The mosy high end lodge here but poor service
The rooms are great, clean. The view is of the lake & Pokhara with a small bit of one peak showing if you are lucky.I did not think it was value for money at all(for 20Euros I've stayed at incredible lodges here) the balcony door was broken, the curtain fell off and the wifi didn't work. The receptionist/cook however nice didn't speak a word of English,so trying to rectify these issues was very challenging to say the least.I asked that they called the proprietor several times and I waited for 5 hrs with no response. Finally,i demanded a better room and even though the balcony door was also faulty/broken.I was placated. The owner is pushy to get you to eat there and the place is actually really low and one has to hike up for 15 minutes to get to the viewpoint.I eventually moved up to the highest lodge and paid half the price with better service in English. If you are looking for regular western comforts then this is the plac,it just wasn't what i was looking for.

Perfect location for viewing the Himalayan mountain view.
One of the best location in Sarangkot. Great service with a clean room with a magnificent view of the Himalayan mountain range. Worth it!!

Wonderfully kind staff, disappointing standard of accommodation
Superview lodge is in an excellent position to get to the top of Sarangkot to see the wonderful views. It is barely a few minutes walk up some steep steps. The family who run Superview lodge and warm, friendly and kind. Unfortunately this is let down by a few things with the rooms themselves. They could be a lot cleaner, in particular the linen and pillows looked tired and not completely clean. We were expecting the rooms to be very basic which they were but the rooms need refurbishing. In the upside, they are building a new storey of rooms so hopefully they will be a lot better and cleaner. The wifi was also surprisingly fast and reliable and the homemade food was fine. If you're on a tight budget and location is a priority for the summit, then this would be worth considering. If you want your creature comforts, you might want to look elsewhere - at least until the new rooms are available in October 2016. PS - bring a torch!

Basic hotel with stunning view of himalayan range
great view and cheap
My friend and i enjoyed the beauty of Sarangkot and the view from the hotel but not as much the hotel & management itself. We went there last February still a winter month. The water heater is not working but the toilet is quite clean. Though the bed sheets, pillows and blanket are wornedout and dirty. Found some black ants and some stains on it, so i decided not to use it, but after awhile the room having no heater turns very cold so ive used it for my feet but as the night goes deeper it goes colder. I wore my jacket and gloves and socks on and eventually had to use the bad looking blanket to keep me warm. During our stay the other rooms are empty so its really peaceful, but it also means theyre cost saving so they didnt turn on the wifi in the rooms which is ok, so youll get to have a digital detox and enjoy the surroundings, but its very dissapointing that they also didnt turn on the water heater and lights outside the rooms. My friend who went out to get her dinner had a hard time going to the main street as it was pitchblack. When we tell them about it they just said yes and nod but didnt do anything. For breakfast butter, jam, toast and eggs are served with choice of coffee or tea. This is not for the fussy travelers, it is a very basic hotel but youll enjoy the glorius view of snowcapped mountains.

Superview
The view from the terrace and location being only a short walk up to the Sarangkot viewing tower
No toilet paper, soap or towels provided. Breakfast included in the package was very basic - omelette and toast plus hot drink - no sauted potatoes, onion and peppers which seemed to be the standard fare in all the other hotels we stayed in. Also no butter or jam.

Overrated.
Location
It was an OK stay. At first, the room looks a bit unclean but somehow, the bed was comfy. 10 mins walk to the top of the Sarangkot view point so the selling point of the hotel is its location. But do bring along a torchlight. At night, it was almost pitch dark except for some little emergency lights inside the room and inside the restaurant. Hot water is 24 hour. However, I felt the lady boss and his caretaker was a bit pushy when trying to ask me having meal in their restaurant. I know this hotel is popular in Sarangkot but to me, they are a bit overrated.
