            Great place to stop oldie world hotel.... Lords Cricket ground 10 minutes walk away but No breakfasts at the Warrington so 4* instead of 5*

            Mixed feelings”

            The rooms in the hotel are quite comfortable but the hotel is still a building site undergoing a very lengthy refurbishment. It is far too early to be open to the public. We, a couple ages over 70, had to go up46 steps in an under lit staircase to reach our room. The entrance is normally through the pub but this isn’t open till evening so we had to use the back entrance which was always blocked by builders van. The rooms are very expensive, the kitchen not open so no breakfast was offered. Nobody there to check us out and again we had to struggle with luggage through the tradesman’s entrance. Poor. The barman was kind and helpful when he was actually there.
