Nice place to stay”
This was really nice time in The Vijitt Resort. Our villa (deluxe villa) was big and comfortable with great bathroom and outdoor rain shower (great experience!). The private terrace is a nice idea for people who love sunbathing and quiet time. Hotel's staff was kind and helpful and there was no language problem. Resort is really big but there is no a big issue with a long distance walking because of nice "buggy service". the main swimming pool is superb. It is quite big, clean and with fantastic view. The beach is very close to the pool but you cannot swim there (but this is a paradise for kite surfers). Beaches on this side of island are not good for swimming. If you want to swim you can use a free hotel's transport to another beach. Hotel provides also free transfers to some island's tourists area (i.e. Jungceylon mall on Patong district or Phuket town). Hotel offers also some adventure attractions (i.e. canoe trips, diving trips, famous island visits, etc.) but this is really expensive in comparison to the offers you can find outside. You can find the same trips almost half price cheaper outside the hotel... Food in both restaurants are good and taste but also expensive if you compare this to prices in restaurants outside the resort. The same concerns V Spa - nice place, nice service but you can have the same much cheaper in other places (but the treatments rooms are great in V spa). And what about disadvantages? I can say that A/C was quait loud (and house's cleaners often swiched it off after daily cleaning...). We had also some not nice experience with small home lizards (they are nice and not dangerous but it's some shock if you find it in the bed). Second not good thing was when the toilet was blocked without any reason. but generally it was nice time and I can recommend this place.

Amazing villas and fantastic staff”
A top notch resort with a relaxing locations and great service. We were upgraded to a larger villa on arrival and our guide was incredibly helpful in ensuring that we knew all that we needed to know about the facilities and resort activities that occurred during the day. A bus transports travelers to phuket town and nai han beach on a daily basis which really helped as the constant taxis soon became expensive. The resort has a large communal area where you will be able to partake in activities such as swimming, fishing, horse riding and kayaking. The villas were very spacious and were clean and house keeping comes once a day. Our villa had 2 floors, 3 showers including an outdoor shower, a private pool, two tv and plenty of seating to do nothing. Villas are separate so travelers do get privacy and the plants/ferns that surround the villas provide added protection. We found that due to the size of the resort, house keeping would sometimes come at times in the afternoon once we had arrived back from our daily travels, however, this was not a major issue. A few other points: - Buses do not run late into the night and generally stop before 5 - wireless is limited to the lobby areas - breakfast finishes a bit early 10.30 - Taxi prices organised through the resort are more expensive but are clean and safe - The english of some staff members could do with some improvement Overall, our stay was incredibly relaxing and we would high recommend staying at the Vijitt

The best experience ever”
actually my purpose for this trip to phuket is to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and also to propose to her on her birthday. before the trip, i sent my request for some special arrangements like birthday cake, bouquet and a perfect place for my proposal to the hotel. the response from vijitt was prompt and the suggestion from them was very good which really showed their expertise and sincere to help guests. my girlfriend and i were really surprised and touched by their preparation for the birthday dinner. they spent 2 hours to decorate the table and specially arranged one staff to serve us (should be very exceptional to have 1 staff to take care of one table as in my case it was a birthday+proposal dinner) the staff served us was really nice who did contribute a lot to my successful proposal to my girlfriend (now is fiancee =)). it was just an incredible experience to spend such memorable time at vijitt resort! we will visit it again!

Gorgeous resort, free shuttles to shopping ”
my husband and i loved the vijitt resort, staying 3 nights in a rural style yet luxurious villa. we woke to the sounds of birds chirping and in the evenings you heard the crickets' chorus. bring aeroguard spray though for evening walks because of mozzies. to be expected as the villas are set amidst flora and fauna. we walked through beautifully landscaped gardens with tropical fruit trees, some with labels and brief description, which was like a walk through a botanical garden. the villa was stunning but our mattress hard so we requested it changed which the staff did right away. the put a soft cover on top which was fine. the bathroom light was a bit dim though so it was not easy to apply makeup. we liked the his and her vanity basins though. the spa treatments were very good and the staff attentive to your needs. even if the resort is a bit secluded with little shopping and nightlife in the vicinity, there are free daily shuttles to patong, central festival shopping centre and a free boat ride to coral island and back. the staff at vijitt are so welcoming and friendly. the infinity pool is huge and the views of the andaman coast and islands are amazing. the daily breakfast buffet is good with a large spread. this has to be one of the best stays we've had and recommend it to everyone who wants to spoil themselves a little.

