Very convenient location and definitely worth every penny of staying there. I traveled with my mom who is a senior citizen and lucky us that this hotel is just a walking distance to almost all of the touristy place in Dumaguete. It is right across the Silliman University signage, almost 3 minutes walking distance to the boulevard (#DumaGetMe signage), Tempurahan and also we just walked when we went to the port to ride the ferry going to Siquijor. It is around 5 minutes walk to the Sans Rival Bistro and Sans Rival Cake store. The room and the bathroom was just spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. We arrived at 6AM and we started strolling at the boulevard and when we went back at around 830AM to use the lobby comfort room, we were fortunate enough that there has been a free room and we were able to check in early. I just love my stay here and will definitely book again at this hotel when go back to Dumaguete.

Clean and Affordable Stay in a Central Location”
Stayed here for a night since we wanted to head over to Oslob after. It was walking distance for the hotel to the Dumaguete port to Siquijor. It looks new and has an elavator. We took a family room for the 3 of us. It was big enough and had good water pressure. The only thing it lacked was a bidet for the toilet. Please add that in!!! Everything else was perfect. The staff were courteous and welcoming. There was security even if it was late. Check in and checkout was a breeze. There was a 1k security deposit that was returned upon checkout. Will stay here if I go back to Dumaguete. We walked from here to San Srival Bistro. Going back there we headed away from the sea and there were many shops and food places within the vicinity.

The place is just walking distance to the shops, boulevard, sans rival and many more. There is a seven eleven shop right in front where you can buy coffee and sandwiches and other things you might need. It is clean enough and the staff are friendly. You can request for electric kettle and mugs if you need them. Great place to stay in if you happen to be in Dumaguete.

Excellent location! Walking distance to Dumaguete port, Siliman University, Ceres Bus Stop, Rizal Blvd. There are convenience stores, spa, drug stores and fast food in front, beside and across the hotel. 1 tricycle ride away to Ceres Bus Terminal. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The staff are geniunely kind and very accomodating. You don't find hard time to request for early check in, especially guests like us who came from distant place. The rooms, lobby, facade and others areas are well kept and very clean. The decors are elegant and everything offers a homy environment.

Best location, right on Silliman Ave, just a few steps to the Silliman Portals, the City's icon. We walked everywhere, to restos, Lee Plaza, to Luce Auditorium to watch MButterfly. The only times we rode tricycles were to go to Hayahay and to the bus terminal. There's a Korean resto right next door and Jo's Inato on the other side. There's even a Scooby's past the intersection for breakfast and snack options. Even though the hotel didn't have breakfast options, its location more than made up for it. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean,comfortable and we didn't have any trouble with the bathroom or noise from outside. Definitely staying here on our next visit!

The location is convenient , near to Victory Dumaguete where we have the Discipleship 2020 conference. near to what we need also. We like our stay. If coming back to Dumaguete, will still choose U Pension. The staff help us with our request for a motor rental for our DIY tour to Pulangbato Falls and Casaroro falls. Thank you. God bless!

Affordable Hotel Price”
The hotel was good, to be honest. But the downside of it was, during our stay, there was an ongoing renovation/maintenance of the building. The smell of the rugby (?) kind of absorbed by the air-conditioning unit and the smell entered our room.

Great Location, Spacious Room and Friendly Staff”
It's just across 7eleven. Near other establishments like banks and restaurants. Port is just one block away and airport is just 15 min away but you need to ride a tryk which is not bad. Walking distance to Siliman University and tourist spot church and Belfry Tower. Staffs and guards are all accomodating and friendly. Good thing they have an elevator. Room temperature is ok. We stayed for 2nights for 3pax, family room is spacious. The downside - shower it's too close to the wall and we cannot adjust it. Also sometimes toilet bowl is clogged. Over all, I will still recommend UPension. Best place to stay in Dumaguete 😉

First nice shower we had in the Philippines. The room was big and spatious there was a TV and the WiFi was good. It was literally a 5 min walk to the port. Nothing to complain about really. But I did find a lot of flies in the room.

Staff and security all friendly.If don’t might have some ants and cockroaches.....cause hotel nearby all popular restaurants.There’s a KTV around and sometime might feel noisy.Btw..water is hot enough and shower water pressure is strong enough. Hight CP value!!
