Attractive, modern and designer-esque, The Shop Hotel stood out easily from the rest of accommodations on offer in Kuala Kangsar. I made an almost instant booking after and surely was not disappointed. The space is as comfortable and cosy as expected. Other than that, I admire the systematic management to reduce wastage typical of hotel stays. You can request for secondary toiletries if you need it but essentials like towels and the conveniently 3in1 bath solution are readily prepared in the room. Also, it is apparent that owner is invested in the comfort for guests, beds and pillows are of premium qualities. I enjoyed many nights of good sleep on them. Superb value for money and will be back should I return to Kuala Kangsar.

I prefer The Shop compared to many other hotels in Kuala Kangsar and I frequent this place real often since 2015. That’s why I feel obligated to give a suggestion for the mold on the bathroom wall - pls spray some bleach. Tqvm.

Worth it to stay here because not expensive, and the the staff always giving smile. The tastes of coffee very delicious. Near to town. Easy access to highway. Easy to find local foods. Very recommended to you new customer.

The Best Option in Kuala Kangsar”

Honestly, the room is small and they do not have water dispenser common in boutique hotels. However, considering other options in Kuala Kangsar, this is one of the best ones. The room is comfortable despite its tiny size. The body wash smells nice. They have a cafe downstairs serving AMAZING coffee and cakes. You will have a comfortable stay if you are alone. If not, it might be a bit cramped.
