Lovely Tribune Hotel”
We stayed for 3 nights at the Tribune Hotel. It is a stylish hotel and is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a varied choice of hot and cold items. There is a lovely terrace bar where you can unwind at the end of a busy day of sightseeing- have an Aperol Spritz! All staff members were friendly and professional. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommended.
Loved The Tribune Hotel in Rome. Great quiet area close to Spanish Steps & to Borghese Park.”
Loved our time at this hotel! Great location close to many popular attractions! Very comfortable beds, great linens, great shower, great complimentary breakfast, wonderful staff, amazing top floor terrace restaurant with great view & live music. Would highly recommend The Tribune Hotel!
We stayed at The Tribune for 4 nights. Our room was very spacious, luxurious and very clean. The room was quiet with a view of the city walls and the gardens surrounding Villa Borghese. The breakfast was lovely, hot and cold buffet, lovely pastries, great coffee. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were 10% satisfied with our stay and will definitely recommend The Tribune in future.
Great Stylish Hotel ”
We had an excellent stay at the Tribune Hotel. The room was roomy and stylish. Breakfast was great and the roof top bar was beautiful at night. Very close to the Borhese Park and Museum and a few other sites. There are many restaurants walkable in the area.
Clean, fresh, friendly & good value ”
Staff at the reception were very helpful. My wife had asked about a few places to pick up certain cosmetics and beauty treatments as we were due to leave for Sardinia on the second part of our honeymoon and the staff at reception were extremely helpful and we're phoning around places for her to go. They made a fuss of us on our honeymoon and upgraded us to a better room. Nothing seemed to be a problem for any of the staff. They also spoke good English and understood our Scottish accent no problem! Ha! The rooftop bar provided great views and the room was spacious and modern. Location was good as there were plenty of nice eateries without having to go anywhere near the city centre (we try to avoid tourist hotspots for eating) there was also a small shop very nearby which was handy for water and snacks. The hotel provided the room with a smartphone that was set up / designed to help you find your way around Rome and make international calls for free. What a great addition to the room!
Hotel is recently refurbished, was clean and room was a decent size. Mini bar was complimentary on the first occasion (pay to have it refilled), while only soft drink provided, was still a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also included in the booking. Hotel staff very friendly and provided helpful guide to all the main tourist attractions in Rome as well as the places the locals visit. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Rome for business or pleasure.
This stylish, boutique hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood near to the Borghese Park (5min walk) Spanish steps (15 min walk) & metro (10 min walk) to the Roma Termini, Vatican City, Colosseum etc., My room was exactly as depicted in the hotel's photo gallery. The bathroom was clean, modern/stylish and the sink basin has a unique light decorative feature. Personally I found the mattress to be a little too firm however this was quickly resolved by the hotel . The Reception Team were amazing from upgrading my room on arrival (unprompted); suggesting places to visit/ key places of interest to going above and beyond to help resolve an issue I had with my return flight, I remain indebted for their help/professional manner. The rooms aren't sound proofed but I didn't notice after the first night. They also give you a mobile phone to use during your stay which I found invaluable. Substantial breakfast buffet ie a mix of cereals, fresh fruit and hot food.
Great, clean, modern, affordable hotel in Rome”
I never write reviews, so this is a big deal. I LOVE this hotel. As an American, hotels in Europe are always a bit of a gamble unless you spend $$$$$. I can assure this hotel is excellent in so many ways. The rooms are clean, modern, bright, and inviting. The AC is cold! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is actually really good. The ONLY drawback is the location. It's not bad, just not great in terms of getting to city center and some of the cooler, funkier neighborhoods. That said, stay here! You will love it, I promise you.
Gorgeous hotel ”
The hotel was well decorated compared to a lot of outdated decors found in other hotels in Rome. The staff was amazing and very kind and able to help. It was a smaller boutique hotel, there’s a lot of restaurants near by. Not in the high touristy part of Rome which was calmer and nice. It took me about a 10-15 min walk to get to the Spanish steps or near the touristy part. About a 20 min walk from termini station. Everything was exceptional for the price, but one con would be the sound. You can hear people in the hallway talking clearly or any noise in the hall, the door wasn’t providing any sound barrier at all. This wasn’t really a big issue for me but take that into consideration.
