Software Matters More Than The Hardware!”
Most of the staffs are familiar with me and their maintenance of professionalism makes me feel so comfortable and at home! Their hospitality surpasses most hotels. Service is impeccable. Love the way they move with me. Whilst at the same time, they might want to review the choices of food they offer in their in room dining menu and the outrageously exhorbitant charges that goes with it. Even by International standards comparison, it’s still way off the charts!

An old favourite”
We used to go to The Sukhothai 20 years ago and although the novelty for us is no longer there, the service, the style and the food are all still as good.

We often go to The Sukhothai hotel. This time the service was far below the usual level. Pool was under renovation.

Dream come true”
We wanted a good Sukhothai experience and indulged in a Deluxe Suite for 5 nights. I have stayed in Bangkok several times, each time at great hotels and I know that the Thai standard for hospitality is incredibly high. The experience at the Sukhothai became the new benchmark and I was relived that I hadn't built up my expectations too much. The staff were exceptional and always obliging. The meals there are the best I've ever had. Breakfasts became a challenge to not over indulge. After 5 days, we still didn't try everything there was to offer. The Sunday Brunch is an absolute must. The negatives - The gym was being renovated and the temporary gym is incredibly basic. The location is close but too far to walk anywhere. There is no BTS nearby but there is a MRT closeby.

Weekend at the Sukhothai ”
It was an exciting weekend as Fifty Shades Freed was showing. However, when checking in, even though room fully paid, front desk insisted on a big deposit. And the facial expression was not welcomed. Room was nice and comfy save for mosquitoes flying around. Better look into that situation please.

Resort within Bangkok”
Tranquility within Bangkok, very friendly and helpful staff. The Thai restaurant is highly recommended. Only downside is there’s always a bit of traffic at the main road outside and around 1kn from nearest BTS station.

Old School in a New School Kind of Way”
This is one spectacular hotel. Beautiful public areas and lovely rooms. Location couldn't be better. It's a oasis of calm and quiet in a city that lacks both. That's the good. The less than great were the impersonal check-in and the food. There are about five restaurants, and they all must come out of the same kitchen because the menus are damn near identical. And even if something is not on the menu at a given place, if you ask for it (like pizza), the will serve it. This wouldn't be so terrible if the weren't so better mediocre. Stay here, eat someplace else.

An oasis in the bustle”
Always a pleasure to stay at The Sukhothai. The staff are very attentive. Breakfast at Colonnade is a great start to the day. Kudos to Kum Ploy and the rest of the team. Can’t wait to see the reopening of the gym. Spending a tranquil afternoon at pool side is heavenly. Love the fact that there are no surrounding tall buildings. Hotel may be a bit inconvenient in terms of access but the peace/serenity more than compensates it. Please don’t think about expanding into a bigger hotel. Hope to be back soon.

Luxury hotel, beautiful decor”
It is a beautiful hotel, I loved the design and look of it all. Incredible breakfast. Lovely pool and surrounds. First class service. Accommodated our 2 year old well, although we would have loved there to be a play area for him. The one at brunch on Sundays should be extended!

When i visited The Sukothai Hotel the first time, it was just for having breakfast with friends. But i immediately noticed the very friendly atmosphere! I travel a lot and i‘ve seen dozens of hotels, but the Sukothai is outstanding when it comes to excellent and friendly service! An oasis of quietness and elegance in the heart of Bangkok. Here you are treated not just as a guest, but almost as a friend! The rooms are elegant with dark wood furniture and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet offers everything you might want, ranging from classic western dishes to tasty thai dishes (different curries, soups) to delicious fruits and even sushi, all prepared with perfection. All in all an outstanding place to stay and definitely MY choice for Bangkok. Special thanks to Ms. Botan, Anchi, Eve, Sammy, Eye and Nam for giving me a smile every morning and making my stay at The Sukothai unforgettable! 😘I never experienced that before! I will come again for sure!!

A tranquil gem on Satorn”
The moment one steps into the Suhkothai one is surrounded by high class but unpretentious elegance. The hotel is not ideally located but, having said that, it is only 9 minutes walk from Lumpini MRT underground station and there are plentiful taxis and tuk tuks passing by the hotel. The guest rooms are beautiful and supplied with all the amenities one would expect of a luxury hotel. The breakfast buffet caters for most nationalities and offers an amazing selection of items. The swimming pool is one of the finest in Bangkok; It is large, rectangular and never crowded. Around the pool are both single and double sun loungers. Pools staff provide a constant supply of complimentary iced water. The hotel has a well equipped gymnasium, sauna and steam room. Most impressive are the staff: always impeccably dressed, polite, helpful and cheerful. Every day my room had been cleaned before I return to it after breakfast - excellent service! A fantastic hotel!

Pay your money and take your chance!”
This hotel changes management far too often, and the present the management are awful. They harass you at 11am about checking out, calling you three times before midday. Then if you complain then Duty Manager Ms. Tippi will have an answer for everything, and further annoy you as her answers are nonsense. Then she smiles and says "Hope to see you again", which there are two ways to take that, yet when she has a certain smile on her face, I took it to mean ..... So I will wait to hear the management has changed before I set foot in this hotel again. Incidentally, sharing my experience with friends, funny whose name came up and the friend also had a similar gesture and smile from Ms. Tippi. The hotel will soon be empty with this charming person meeting guests!!

The Gorgeous Sukothai”
We loved the one bedroom suite for our sleeping arrangements with the kids, the quality of the room and the size of the bathroom is just mind blowing. A goregous hotel with lovely quiet and calming grounds.
