The front desk was the counter in the restaurant. There was a door to the adjoining room which was unlocked; we had total access to the room next door. The only thing securing us from being accessed was a latch which a 10 year-old could break through. The shower had mold, but the rest was fairly clean. The room and bathroom were very small. The room had two beds, but no chair or table. This motel is NOT on the beach, but it is within walking distance from public access. If I had to stay on Amelia Island and only had $100 I would stay there again, but I'm not going back with only $100.
