining with another beach front resort to add in Con Dao's other natural settings.

Pro: Good location, clean room, friendly staffs. Hotel also offer scooter rental with very reasonable price. Hotel fully booked during my stay so lobby area can be very busy with group chexk in/out. I will surely consider this hotel again when visit Con Dao in future. The thing that I think need improvement is the foods. I found the buffet breakfast cater more Vietnamese, and less variety. I also had lunch inthe restaurant, which their chef recommendation menu also not live up to my expectation.

We had a suite which was wonderful, well-maintained, fantastic terrace overlooking the sea and pool. Drinks by the pool were expensive and quite a few tour groups, but it kept the hotel lively during hard times.

Good choice with new facilities”
This has been be a very competitive option in the island for the past few years: newly built, quite clean, good location with minutes walking to the nearby Wharf and historical places. Their rental scooters are at best quality in town. Worth the pennies. Do not expect any unique traits or high-end facilities though.