Perfect quiet resort with excellent service”
We came from 2 busy days in Bangkok and were immediately welcomed and relaxed as we stepped off of our shuttle from the airport at the Vijitt where we were welcomed with a delicious welcome cocktail by Nathalie, a very kind and welcoming French manager. We were 2 couples traveling on our honeymoon in Thailand. We spent just 1 night at this amazing resort but I would have spent more time had our budget permitted it. If you spend any time in Phuket I highly recommend you reserve this resort for at least 2 nights. We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped off the plane. The service at the bar, restaurants, spa, etc. was excellent. The people are very kind and welcoming and can not do enough to make you feel special. The V spa service with private hammam and jacuzzi in the wilderness overlooking the ocean is an amazing experience. The rooms are perfectly spacious and well equiped with all you need to make your stay pleasant. A bottle of wine and flowers upon arrival made us feel like the happiest honeymooners alive! Thank you to all of the amazing staff! We will be back.

BEST VACATION EVER”
I can't say enough positive things about Vijitt. We travelled to Pukhet for the first time with our 2 boys ages 5 and 6. We had booked the Deluxe Villa and were concerned about the accommodations not meeting the needs of a family of 4 but with the extra bed it was more than adequate for our stay. The villas are all gorgeous but if you can, try to book a sea view or beachfront villa. Watching the early morning sunrise was amazing! We had one hiccup 2 days after we arrived with some bugs that had gotten in the room (we are in a tropical location - yes, there are bugs). But the hotel staff quickly packed us up and moved us to another villa with a private plunge pool, a great view and superior accommodations at no charge due to our inconvenience. We almost cancelled our reservation on agoda after reading that friendship beach is not great for swimming. But boy am I glad we didn't! The beach is not the best for swimming and impossible to swim at low tide but watching the kite surfers and horses walk along the shore and the sun rise is well worth the trade off. The pool is amazing and there are incredible swimming beaches accessible through the free resort shuttle. The food was great at breakfast and the staff there treated my 2 sons like little kings! I wish I could remember all of their names to thank them personally for loving on our kids. It really made our time there special. Also, don't forget to try Baan Vijitt for some outstanding Thai cuisine with excellent service while you are there.I think the only thing that may have made our time there more special was a hammock or 2 strung up by the beach : )

queit relaxing and well thought out”
my partner and i wanted to escape the hustle of patong and felt rawai would offer a more peaceful opportunity and so it did, more than we expected. the vijitte resort was one of three options through agoda and by far the best choice. personally it was a honeymoon place. our villa was huge, had ocean views from the outdoor shower, the two person spa bath and the floor to ceiling windows from our bed. was brilliant. room service at 10.30 pm and a golf buggy valet 24hrs.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff”
We booked a deluxe villa and asked for a free upgrade at check-in and we were offered a pool villa. It was great. The pool wasn't big, less than 10m long but it was fun and convenient to swim there. It's a 2-storey villa, the living room is on the higher level surrounded by a terrace and the private pool. The view is also great from the bathtub. There is an outdoor shower on this level too. The bedroom and a small living room is on the lower level with a shower only bathroom. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful views if you open all the curtains. The Baan Vijitt Restaurant was under renovation, so the Savoury Restaurant was the only option. It is fine as we only stay for one night. Food was good and not very expensive. I got two mosquito bites even tho the staff sprayed repellent on our legs when we sat down. The public swimming pool is right next to the restaurant and it is 40x20m. The beach is in front of the swimming pool, it is not great but you can go to Coral Island for free for white sand beach. I called the service hotline and asked for various trips. They checked with tour companies for us, quoted the rate and helped us to book it. The staff was very helpful, responsive and polite. They have free boat transfer to Coral Island leaving at 9am and coming back at 2:30pm. They are very close to Chalong Pier, so you can also book with external tour companies and go on trips that depart from there. The hotel information booklet tells you many tour options. And the spa is 50% off for all ladies in Aug!! What a pity that we ran out of time to enjoy it! Overall speaking it is a great resort for couples or friends who just want to chill, be served well and do not mind spending a little extra on tours or food. We did not see local restaurants right outside of the hotel. They have golf cars to drive you around the resort as it is built on a hill. We were very satisfied with everything.

