Super helpful staff at check in and when we had questions. Wonderful warm pool. Very quiet. Awesome air conditioning. Slept great! Excellent value for what get. Ate at onsite bar where no reservations were needed. Staff inconsistent in terms of friendliness but overall okay. With Coronavirus such a concern right now, it would have been helpful to have hand sanitizer more available especially in food areas and throughout resort....lots of hands touching a lot of the same things.

Once you arrive .. you dont have to leave”
We arrived there after a 3 dsy stsy on Magnetic Island . Check in was quick and easy . We had a problem with the tv in our room We were up grade to the executive suite which had amazing view of the pool and Magnetic Island . The staff were friendly and really there is no need to leave the resort . We were even able to get a late check out .

The Ville Resort Casino”
The Ville had excellent views to Magnetic Island and was well situated to to the ferry (short walk) to Magnetic Island and to the Convention and Entertainment Centre. Although a little further walking distance to other eating establishments in Townsville, there were lovely pathways through the park and along the ocean front to reach other areas. The splash bar was a very pleasant addition to the pool area. Meals in the bistro were well priced and value for money. The addition of Miss Songs restaurant and the Casino were added attractions. The friendliness of porters to carry luggage to reception and staff in general are commended.

Amazing couples getaway”
Took the partner there for a birthday staycay due to border closures cancelling other plans. Everything was perfect. Staff, food, activities, room. Will definitely be back and bring the inlaws as MissSongs would be a real hit!!! 1st class everything. Thank you The Ville

Lovely rooms BUT walls are thin and interconnecting rooms when small children are around don't make for a good sleep. We were woken regularly by young children. It was like they were in our room... disappointing really as the rest was lovely...BREAKFAST is over priced too...

Townsville's Diamond in the Rough”
The Ville is a bit of a walk from everywhere else or in most instances a cab ride away. The hotel room is nothing to brag about but the amenities, restaurants and bars are fantastic. I especially loved the Splash Pool Bar and Quarterdeck. I didn't feel like I was in Townsville anymore!

The Ville hotel casino, is by definition , a one stop shop. While not being the most lavish casino, is has what is required . Also within the foyer area is a great Asian restaurant

Comfortable room, location a bit isolated”
The room was bright and comfortable. I was disappointed with the view - all the cranes off to the right and the Coral Sea looking a bit drab at the time. Gorgeous pools. I was there for a conference and found the conference facilities a bit lacking, room had a damp smell. Staff were delightful and eager to please. Breakfast looked good at first impression but on closer inspection, selection was quite limited and coffee really bad. Definitely need some training in the art of barista coffee. Ate at the restaurant in the casino which was good value for money.

Not bad, not good...”
Not a bad hotel but definitely no where near 5 or even 4 star. There are a number of very modern rooms but we were placed in a very pokey twin room with dated decor and uncomfortable beds. Hotel location is awesome and the restaurants and bars are also very good. This hotel is a bit of an enigma as there are so many good parts that are sadly let down by the rooms that have zero imagination and are not very comfortable.

Not best for business trips ”
It was nice enough, clean and everything. The restaurant is good, drinks expensive unless you go 4-7pm (happy hour). The pool is nice and clean. However, the wifi isn’t included which is a bit of a rip considering the amount I paid (nearly 2 grand). The internet charges are unclear and I ended up hotspotting off my phone to do my work. The room was nice, tea and coffee supplied and room service was always prompt. When we first got into our room our tv didn’t work, called reception and they sent up a repairman. He took the wall unit apart as we waited, got it working. Tv not the newest and probably could be replaced. Our neighbours were also apparently elephants (would come in at all hours opening drawers and slamming doors, not ideal for business stays). No bathrobes supplied in rooms as with other hotels in the same price range. It’s nice enough to go for drinks and the pool but i won’t be staying here again, which is a shame considering I travel to Townsville every 2 weeks for work. Staff were friendly and a lot of new trainees was good to see considering the economy.
