We stayed at The Tribune for 4 nights. Our room was very spacious, luxurious and very clean. The room was quiet with a view of the city walls and the gardens surrounding Villa Borghese. The breakfast was lovely, hot and cold buffet, lovely pastries, great coffee. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were 10% satisfied with our stay and will definitely recommend The Tribune in future.
Could not be better”
Being located in the centre of Rome, the location of this hotel is great for exploring the various tourist sites of the city. The hotel has absolutely great staff, very friendly and very competent; the rooms are exceptionally clean.
Nice boutique hotel - shame our room smelt of sewage”
Nice boutique hotel - shame our room smelt of sewage though. Did raise the issue with hotel staff on several occasions but unfortunately they never solved the problem. On a separate note the three guys who run the breakfast were brilliant. The hotel is a 15-20 mins walk to virtually everything worth seeing. The room & hotel is nicely decorated but was a bit short on space for a family of 4 and he rooms are more suited size wise to couples. All in all we had a great time bar the smell in the room.
Gorgeous hotel ”
The hotel was well decorated compared to a lot of outdated decors found in other hotels in Rome. The staff was amazing and very kind and able to help. It was a smaller boutique hotel, there’s a lot of restaurants near by. Not in the high touristy part of Rome which was calmer and nice. It took me about a 10-15 min walk to get to the Spanish steps or near the touristy part. About a 20 min walk from termini station. Everything was exceptional for the price, but one con would be the sound. You can hear people in the hallway talking clearly or any noise in the hall, the door wasn’t providing any sound barrier at all. This wasn’t really a big issue for me but take that into consideration.
A very nice, clean and modern hotel in the center of rome”
The personnel is very qualified and attentive and very nice. The room has the perfect size with everything necessary in it. The location is also perfect. You have several metro stations, attractions and restaurants close to the hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful ”
The room was great, clean, spacious and comfortable. Free mobile phone was a bonus. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, it is very hard to find this kind of service especially in Europe. Breakfast was average but they are nice enough to allow you to bring the bfast into your room and also provide disposable cups if you need to bring coffee too
Mix feelings for this hotel”
The hotel is generally nice, clean and modern. The staffs are really sweet and professional. We had arrived early to the hotel as there were no delay at the cruise port and the staffs actually went out of their way to find us a room albeit not the room we had chosen but they mentioned it is more spacious just that its on the ground floor. I am just grateful to get a room early to rest and put our luggage. The bonus is definitely the free phone with unlimited data! It really was helpful to us as we had issues with the simcard that we had. The minor thing that bothered me would be the cold floor as its not carpeted and there were no slippers. No soap dish provided for the available soap and they will not replenish the bottled water that was provided on the first day. I would suggest for improvement if you can provide re-usable slippers, glass cup and change the bottled water to glass bottle and assist to refill the glass bottle when its empty. Overall, i did enjoy myself. Thank you.
The best option for looking a less noise hotel”
We spent 3 nights there. The overall rating are excellent, we had a great time there, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the front desk would be able to communicate in English. the breakfast was great! however, the location isnt closed to those main attraction points. It's safe to walk through from the city center.
Nice little hotel just out of the very centre but easy enough to walk to all the attractions. It was a shame that there was lots of the hotel rubbish on the pavement outside as it spoilt the entrance. Also it would be nice to have real cups for hot drinks in the rooms and also more environmentally friendly. Staff were helpful and there was gluten free bread and croissants available.
Room was great! Quiet and yet convenient to what we wanted to do and see. Roof top bar was fun at sunset. Staff was very cordial and attentive.
Exemplary!! When help was needed the staff were out”
We stayed here on two occasions during our 5 week trip to Italy, 2 nights at the beginning and 1 at the end. On both occasions we had dramas completely unrelated to the hotel but each time the staff on at the time rose to the opportunity to serve. On the way into Italy we were caught in a strike by the air traffic controllers. Originally due to arrive into the airport at 2.30pm, we eventually arrived at the hotel at 1am the following morning. The gentleman at the desk went out of his way to help us check in and get us settled as quickly as possible. On our return I developed a raging toothache and the concierge went out of his way to find us an english speaking dentist at 7.30pm on a Sunday evening as we were flying out the next day. I couldn't have flown the way I was so I am eternally grateful for the care and concern shown to me.
A good choice of Hotel in Rome, quite close to busy main road but still quiet at night and sleep wasn't disturbed. This is a small hotel but furnished nicely and clean. All staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast is adequate with plenty of choice. Rooftop area is a bonus and nice to visit at the end of a days sightseeing for a drink and sit in sun.
This stylish, boutique hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood near to the Borghese Park (5min walk) Spanish steps (15 min walk) & metro (10 min walk) to the Roma Termini, Vatican City, Colosseum etc., My room was exactly as depicted in the hotel's photo gallery. The bathroom was clean, modern/stylish and the sink basin has a unique light decorative feature. Personally I found the mattress to be a little too firm however this was quickly resolved by the hotel . The Reception Team were amazing from upgrading my room on arrival (unprompted); suggesting places to visit/ key places of interest to going above and beyond to help resolve an issue I had with my return flight, I remain indebted for their help/professional manner. The rooms aren't sound proofed but I didn't notice after the first night. They also give you a mobile phone to use during your stay which I found invaluable. Substantial breakfast buffet ie a mix of cereals, fresh fruit and hot food.
Lovely Tribune Hotel”
We stayed for 3 nights at the Tribune Hotel. It is a stylish hotel and is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a varied choice of hot and cold items. There is a lovely terrace bar where you can unwind at the end of a busy day of sightseeing- have an Aperol Spritz! All staff members were friendly and professional. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommended.
A lovely hotel”
Although not right in the centre, the location is good with many attractions being within a 15 to 20 minute walk. Alternatively there are bus stops nearby and the Metro is about a 10 minutes walk. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and welcoming and the buffet breakfast excellent. The terrace bar on the roof of the hotel offers lovely views across Rome so well worth a visit.
Great modern hotel, good location”
Great clean hotel. Modern good size room, (had a quadruple room) though tiny bathroom. Hotel located across the street from Villa Borghese. 20 min walk to Trevi fountain. Breakfast included, rooftop bar with great views of the city.
Very nice modern hotel”
Highly recommend this hotel. Everything was efficient and very clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English. Most historic sights are an enjoyable 40 minute walk away or you can take a taxi....we preferred to walk. The only con is that the restaurant has a very limited menu in the evening but there are several high quality resturants with in a few minutes walk.
Very modern hotel . Extremely comfortable . Very accesible . Personal very helpful . The only thing neeeds improvement is the Cable tv . Very limited channels . Not too much channels in English or Spanish .
Excellent hotel.. ”
Room: Stylish decor. Immaculate. Gorgeous bed linens. Staff: The bell boy ( wish I remembered his name) was very kind. The reception staff were also very welcoming Location: Quiet area. About a 10 minutes walk to the Triton Fountains
We only stay here for a night, so cant comment much. The staff is very strict with checking in, we arrive quarter to 2pm and being told to wait until 2 pm to process the check in. Breakfast was average, we end up walking down to Cafe Greco in Spanish step to get our coffee. There is a path way through a parking area which takes you all the way down to the Spanish step, which is convenient. The room itself is spacious and quite nice. Parking and road access is pretty easy.
