Old Smelliest Hotel with Bed Bugs”
Infestation of bedbugs and smelly room... Not recomended for traveller...
expensive, room a bit old, staff is unfriendly”
room is moldy and water is too hot
Lost a necklace in hotel ”
I put my necklace on the table and forgot to take it away when checked out, but the hotel staff said they didn’t see any necklace, that’s really disappointed me. And the service consciousness of hotel staff is poor. But the location is good, near the Custom, it’s quite convenient.
front staff(girls) were very helpful, rooms were smelly, far away from everything
Hotel is near the border and a little far from the main tourist spots and casinos but this hotel is way better than the hotel we've stayed at for the rest of our stay in Macau. The hotel is also near to a lot of restaurants and eateries.
Not worth it for the price”
The location of the hotel was decent, considering a short walk to the border gate can get you access to free shuttle buses to the casinos. However, the room sucked. It was an old room that smelled of stale cigarette smoke, with a tiny old TV, and towels that were probably 50 years old (to match the outdated room). Besides the hotel stay, they hotel staff was friendly, but they seemed to make an effort to keep my security deposit. They said they “applied” for it to be returned, but the application failed. They expected me to accept their response of “it will be returned to you in one month”. That’s a response only stupid people give, and a response only stupid people accept. It doesn’t take long to cancel a hold on a credit card, and if it does, they need training.
" Hotel Lobby just after renovation is look new, but interior is still OLD hotel room"”
New Year Eve 2019, hotel room rate is crazy pricey. Room looks old, dim light inside the room and corridor but luckily the mattress and pillow is so fluffy and me and my bf had a good sleep. Location so so, but walking distance to restaurant about 10min. Hotel location is near to China Zhu Hai border.
gd price.... just stay for a night, b and b ... worth
Great bang for the buck”
I usually travel alone, and a hotel is just a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. So I usually don't spend a lot on lodging. Victoria Hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed at. The room and bathrooms are very spacious and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is a bit north and out of the way, but it's great because I could experience the culture. Plus, there are 3 bus stops within 2 minute walking distance of the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about their food. Also, I did not bring a computer nor a smartphone, so I don't know if their wifi works or not. Overall, an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend it!
Great location with all necessity”
This is 2nd time i stayed in this hotel. Reason being the great location, just 5mins walk to the check point to China. There are some great eating place around the corner too. Take a bus from bus stop just opposite and you will reach all the famous tourist area too. Planning to go big hotel for gamble? Take a free bus from the Check point, no need hire taxi.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
the room was cozy althoug a bit small., but very affordable and the front desk clerk was very nice, they speak english and provided directions in macau. if ever i'll go back to macau, ii'll definitely stay again in victoria hotel
Practical and nice!”
If you need a place to spend the night minus the nice-to-have luxuries that's being offered by the 5s and the 7s, well this is it! It's a cheap stay but hey, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. It's practical if the only time you'll be there is when you're ready to go to bed. Staff were nice and friendly. Place is quiet.
A very pleasant stay”
Although in the northern part of Macau - transport by bus too and from very convenient to all parts of Macau. Main bus stop is just across the road from the hotel by a small park - from memory No 3 goes to most tourist areas including the ferry terminal. The restaurant in the hotel caters for the Chinese tastes - there are many other restaurants around however that cheaply satisfy western taste buds. Accommodation is clean and reasonably spacious for the price -
Nice hotel to stay with”
We like the room, it clean and comfort. The bathroom also nice and well done designed. The location is not really good, it's not really near to the center of attaction, however booking a taxi in Macau is cheap as Macau is consider as a small city. You can take a taxi to the center of attraction and pay about HKD/MOP 25-30 only. 1 HKD = 1 MOP (Macau Pacatta MOP is pegged with HK Dolar). The receptionist and staff were helpful and understand english well.
Looking for food is very hard”
definitely, Victoria hotel has a very clean room and comfortable to stay. they have a very good staff. they are accommodating. The location is easy to find. But my only problem is their restaurant. i had a hard time looking for food to eat. The menu doesn't have an English word. The term is all Chinese. That would be the problem of all foreigners just like me.
Staying at victoria hotel macau is a great stay for a firstimer because the hotel is located accessively to the buses, taxi,to the ferry station and also to the airport.the staffs are very friendly and very accomodating.the room is clean and spacious..room facilities is okay.the bathroom is okay too I like it because I am very particular of the comfort.
Review of Victoria Hotel”
We arrived at the hotel early, at about 8.00 am to keep out luggage as we wanted to go elsewhere. There was no second question asked and we proceeded to have our luggage kept. Upon our return at about 7.30 pm, we checked in and there was again no awkward questions asked. Efficient as can be, we were given our key to our room within minutes and we found we liked the room. Everything works. However, areas which can be improved are: (a) provide a closet to keep our clothes; and, (b) increase the brightness of the room.
What I feel and see during my stay in this hotel”
It is surrounded by short distance walk to various historical places. Just five minutes walk to Barrie gate. Good and reasonable food stalls are just in front of hotel, about three minutes walk. All buses passes by this hotel and I can take any bus to any place within Macau without problem. One big problem is that all Casino are too far away from hotel. We must walk to Barries Gate bus terminal to take a free shuttle bus to visit those big and famous Casino at Taipa.
Nice looking hotel from the outside but the hotel needs serious improvement. 1) the bed is super hard 2) we requested for non smoking room but were given the smoking one 3) wifi connection for level 7 sucks 4) staff needs more customer care training 5) rooms are outdated with old furniture 6) carpet is dirty and looks old 7) huge amount of deposit needed upon check in despite the fact the we have paid full amount via Agoda 8) location wise: too far from the centre Pros: 1) affordable compared to other hotels in the centre 2) air con system is good.
Good but expensive, i travelled during holiday ☹️ room are so much expensive”
Very good and to be recommended for those have xtra budget