Great Pool with amazing view”
We love the resort pool with amazing sea view. The room is clean and the service is good. Friendly staff. The resort's facilities are great. In addition, their staff surprise us with the birthday cake for my wife during our breakfast at the restaurant. Definitely will come back again!! We strongly recommend to stay at Vijitt Resort if you visit to Phuket.

A hotel with a great service and a superb view”
I visited the vijitt resort with my grandparents, my mum and dad and my older brother. As soon as we arrived at the resort, we were totally struck by a green, clean and attractive space. The staff were very nice to us especially to my grandparents, the only elderly in the trip. Overall, things were very satisfactory; the room, the restaurant, and the service. Yet, on the first day we had to wait for the room to be cleaned for almost two hours after check in (we arrived later than 2 pm) and on the next day we changed the room and we again spent more than one hour for the room to be made. We had no idea why the staff could not make it ready right before we came and let us wait twice. However, we were offered a dinner for free as a compensation for this inconvenience.

Perfect for a 3 day weekend”
We really enjoyed our stay at Vijitt. Being a 2 hour flight away, we went to Phuket with the intention of doing nothing all weekend aside from a island/snorkelling tour, so it was important for us to stay in a quiet resort with good food and great amenities! Upon arrival we got upgraded to a beachfront villa which was excellent. The staff were happy to assist us in every way possible and the body scrub and facial packages at the day spa was phenomenal. If its a rainy day, they will take you by private car to lunch, or sites such as Chalong Temples and Big Buddah. Its so much more convenient than a tour bus. The restaurant is great, take advantage of the 50% off happy hour. Tip: if you order a breakfast set for room service, one set will easily feed 2-3 people. Soooo much food. All in all a great weekend and I will certainly return. The little touches were really noticed as well, such as staff remembering our names and being put with the same beautician every time I went to the day spa, and being automatically guided to our preferred table in the restaurant.

A piece of Heaven”
When we arrived, we felt right away into good hands. Not only the location on a hill is great, but also the way the hotel has been designed gave us the impression we were alone in the resort. The staff (managed by the friendly Chris) plays also a key role in this well-being feeling: very professional, courteous and friendly. The villas are spacious, comfortable and designed with taste. We felt like in a cocoon. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained... and the swimming pool is a must. We also enjoyed the quality of the food, with a menu well balanced between local and western food. We will definitely come back to the Vijitt Resort, where we found what we were looking for.

Fantastic boutique hotel, a small paradise”
We stayed 3 nights at the Vijitt during the first week of October (low season). We got upgraded into a Villa with Seaview. This was fantastic: real seaview! The villa interior is simple and elegant, very comfortable. The big plus being the giant bathtub with a huge window opening facing the pool and the sea. The villa had an easy access to the swimming-pool and restaurant, and the sea. This resort is "human-sized", it feels like a boutique hotel, it's the opposite of those big hotel/resort chains(ie. Marriott). The restaurant is right next to the pool and the sea. We took all our meals there, because they have everything you want and it's super quality. They have a good selection of thai and western food, as well desserts. The breakfast is also very good. Everything is freshly made. The pool is large, great for swimmers, it is also very well integrated with the environment. Walk 30sec from the pool and you are on the beach. Swimming in the sea is not that great though, water is not profound enough unless you go farther. But a walk at low and high tide is always nice. The hotel is very well located, near the peer where all the boats depart for the neighbor islands (ie. Phi Phi) or for diving tours. Less than 10min ride. But beware, for thos we want to venture out of the resort, there's not much to explore, no nightlife around... Service is efficiency with the thai touch. Overall, it was a success, and we hope we could stay longer.

Fantastic Relaxing Holidays”
We stayed at the Vijitt Resort phuket for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time there. We always stayed at the hotel which has great swimming pool with amazing view on the sea, long beach (although not easy to swin there at low tide), good food and friendly staff. It is perfect for couple relaxing holidays or families with young children as they also have a kids club, and the resort is green and large enough to go around with the kids.

