An all round good experience.”
The TImes Hotel is in a great position for a stay in Amsterdam. It is very central to all the highlights of Amsterdam, but far enough away from the crowds to enjoy some quietness. Although I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, it looked more than adequate. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. There are many lovely restaurants nearby, and lots of interesting walks by nearby canals. It is a short 10 to 15 minute walk to Centraal Station, and 10 minutes to Dam Square. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. As I was travelling alone (I am a middle aged woman) I wanted to feel safe where I stayed, and The Times Hotel certainly provided that. I would not hesitate to recommend The Times Hotel, and will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable & Convenient ”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Times & in Amsterdam. The location was fantastic as we were walking distance to the Central train station (about 10mins), beautiful cafes/restaurants, shopping stalls & tram stops. The staff @ The Times were very kind, helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable but slightly on the small side - however, taking into account the size of venues in Amsterdam, it was an efficient amount of space and cosy. We hope to return to Amsterdam and stay at The Times Hotel again in the near future!

Excellent location ”
We were only in Amsterdam for 1 night and we had booked the Anne frank house and canal tours. This hotel was excellent location to both and along one of the most beautiful canal sides. There is an amazing brunch place round the corner. We were upgraded to a canal view room which was so romantic especially in the evening with the windows opened. The staff were friendly and facilities were great in this quirky hotel. We will definitely return and certainly to this hotel. Thanks to all at the Times Hotel!

Cozy room, friendly staff”
Overall the hotel was great :) I saw a lot of the negative reviews about the stairs and could see why if you are a bit older / have a lot of luggage. The room was clean, had A/C which was great! Was very quiet but we were in a room that felt like it was in the center of the building (which was great). The shower was pretty tiny and the drain kept getting blocked but not the end of the world :P the whole idea for a hotel for us in Amsterdam was just to sleep after touring around, not for luxury hotel ;) The beds, even though being quite small and separate were very comfortable.

Great value for a stunning view over the canal!”
I had a lovely stay at The Times Hotel, it was such a shame that I was only there for a night! The location was great, only 5 minutes walk from the city center and even closer to the streetcar but away from the hustle and bustles of the main stripe. Many eateries and cafe around! The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The room was slightly on the smaller side, but more than enough for 1-2 people. Bed was very comfy! Loved the decor throughout the hotel. Will look no further when I visit Amsterdam next.

Lovely Christmas Visit”
This hotel has a really unbeatable location, overlooking the most beautiful canal in Amsterdam. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind eg finding the best tickets to buy for attractions, with local experience. It is an amazing price for its location and so the breakfast is modest but tasty too. Our only quibble was the very dim lighting in the bedrooms but it is the middle of winter, we are ‘seniors’ whose eyesight is not what it was, and next time, we shall ask for rooms with more natural light! We enjoyed our stay very much indeed.

Perfect contrast location”
Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location that enabled me to indulge in all Amsterdam has to offer at a stone throw. Lovely canal view from the room, quiet location but above all, remarkable/personable staff that made my solo trip feel as though I wasn't alone - filled with great recommendations, conversations and facilitating all my requests. Only pitfall is that even though the rooms are clean they could do with a 'spring' clean. That said, I will be staying here again.

Nice Canal House”
We stayed for a week-end in Amsterdam and we pleased by the Times Hotel. It is a small hotel, but the rooms are comfy and not too small (as often in Amsterdam). There is tea-coffee amenities in the room. The location is perfect as it is along a nice canal and near nice spots, less touristy than the heart of Amsterdam. In my opinion, a very good address, with excellent value for money.

A nice short stay in Amsterdam”
We stayed for the Weekend and did not really spend much time at the Hotel. We decided to expereince Amsterdam more than staying longer in the Hotel room since we got a room with very very poor view. Although when booking the room on Agoda, the room called "Double/Twin Room with City View", but when we ask the reception, he told us that the price we paid is low and there is no room available with the City view. It is not a big deal for us, since we stayed only for short period. Anyway, the locatation of this Hotel is very convenient for us. Easy to find. Not far from Amsterdam Centraal and still comfortable enough to walk even to the Rijksmuseum from here :). For a short stay it is OK. But for longer stay, regarding the room we stayed in, i would think twice.

Nice modern boutique hotel in the city centre”
When we arrived at the hotel, it was about 9PM. We were very delighted that the check-in process was fuss-free and brief. The hotel staff also offered us the Wi-Fi access without us requesting for it. The room is small, but for the price we paid, it was certainly value for money. Unlike the other hotel we stayed in, we had absolutely no problem with our baggage storage with this one. The only thing though was that the room had a slight stench every time we entered the room, but it quickly disappeared after the airconditioner is switched on. The room is also very clean and simple (it comes with the basics - shower gel and conditioner, but not the extras). The location is also superb, very close to the shopping district, and within walking distance to Centraal Station. We will definitely stay back at this hotel when we return!

Amazing location, lovely building with stylish entrance and kind receptionist- rooms need renovation”
This lovely building is in a prime Amsterdam location and I’m looking forward to visit again without kids after the planned and strongly needed renovation of the rooms to keep up with the rather boutique entrance . Receptionist house model was kind helpful and understanding . Despite the disappointment when entering our room ( which was different to what we had booked and seen on the Agoda photos ) we enjoyed the prime location. Overall, the building is rather noisy and keep your windows closed when traveling with kids and if you don’t fancy the smell of the right next door amnesia coffee shop . Still, lovely building facing the amazing Herengracht.

Vacationing in Amsterdam for the Week”
The hotel itself is charming, the rooms well-appointed and the staff were generally very helpful and kind, as most Dutch people are. The night auditor was a little strange and couldn't produce a replacement room key when I requested one because "they were out of them". To me this is a little unacceptable, but I do realize it's a smaller boutique hotel w few rooms and presumably few room cards at any given time. However, it was a bit stressful coming back to The Times from Paris on business with no room key with the uncertainty of not knowing if they would have one. All-in-all I think it was a great value, clean with a solid breakfast and SUPERB location.

Exceptional”
I had what was probably the worse room in the hotel - right up on the fifth floor. However I was trading cost for luxury so it was a trade I was happy with. The bad bits: the room was small (smallest in the hotel with no storage space (draws or shelves); the bed was uncomfortable (big dip in the middle), the bathroom sink drained very slowly (so difficult to clean after a wet shave). The good bits: simple, clean, excellent location (beautiful area, convenient for walking round dam square, centre, Jordaan etc., convenient for trams and busses to museums etc.), nice people and a good breakfast to set you up for the day, a good hot shower to end the day. Yes for the price I would highly recommend.

Great front desk staff”
Times hotel has great location, clean, and decent prices. Best thing about this hotel is Glen at the front desk. He always made sure we had everything we needed from coffee, directions, boarding passes. He is the best customer service person I have ever encountered. This hotel is worth the stay because of Glen

Lovely hotel, great location.!”
Lovely stay at The Times. Lovely on the outside and inside. We had the basic room which was on the bottom floor. The room itself was fairly big. It was decorated nice and the beds were comfy. Shower was good. About a 10 minute walk to the train station, passing shops etc on the way. Nice to be away from all the noise but not too far away. Staff v helpful and friendly. Felt safe and secure walking to and from the hotel and while we were there. Kettle, water and hair dryer available. Will be staying again. 10/10.
