Very nice and convenient place to stay”
We (family with a child) stayed in the Waterfront Apartments at the beg.of February. Our stay was great - upon arrival we were upgraded to a 2BR-apartment, which was clean, had everything one needs and had a nice view overlooking the lake. The apartment manager was extremely helpful with suggestions on food options and other tips and was really nice to accomodate our late check-out, particularly considering the busy season. The location was unbeatable, it's in the middle of the city, just a short stroll to everything, yet, it's quite at night. With no doubt, next time in Queenstown we would choose to stay in the Waterfron Apartments.

Great location, space, and facilities”
The heater in the room for cold days is not enough, need to ask for extra heater or electric blanket. We traveled I'm new Zealand from 5/17, I know most good quality accommodation can provide in the room(strong heater, air condition, or electric blanket). We are traveling with baby and our parents, we can't let our family have chance to get sick while sleeping. One of the managers at the reception first day ask us to tell them if we really feel code at the first night (so strange, we already use the heater more than three hours and we really feel cold in the room though she finally give us a extra heater after we use agoda message to complaint this) and when the manager leave our apartments complaint we are ridiculous(michelle). The second day my parents told me they feel very cold at night and my mom doesn't feel well, therefore we put the extra heater we got first day in my parents room. And ask extra heater or electric blanket for my parent's. The second day manager do help us quickly, but she mentioned in soda message our room is very hot (I put the extra heater in my parents room that's why when staff is coming the room is warm). I talked to other guests also stay in the apartments they feel warm in the room because the first day the apartment staff already provide electronic blanket. And manager Michelle not give us two extra heater first day because the other apartment need one. I don't believe most apartment room are warm enough with the weak heater, especially the days we stayed queenstown temperature went down quickly.

Great location with great views and close to town”
This hotel, although showing its age, is still a pleasure to stay in. Its proximity to town and the wonderful views override any negatives. It is well fitted out, with a big plasma TV, plenty of stuff to cook with if you want to eat in and there is a laundry in the complex. The beds are comfortable, but the 2nd bedroom is a little small. All units face the lake. We stayed in unit 5, and being an end apartment gave us views of Queenstown as well. This was our 2nd trip the Breakfree The Waterfront and I would stay there again.

Perfect apartment in a great location”
The studio apartment we stayed in was the perfect location for a Queenstown holiday. Clean, tidy, perfectly furnished .......... the list goes on! The studio comes with questionably the best views in town for such a convenient location. A short stroll into the centre of town. We will be using The Waterfront Apartments as a base for any future visits.

We spent 3 nights guys at the Waterfront Apartments and couldn’t fault it in any way. For us it was a perfect apartment in a perfect location and had everything we needed. We were on the 3rd floor with the most spectacular views over the lake and Remarkable mountains. Would definitely recommend and if ever back in Queenstown would stay here.

Wonderful lake view”
We booked this apartment because of its location overlooking the lake. It was a good choice. Fortunately there is a lift to take your luggage up from the underground garage to the fifth floor, leaving us only a few stairs to climb to our penthouse apartment. The view from the glass doors was breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting out on the huge balcony overlooking the lake and town. These apartments are just far enough from the town centre to avoid the noise of the nightlife in Queenstown, but are still only a few metres walk to the shops. The apartment was well fitted out and had very tasteful decor. The ensuite was excellent, with two showers and plenty of storage space. This was the most expensive apartment that we booked on our travels, but it was certainly worth the money and was the best accommodation of our three week trip.

Great Location, Beautiful View, Clean and Comfortable”
We booked a 2 rooms apartment for 4 adults. It was great to have a functional kitchen. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. There are 2 toilets/bathrooms and it is very useful. Great waterfront view and the apartment is very near to walk to the centre of Queenstown. We love this place.

Great view! Great location! Great facilities! ”
We are a couple in our 50s travelling with late teens to Queenstown . Our late checkin procedure was very smooth. Apt is very clean n well equipped, esp kitchen. Location is near all the restaurants , mini marts n even supermarkets. Tour Operators offices r all within walking distance. Showers , heaters n fans all worked very well. View of the lake is breathtaking. We highly recommend waterfront apts!

Fantastic view in room.”
It's no service apartment if you want services this place is not match. But Lake Wakatipu view, just inside your room, compensate that shortcoming. Convinient in room is full, kitchenware, dish washer, sofa, dining table. The two bedroom apartment type is match for group and family. Go to middle Queenstown just few walk. Just get and drop the key form letter box when outside office hour, don't be worry.

Top Position”
We had 9 days at The Waterfront Appartments. The position and the view were outstanding, being approx 100 metres from The Wharf with everything within flat, walking distance. 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment with Juliette balcony had all cooking facilities and appliances, comfortable king and queen beds, with abundant supply of towels. My only criticism was that for what you paid, would expect all lights to be working in lounge & bedrooms and the sofa lounge to not be worn bare on the arms. Also, whilst there was a large display of tourist brochures at Reception, it would have been nice to have an I. Room compendium in our apartment offering advice re emergency mumbers like taxi, ambulance, police, fire brigade, recommended restaurants, cafes, bakeries or the location of Supermarkets, Bottle Shops etc and whilst apartment wasn't serviced (which was fine by us) it would have been nice if there had been info included as to where we could get more toilet paper, tea, coffee etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we did ask questions. Would definitely recommend The Waterfront Appartments as a place to stay and will go back when we return to Queenstown.

Lovely apartment, and so near the town it's a great location. Nice views too from the window. Staff were very helpful. The one thing that didn't work was the internet connection was intermittent - and I had work I needed to do so this was a problem. People shouldn't advertise what they don't properly supply. Also fairly expensive, as is Queenstown. I hope they don't price themselves out.

Excellent Apartment and Location”
We stay in Deluxe Penthouse for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, minutes walk to eateries and shopping, it had a tremendous view of the Remarkable and a nice fireplace. In fact, we spent more time in the apartment than out. It's that good. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Queenstown.

Great view and perfect location”
This was a really nice place to stay. The rooms were great, the view better, and location was perfectly situated next to downtown Queenstown. My only recommendation is adding adapters for the Iphone 5 and 6. Most people have upgraded, making the nice charger/speaker system useless. It only costs a few dollars for the adapter and will make a big difference. Otherwise, great place!

Nice view, nice stay”
The lady in the reception was so helpful and friendly, that gave us a great greeting. When we opened the door, the view was fantastic. All the rooms were the same as the pictures. You can park your car just in front of the house. Parking in queenstown is not a easy one. Just park the car and walk to the town,shopping, dining ,or even the skyline. You would love this choice as I do.

Apartment review”
The apartment was in a great location. Three minute walk to the town centre. The view was breathtaking! Parking was inside which was great too. The furniture looks a bit tired but the bathrooms were renovated and lovely. Good kitchen. We were two couples staying a week so found the wardrobes small as they were full of extra linen and covers and the second bedroom, was quite small and the wardrobe did not have any shelves Geri the owner made us feel at home and we would certainly recommend the Waterfront !

Exceptional”
Probably the best located accommodation in Queenstown, for the most amazing views and proximity to shops and bars. Would highly recommend. If the weather is as sunny as it was for us, take a studio, with the amazing sun terrace. Would definitely return.