Escape from Phuket”
We have lived in Thailand for 10 years and over that time have visited many parts of the country; this was our second trip to Phuket; on the previous visit we were with our children and left our resort infrequently. On this occasion we wanted to drive and hike around and see more of the island. So the judgement on Phuket as a whole: it is not worth it! While Phuket has some really great resorts, there are many more interesting and more beautiful places to visit in Thailand, that don't have Phuket's traffic, with a much more welcoming airport, better taxi services and cleaner beaches. The Vijitt however, with its individual chalets built in spacious well maintained grounds, is a great resort and a good place to escape from the rest of Phuket. The chalets/rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms are huge with big bathtubs, and the outdoor shower is a nice feature - though prone to moulds, and if you suffer from allergies as I do, potentially dangerous - it set off my asthma. Another letdown was that the hotel only provides the lower commercial package of TV channels. Its really quite inexpensive for hotels to provide a better package of channels - why some in Thailand choose not to, I have no idea. The bar and restaurant area are attractive and the food and drinks great. The pools are large and good for exercise - which they need to be because the gym, as is typical in Thai hotels, is small and poorly equipped. The staff in the bar and restaurant were a delight, all were very friendly, chatty and helpful - i should point out that even in a county where the quality of staff is renowned, the Vijitt's staff are exceptional! The beach at the Vijitt is another unfortunate letdown if you enjoy the water. Its in a bay and the falloff is very shallow so the water comes almost right up to the hotel garden wall when he tide is in, leaving a beach just a few meters wide, or when the tide is out, the "swimmable" water recedes to a point about 400 metres from the hotel. I

Excellent Service, Big rooms, perfect for couple”
enjoy a honey moon with my wife in this hotel is really enjoyable and happy by the welcome greeting from hotel manager. highly recommend those traveller should enjoy some city life in patong city first before straight stay in this hotel after arrived phuket. as this hotel is a bit far away from any shopping mall or nightlife area. therefore in the past 3 days, me and my wife only stay in this hotel and enjoy those meals provided by those 2 restaurants (one international and one thai style) in vijitt. the room is so big with large bath tube, but the maintenance of this hotel is not that good so the furniture is getting old, so suggest all of you should enjoy this good resort asap.

Beautiful villas in quiet beachfront location”
My husband and I stayed at Vijitt Resort for our last holiday before having a baby. We were upgraded to a beach front villa which was spacious and gorgeous. We especially loved the outdoor shower. The mattress was a little hard but the staff informed us on check in that it can be changed to a softer matress which we did. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were no children staying at the resort when we were there, however the resort does accomodate children. The resort is a little far from Patong ($20 cab ride each way) if that is the type of holiday you are after, but it suited us just fine. I highly recommend this resort and will be returning.

Tranquil beach and respectful staff”
my wife and i waited a little over a year to take our honeymoon, our two-week stay at the vijitt was worth the wait. our first week was mostly spent at the 40 meter negative edge pool, e gymn overlooking the bay, or our room. the in resort restaurants are fantastic, so we basically stayed on the resort, my wife scheduled us for a message and pedicure...loved it. the staff at the vijitt are wonderfully helpful and sweet people. our second week we ventured out, phi phi island speed boat tour, fanti-sea show, mui thia local fight night, dinners and finally a private sunset dinner cruise our last night. wow, we were shattered to have to leave.

Amazing Service”
Just a bit of background, we live in Rawai, and during low season we take advantage of the great low season rates to try out different luxury hotels in the area. The Vijitt is the best stay we have had bar none. It is truly a 5 star hotel. The setting is breathtaking, the grounds are huge and the gardens are well maintained. The swimming pool area is gorgeous, a 40 meter infinity pool overlooking Chalong Bay with a panoramic vista. Although the beach is not a swimming area some of the best beaches in Thailand are a 5 min drive away. The food coming out of the restaurant is superb, well presented and fantastic flavors. The most impressive aspect is the staff service, the training they have received is noticably head and shoulders above other hotels in Thailand. The one major deficit that the hotel has is the furnishings in the room, the bed was passable for comfort, the sofa was rediculous as the cushions kept sliding off and leaving you on the floor, the balcony which has beautiful ocean views has no furniture except floor level sun loungers that if you are albe to get yourself down to sit on them it is more than difficult to get up, and if you do use the lounger you are treated to the view of the balcony railings.
