The Tarna is lovely. Pros: Good and comfortable bed. Big rooms. Quiet. Very nice staff. A lot to choose from at breakfast. Good view of ocean from most rooms. I liked that it was up the hill from the main Sairee area because it was a good work out up that steep hill. Cons: Very poor lighting in room. No dresser to place unpacked clothes. Steep hill to get to resort (this may be a negative for some…but they do offer a shuttle at specific times. Have stayed there prior to this visit and would stay again.

The hotel was excellent. They treat you very well which cannot be said for lots of other “hotels” on the island. Very modern, exceptionally clean with very comfy beds. If you want a no-risk enjoyable place to stay, go here.

We have visted Koh Tao a few times and always struggle to find somewhere which is in an easy and convenient location but not too noisy. We would now not stay anywhere else. This resort is very well kept and all of the staff were cheerfull and friendly, they were so good at ensuring we had a lovely time and helped us to book what we wanted to do. I was taken poorly during our stay and they rang the doctor and provided a shuttle for me to go and see him, which was so appreciated. The beds are so comfortable and our room was so quiet that it made it difficult to get up in the morning! The pool was kept clean daily and had such lovely views over Sairee. This resort is situated at the top of the hill from Sairee but they provided a free shuttle to and from Sairee so we made good use of that and it just means you are away from the noise. The breakfast was good and the coffee pod machine in our room made very good coffee. Thank you Tarna for making our holiday so enjoyable.

The hotel is located on a commercial street, approximately 700-800 meters up a hill. It only takes about ten minutes to walk down to the most bustling area and the beach, but going back up can be a bit strenuous. The hotel staff is warm and friendly, and the rooms are very clean. We chose a room by the pool, which makes it especially convenient for the kids to go swimming. The dinner was abundant, and in Koh Tao, it belongs to the particularly good category. It is worth mentioning that the hotel has a 5-meter deep freshwater swimming pool, where you can complete the beginner's diving course, which is particularly friendly for beginners.