Lovely, small hotel. Have been before, over 2 years ago, and everything has been maintained to an excellent standard. Reception staff welcoming, pleasant and efficient; concierge very helpful; rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast buffet very good with plenty of variety. Location- no problem if you’re fit and able-a ten minute walk uphill from Piazza Barberini- I didn’t mind it at all, but others may struggle. Several very good restaurants around hotel to avoid too much walking in the evening, if needed. Main sights of Rome all within a 10-20 minute walk. Loved it last time and again this time.
Home away from home.not only a hotel, but more than friends and family, all I got is warmly care .even if I brought some kind of trouble,"are you better?",what they did really cure me.there is no doubt that if I return to Roma,Tribune will be my only choice.
Wonderful short stay... couldn't ask for more in a hotel”
Perfect location for exploring Rome, very clean and fresh hotel with very helpful staff. Tastefully decorated decent size room with super comfortable bed. For a person who likes their tea it was so nice having good tea / coffee making facilities with mini fridge and having free complimentary drinks in the fridge on the first night was a lovely touch. We will be back.
Located in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist chaos. The hotel is beautifully appointed contemporary. Beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from Rome in July heat. Amazing views and breeze from the rooftop terrace bar makes sunsets with an aperitif an integral part of the evenings. Excellent customer service all around and the breakfast is well beyond what I expected.
Smart and sophisticated hotel”
This is a boutique hotel, which has many outstanding features. Reception is airy and staff extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are fabulous - I had a classic double room to myself. It was beautifully decorated with everything needed for my week-long stay. The huge bed was very comfy. The beautiful room was large and had a lovely big walk in shower room off. The room was cleaned to an exceptional standard each day. Double glazing meant little street noise heard. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was regularly replenished. Staff were very helpful and efficient. There are a number if good restaurants nearby if you don't want to go to the centre for dinner. I would definitel recommend this hotel, but you must be prepared to walk. Piazza Barberinini is a 10 minute walk away, downhill. After a long day sightseeing the walk uphill to the hotel was tough. I sometimes got a taxi (€10).
A lovely hotel”
Although not right in the centre, the location is good with many attractions being within a 15 to 20 minute walk. Alternatively there are bus stops nearby and the Metro is about a 10 minutes walk. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and welcoming and the buffet breakfast excellent. The terrace bar on the roof of the hotel offers lovely views across Rome so well worth a visit.
Could not be better”
Being located in the centre of Rome, the location of this hotel is great for exploring the various tourist sites of the city. The hotel has absolutely great staff, very friendly and very competent; the rooms are exceptionally clean.
A good choice of Hotel in Rome, quite close to busy main road but still quiet at night and sleep wasn't disturbed. This is a small hotel but furnished nicely and clean. All staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast is adequate with plenty of choice. Rooftop area is a bonus and nice to visit at the end of a days sightseeing for a drink and sit in sun.
Just What I Had Been Looking For!”
The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain, a stunning boutique hotel. The hotel is quite Art Deco, the staff are lovely and welcoming, right from the moment arrived to booking a taxi when leaving. Upgraded on arrival to a deluxe so the room was exceptionally spacious, clean tidy and ideal for lounging (if you get chance) after a busy day exploring the city. The breakfast was always fully stocked with a good variety of pastries, cereal, meat and cheeses and a hot selection, and with it being an independent hotel always felt the staff were attentive. The only call out is for any travellers who have walking difficulties as the hotel is at the top of a hill but would definitely recommended and go back.
Spacious.. clean.. great rooftop bar ”
Pros- we are a family of 4 and the room size was bigger than your average hotel room. Free breakfast was good (fresh fruit/fresh pastries/ yogurt station .. good coffee). They provide you with a cellphone to carry around which is great for directions and worked better than our international plan connection. Pretty rooftop bar for drinks and snacks, we watched the sunset from the rooftop bar one night. They were very accommodating I wanted a cheese plater and they put something together for us that was not on their menu Cons- location/hotel is a 15 mins walk from the closest attraction, I was ok with that but my boys didn’t love the extra walk at the end of our long day Overall we had a gear experience. Looking forward to go back and visit again.
A superb hotel with an outstanding staff”
A five star rating does not do the property or the staff or the food justice. Thank you for an excellent stay in Rome.
