Great room with superb breakfast”
The hotel is right next to the Omicho market and thus has plenty of good restaurants nearby. It is also a few steps away from the bus stops, and within walkable distance to the old town quarter. We love our room with bunk bed (double bed on the ground and single on top) which is quite spacious. The public bath is also nice. The most remarkable thing is the breakfast! They make every dish so unique and we enjoyed everyone of them. Definitely recommend this place.

Great location, clean, many extra unexpected amenities: gym, free bike rental, Onsen, toothbrushes, water and really great rate. Only complaint would be the beds are a bit hard but perfect for two nights. Would recommend and stay again!

Great Value, Clean Room”
We stayed in a twin room and it was great for a couple. Big bath, and also a couch area to sit in the main room. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly. Hotel is located very near to bus stop and lots of restaurants / shops, as well as the market! The public bath upstairs was also very clean and a great way to relax at the end of the day. Definitely will be back here for our next stay in Kanazawa.

Rooms are big and comfortable. Good location just beside Omicho market and easy walk from Kanazawa station. Limited washing machine so need to wait to use. Onsen is a bonus.

Room was clean, well equipped and comfy. Convenient location, located next to Omicho market, with a mall & family mart 2-3 mins walk away. 20 mins walk to Kanazawa station & 15-20 mins walk to Higashichaya, Kenrokuen & Kanazawa Castle.

Great hotel - Recommend!”
Stayed one night. Great hotel. New and clean. Comfortable, modern room and great bathroom. Located central and very near Omicho Market. Staff very friendly, professional, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked delicious. The hot spring was nice, but very small and cramped (including the changing room) which is not ideal during this coronavirus situation. Impossible to social distance. Also, the smoking room is on the same floor, so the smoke drifts into the hot spring area.

Overall the hotel is good but funny that the staff told me the room was actually for one person only and had to pay extra for two ppl. Guess the system should be more specific to let the guest know about this point.

ard 10-15 mins from JR station and bus center. super close to the fish market. the room size is relatively big compared to other hotels in japan. we did enjoy the stay and the public bath in the hotel

Good Modern Hotel”
Positive aspects - Very close to Omicho Fish Market and walking distance to public transport. Short bus ride to train/bus station. It only takes a 20 mins slow walk to Higashiyama Chaya district. Hotel is modern chic with modern check in system. Love the large public bath indoor and outdoor esp in the cold weather - amazing feeling to sit outside. Improvement - no free coffee/tea in the room or lounge area that you would normally expect in hotels. In our recent Japanese trip, don't expect any early check in than the stipulated time (even if it's only an hour earlier). Definitely a value for money hotel and highly recommended. (didn't opt for the breakfast package.)

As this city is small and this hotel is located at the center of the city, you can reach to the castle, the garden and 21st century museum in 15 mins on your foot if it’s sunny. What if it’s a rainy day? No problem, you can take a bus to get there directly and it takes shorter than you walk. The best thing we really want to boast is how near the Omicho market is! It only takes one minute. If you’re in a hurry and run, it’ll be shortened to 30mins. Anyway, we are very looking forward to seeing you when you visit here again in the future! Neat and cozy room, great onsen with a sauna. Breakfast was good but had rather limited choices, but in the early morning everything around was closed, can’t complain. A rather spacious room, especially after Tokyo.

Perfect pit stop between big cities”
We loved our stay at Square Hotel - it's a 15 min walk from the main station, and perfectly located to explore the castle, the gardens, the gold leaf museum and many other areas of interest in Kanazawa. The room was significantly bigger than we were anticipating (given the size of other hotel rooms we have had in Japan), and there is a gym, a public bath, breakfast services and daily linen changes if required. We were only here for one full day but this was the perfect hotel for our stay. Thank you so much!

Perectly located for exploring Kanazawa”
This hotel is perfectly located. All main attractions are within walking distance. We loved how close the hotel was to Omichou Market (just 5 minutes walk to the nearest entrance) and Kenrokuen Gardens (just 10 minutes walk to the entrance) We spent a few days here and did not need a bus or taxi at any point as we were able to walk everywhere. Loved the hotel. New, stylish, clean and value for money!
