free bible :)

15minutes walk from border gate (zhuhai border aka gongbei). if you are from shenzen.then take a ferry to zhuhai and taxy to gongbei border rmb20. then walk to the victoria for 15minutes. instead of shenzen - macau ferry that cost much money.and macau ferry terminal to gongbei is far. if you like to go to grandlisboa, venetian,or others. just walk to border gate and have a free shuttle bus there.

Great bang for the buck”

location, room size, friendly staff

I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

small but nice”

Easy to access. There are quite a few good restaurants near the hotel. Only a few minutes walk to the bus stop.
The hotel should have shuttle bus to pick up guests from the airport.

It was the first time for my friends and I to visit Macau. We chose to stay at the Victoria because we wanted to avoid noisy place. And on the map this hotel seems to be far from the city center. We were afraid that it was going to be difficult to get to the hotel but it was very easy. We took AP1 bus from the airport and got off at the last stop at the border gate. Then some police officers directed the way to the hotel. Then we were able to ask local people for the bus number to get to tourist attractions around Macau. We asked the hotel staff to write some Chinese words that we needed to communicate with the local people which were very useful. Our first trip to Macau turned out to be very nice and fun.

Nice hotel to stay with”

Comfort Room at reasonable price
Location is not so near from the center of attraction

We like the room, it clean and comfort. The bathroom also nice and well done designed. The location is not really good, it's not really near to the center of attaction, however booking a taxi in Macau is cheap as Macau is consider as a small city. You can take a taxi to the center of attraction and pay about HKD/MOP 25-30 only. 1 HKD = 1 MOP (Macau Pacatta MOP is pegged with HK Dolar). The receptionist and staff were helpful and understand english well.

I didn't expect to be spending another night in Macau, but, when I had to, I found this great deal via Agoda.com, and was pleasantly surprised by the extremely helpful staff and the great location: a $10 (USD) taxi ride from the airport, with bus access, many many local restaurants nearby, and a gorgeous park with walkways and a phenomenal view of the city at the top.

Great hotel but far away from city”

Hotel service is good and room is clean.

victoria is a great hotel located in macau. if you take taxi from airport to this hotel at night, it only cost you from mop70 to 100 depend on your goods. this hotel provide good and friendly service and the room is clean. toilet cleanliness also consider good for me. if you want to travel to zuhai, china then victoria is the good choice becuase it located near to the china border. however victoria hotel is located far from macau city and macau casino. you have to take bus to travel to the macau city and tourism spot.

The hotel was reasonable for its price, considering it is Macau. The room was okay for 3 people but more than three, I wouldn’t choose this hotel. The location was good. It was close to the Senado Park. The setvice was good too. Later I found much cheaper price hotel nearby so do your research thoroughly before choosing the hotel

very nicely decorated, very clean, very courteous and polite staff, helpful, not noisy at all. great value for money.
none. a short taxi from the casinos and the historic centre of macau. macau is very small so nowhere is very far away.

really enjoyed staying at this hotel. great value. a very nice hotel. not that much around the hotel but getting taxis around macau was easy enough. if you do stay here you will probably get a taxi back to the hotel (very cheap), if you don't speak Cantonese then before you leave the hotel ask the staff on reception to write the name and address of the hotel on a card for you in Chinese so you can give that to the taxi driver. one taxi i got in didnt understand the address in english even when i pointed at the location on a map. Not a problem but just be prepared and ask at reception before you go out.

A very pleasant stay”

Staff very good

Although in the northern part of Macau - transport by bus too and from very convenient to all parts of Macau. Main bus stop is just across the road from the hotel by a small park - from memory No 3 goes to most tourist areas including the ferry terminal. The restaurant in the hotel caters for the Chinese tastes - there are many other restaurants around however that cheaply satisfy western taste buds. Accommodation is clean and reasonably spacious for the price -

Good location. Food is good and room is clean.

clean and spacious room, cable TV, has the essential toiletries, comfy bed, near a bus stop
non-English speaking staff

I liked my stay in The Victoria Hotel. Just be sure to have the name and address of the hotel in Chinese for you to arrive in the hotel because taxi drivers in Macau usually don't understand English. The room was clean and spacious even bigger than a 4-star hotel of the same room type. There was cabled television. The bathroom was relatively good but there was no bathtub. The location was okay but it's quite far from the city center and the casinos. However, across the hotel is a bus stop so it's still accessible. I'll definitely recommend this to my friends.
